This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them. read more

They are all super friendly and help out in choosing something that you might want to try. Let's try something new like small baklavas of different flavors it's just like a dancing party in my mouth of chocolate. Pistachio, kenaf and even other flavors that it's just amazing. Expect to spend at a minimum $30 on the low end for 1 person and probably 50+ for 2 people. We spent like 68 but we bought a lot of stuff that we ate through out the week. Is definitely a treat. Crunchy Phyllo dough shreds, nutty pistachio butter, and creamy smooth chocolate shell (tip: it melts fast so do store it in the fridge if you don't finish it right away. Kanafeh is a blend between sweet and savory. The center is a stretchy and gooey cheese while the outside is golden and crispy shredded phyllo dough. It then drenched in a simple syrup and such a perfect duo of sweet and savory that you didn't know you needed. The nut assortment were so delicious I had to come back a second time for treats to take back home as gifts. I am obsessed with the taste and freshness and variety of Turkish delights from Royal Roastery, however would not recommend ordering them online. I am now living out of state and placed an order to Florida via 2-3 day shipping, I'm not sure why but there is a huge issue with shipping from Louisiana. The first time I thought it was a fluke because of weather issues but have now ordered 3 times and each time the package gets stuck somewhere and have had up to a 10 day delay. So if you are in the area this is a great spot but the shipping is a terrible experience, which is not their fault but something to be aware of. read more

I came across this emporium on my Instagram feed. The photos on there were enticing. When I arrived there I was surprised how big it was. They really have a lot to offer. The store was very clean . I ordered a latte and a pastry. Both were good but the service wasn't so good. The table I sat at was not very stable, I thought the top of the table was going to fall on me when I put my arm on it. Love this place! They let me sample anything. I got 2lbs of mixed nuts, so dedelicious. And I don't even like nuts like that. Mostly got it for my dad, but after sampling a whole bunch I decided to get a lb for me too. I also got some spices and tea. They had the vital Dubai chocolate, it was ok. A bit salty. They did have a tub of pistachio butter so I bought it and I'll try to make it at home. They also had amazing coffee to try. I would recommend coming here. The chocolate cup should be REFRIGERATED, I've never seen an establishment sell strawberries and chocolate hot ! Being that the cups are high volume it may be easier for the establishment to sell them HOT, but fruits are no good when they are HOT! The white royal chocolate bar was good. I spent $34 total on three things. The prices aren't bad . Service wise, I wish someone was helping out in the lobby instead of them standing at the register talking . Nothing in the store is labeled so you don't know what's what and you're not aware of the prices... the prices are pretty reasonable overall. The ice cream is the only thing with labels, none of the chocolate bars are label neither are the things in the case that's rolled . This place is unassuming, out of the way, but a hidden gem. It's probably a third the size of the Houston location but has much of the same. It's always fun to get their mayas crunchy peanut snacks, fresh baklava, and array of bulk chocolates. I will say the chocolate fillings here are better identified than their Houston location. I came ~40 minutes after they opened and they did not have any of the chocolate covered kanafeh available yet. It seems that they make it fresh and I couldn't wait around but hope to try it later as their kanafeh is delicious. If you're wanting to try that, I'd come around 1-1.5 hrs after they open. The staff are not the best at communicating/comprehending English but have a working ability and are very pleasant. They offered us a sample of their cardamom coffee which is unique, bold, but quite nice. If you have any coffee snob friends, Ive definitely gifted their cardamom Royal roast coffee and their spiced Saudi coffee blends. I found out about this place from a small bakery nearby. The owner said she uses fresh roasted nuts from Royal Roastery in her desserts. This prompted me to go visit the shop. As soon as I walk inside, my olfactory senses received an onslaught of delectable, savory smells that started my mouth to watering. The shelves are filled with beautiful displays of coffee wares, serving trays, spices. candies, chocolates, turkish delights and roasted nuts. There were so many options to choose from, I didn't know where to start. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. I find the prices very reasonable.
