I love this local store! One of my friends told me about it and I'm so glad she did! I stopped by and Tessa and Danny (sp?) helped me find all the items I needed and didn't even know I needed! I wanted some sage for my new office but since burning it might be an issue in my office building, Tessa suggested Rose Water as well. I also found some beautiful gemstones with helpful descriptions. I stocked up on pyrite, malachite, Labradorite, amethyst, rose quartz, and smoky quartz! I also found some cinnamon pinecones that were half off. I bought one bundle for work and one for home for decorations! I really like this store and plan on getting a gift card, maybe some tea and maybe some spices! Happy shopping!

This shop was recommended to me and I decided to pop in last Saturday to pick up some Elder berry for my daughter. Unfortunately they didn't have any, and they said that they don't know when they will have more. My 9 year old loved the feel of the place and even commented how the clerk looked "like a happy person". I picked out some tea, which I drank that night, and it is delish. My daughter liked the variety of rocks there and picked out a sharks tooth to go with her collection. I was bummed about the elderberry because we needed it and were excited to get it at their sale so I guess it would be smart to call first if you need a specific item. All in all, it is a cute place that has a large variety of herbs and other natural medicinal items.

During my frequent visits to New Orleans I always make way to my favorite herb shop Rosalie Apothecary in Mid City. Natural remedies are an important part of my self care and Rosalie has an incredible array of tinctures and herbs. I find ample options of herbs and citrus peels to add a unique flavor to my Yerba Mate tea (from my native land in South America) The shop is quaint, the staff knowledgeable and very helpful. They also offer incredible array of unique workshops. Ah, and I love their Digestive Bitter tincture blend!! I highly recommend it to those in search of natural healing options

Service is always excellent. Owner has been helping me heal for quite a long time. It's the only place I trust my health too.

Christiane was very kind and helpful in pointing a total ignoramus (me) toward products that my wife loved.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SPOT. One of the abysmal experiences I've ever had. First off,…read moreservice was rude. They only had meat po'boys named on their on-site menu, so I asked what po'boys they had. The staff pointed to the on-site menu as if saying "duh". I ended up ordering a soft shell crab po'boy, and in a few minutes they called my number and it was just soft shell crab. I told them that I ordered a po'boy and showed them my receipt and the guy who looked at it recognized the mistake. I then stood at the stall for another 15 minutes watching them make another sandwich that didn't end up being mine. The soft shell crab was just sitting their the whole time. Only when I addressed the staff a second time did they start working on it. They refried the same soft shell crab that was sitting on the work station for the past 15 minutes. I finally got the sandwich with no apology. The sandwich was, without exaggeration, the worst sandwich I've ever had and cost me $20. The bread to filling ratio was so off and made bites dry. The crab was just salty and must have been skinny because I had like two bites of crab that weren't just legs/claws. I'm not a pickle hater and I never noticed the pickles in other po'boys I've had if they had pickles. The pickles in this sandwich were really distracting, maybe because of the lack of other good flavors in the sandwich. Also, while I was waiting 20 minutes for the order that got messed up because of their mistake, two other patrons came up to the pickup area with their own complaints. One complained that they were waiting for 45 minutes for alligator bites and wanted a refund. The staff did not give them a refund immediately and just said "here you go" with an order of bites.

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.
