Hands down the best juice bar in Redding. The level of service and the quality of product is exceptional. It's nice to have the option of putting "real" food in my body. There are very few options in Redding that don't have all the artificial flavors and sweeteners. At Roots, I know what's what I'm getting and feel great About paying for quality. Stopped here for my first time the other day because I've been very curious about it. The gentlemen whom I talked to was very accomadating. I told him it was my first time and he explained the menu and gave me a punch card that had 9 stamps on it which your 10th one will be free for first time customers. I can remember what I ordered but it was some type of smoothie that had peanut butter, banana, etc. It was super good and I wish I would've got a larger size but I couldn't bring myself to pay $8-9 for a smoothie. That's why I gave this place 4 stars. I understand produce prices (organic) as I work around that for my job, so I do think they are over priced in that aspect. However, I'm excited to return and try other things off the menu. read more

This place is incredible!! The juice is fresh and sooo tasty. The customer service is unbeatable, they are so friendly and basically give you a free juice on your first time by stamping so many on your punch card. And as someone who lives in LA...I cannot believe that you can get 24oz of fresh organic juice for a little over 8$!!! read more

The juices are moderately priced and delicious. I had the sunset juice which was sweet, but also had the veggies in it that are great for you! My friend had the V-7 and liked it but would suggest getting it without carrots. read more

This is a great place with a positive atmosphere! My husband had bought me a juice from their other location before so I knew they were good, and my friends rave about this place, but it was my first time here. The guy that waited on me was friendly and was very patient as I looked over their menu. All of the fresh fruit and veggies going into their drinks looked so good it was hard to decide. Once I ordered my drink it was hand delivered to me at my table with a smile by the same friendly guy that took my order. The smoothie I got from ROOTS was full of LIFE!!! This is not your average smoothie place and the quality and taste are definitely worth the few $ difference. It not only tasted yummy, I felt AMAZING after I drank it! I WILL be coming back here! The only complaint i have is the prices, which i pay, but then when i fill out their punch card, it's only good for a smaller drink. So their drinks are already overpriced plus you don't even get free drink after you have paid for 10 and supported their business. Kind of annoying. read more

Roots juice bar is great! I've only had a few drinks, but the ginger shots are great! Make sure you go with the expectation to spend a little bit more than you would normally spend on juice. But it's so worth the cost. read more

I love this place!!!!! I stopped going to Jamba many years ago because every thing was frozen, not fresh, and FULL OF SUGAR. I could get a good juice at Gorilla Bites but then they closed. Anyway everyone here is so sweet and nice and helpful( and happy) and I can get my fresh squeezed juice quickly and head off to other places or sit there and sip! Wish i had tried it sooner. Beautiful decor. Great vibes. You can tell the employees love their job, which makes me want to continue to support this hard working team. I value having an organic option in town and it's so convenient when I don't have time to juice at home. I appreciate how Roots is involved in the community and their grass roots beginnings. Check them out at farmers markets on Saturday's. I love being able to bring in my own container and they give away all of their organic pulp for free!! Great for my garden! Keep it going. read more

First off let me say their products are very good, a bit high priced, but very good! Went here this morning, 2 people seated and one person at register ordering. Stood there for about 5 minutes and still waiting, the cashier and the lady ordering were busy talking about everything except what she was gonna order. Then another lady appeared from the bathroom and joined the other lady.....still no order, just gabbing and could care less that we were waiting now for what seemed like 10 minutes. Finally the ladies ordered and recognized we were waiting and broke off the good old time gab session the cashier was having with them.....so we walked up, no apology, just what would you like to order. Absolutely terrible customer service with no regard to people waiting in line....the smoothie was awesome, the people not so much! read more

I'm a frequent and long term customer. I'm used to waiting during busy times, everything is fresh and made after ordering. When it's slow, often someone is preparing my drink while I'm still ordering. But not today. I was the only one in the store and I could see two people working in the back. I was beginning to wonder what was taking so long for my drink when someone came from the back and picked up my order and then made it. This was 10 minutes after I ordered (people were in line behind me so the cashier was busy). I hope roots isn't getting so big that they start forgetting customer service. read more

Wish i had a better experience for my first visit... It was very quiet and we ordered right away (easy order just 2 smoothies). 15 minutes later, we still did not have our order but people ordering after did. The guy who rang us up finally realized we we're still waiting (there was 6 people working) and asked someone to make our smoothies... In the mean time, there was a couple who got there order but the lady questioned the size of her drink (very nicely) and the guy who made her drink assured her he was right and she was wrong (he never checked with the guy who took the order). After they left, he did check and she was right... She paid for the bigger drink. I think he should have just taken care of her in the first place instead of insisting he was right. 20 minutes and $15 later, I was less than impressed with the service or the flavor and there was no apologies for the long wait. read more
