DreamMaker originally did a nice job in gutting out my old bathroom in my bedroom and remodeling it…read morecompletely. Problems started when I had a leak at the base of my shower on the side with the shower arm and controls. The leak went into the basement and through the wall which caused massive damage to my brand new closet system in my walk in closet and the floor in there on the other side of the wall from the shower. I was left with over $5,000 in damages. I couldn't file an insurance claim really. I have renters that share my home with me and I had to evict a renter for severe damage to my basement and the basement bedroom he was living in. Due to the amount of damage we had to split it into 4 claims. So they told me if I filed another claim, I wouldn't be able to file anymore for 7 years. DreamMaker did agree to fix the problems but they told me it would take a few months because there was a back log on acquiring materials. They came out and caulked the area where the leak was because I had company coming and I needed the shower operational. It was my understanding that the temporary fix was good until they were able to repair it permanently. I was fine with that. A few months went by and there was no follow up from them at all. I sent an e-mail and 3 days went by so I contacted a lawyer to send them my intent to go to court. When I called for their fax number and the employee at DreamMaker realized what I was doing, they suddenly became very responsive. However, I had another representative call and say to me, we did everything we said we were going to do on the appropriate time schedule. You weren't supposed to be using the shower anyway. I felt like they were victim blaming and shaming me. If they somehow thought that would win my business again, then I don't know what the hell they were thinking. So the bathroom originally looked nice, but they're working on it right now and they tore out the shower and the tile floor they just put in. I know mistakes happen, but given the leak, the victim blaming and shaming, the lack of follow up, and their lack of concern for how much I pad out in damages, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

As we walked down the sidewalk, one of their workers was backing a pickup out of their client's driveway. He started moving in reverse and I waved to catch his attention, he didn't see me immediately and the truck kept moving. When I finally caught his eye and he stopped, I gave a "what the hell" hand gesture (not the finger) and kept walking. This isn't a big deal. It was when the fat supervisor in a yellow shirt who was standing around by his truck started telling me that "he stopped, it's no big deal." "he should have run you over" and "I wish he had hit your dog" that I figured people should know what kind of people you will be dealing with if you hire this company.

I won cause she checked and called and apologized for being wrong and took responsibility over permit! Then not a word. He wasn't following the correct protocol. Cause I had someone fo up and check cause I only seen one layer of taxpayers on top! Well it all blew off. So I'm having to sue them. After getting my hip replacement. They took advantage of me, handicapped with a walker all summer. Seinor citizen. He wanted the rest of the money up front. No freaking way, he tried 3 times to the entire cost, remaining money, 2,250! He tells me all this crap about how well they are doing the company is doing he don't even need the money they are doing so well! He wanted the rest of the money, contract says I would pay the balance when I saw the wood! They took away the lifetime guarantee be cause I wanted tar paper. He told me tar paper was fine, whatever u want Joe said. But when I demanded a full contract mine had nothing about the wood and stain NO DETAILS AT ALL. THEN I SIGNED THAT ONE UNDER DIRESS. I was feeling so bad that day and I said i want time to sign. He says NO has to be signed NOW IF FRONT OF HIM! SO this all a food case expect to win all the money back! They breached the contract. Now im left with fines coming up for the incomplete job. As well as i cant find anybody to finish which is basically terrible. I'm left with money I borrowed and can't get it finished now!!! I will have to sell my home of 40 yrs, which this place keeps me alive. I'll die in a seinor living hole. I'm so sad and depressed! Anybody have any suggestions? Thank you and Hes a landscaper all the pictures point to! Not a construction worker! They will request you to pay money upfront, and not show up to do the work, and the work they do is of extremely poor quality and incomplete. They literally have no clue what they are doing. They are simply thieves prying on people's trust. Their masterful skill is to steal your money and leave the job unfinished with poor quality. Combine that with being totally unprofessional, rude, verbally abusing their employees and customers. Don't fall for their thievery and avoid dealing with these people all together. Whatever they tell you or promise you is a lie. I would not trust any of the pictures on their website. There is no way these people can do any of this work in the pictures. Joe is not physically capable to do the work and Samantha is working full time and is not be able to do the work or supervise any of the employees they hire. Samantha is trying to run this company from her current work. I am shocked that her current employer is not seeing her unproductive day to day work. They should fire her so she can concentrate on ripping people off for a living because that is the only thing her and her husband are really good at. I plan on filing a lawsuit against them soon.

He called a couple days later and said he has been giving it some thought and if he could get another look, might be able to deliver the the better looking solution, done right, but at the lower price. They went through all the pros and cons of material and construction options with me so I could make the best decision for my needs and budget. They also provided written documentation of how they were going to do everything - details on how the support posts would be set, on the structure, and on the deck boards, etc, many of which were beyond what the local building code requires. And then they were able to deliver on what they said they would do. The new support structure for my deck is rock solid, I swear I could park a truck on it. Good communication with me throughout the entire process. And the finished product is beautiful. I went with a composite deck material. While not the least expensive quote that I had, they were competitive. I went with them because I wanted it done right and last many years, and I fee that they were able to give me that.

Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. I called roofing due to possible leak in upstairs back bedroom.

She is BRILLIANT at color and lighting, and does all of the legwork to find other materials that complement the project. She came back with a range of recommendations that all reflect what we discussed. (At the time I was redoing all of the rooms in a small home on the West side). Everything was completely affordable and in almost every instance I went with her suggestions. Shortly after doing all the work I put the house on the market and got RAVE reviews on everything. When I moved into my new home, we needed to paint and do a few other upgrades. Again, Cindy came to the rescue and ten years later, I'm still getting complements on the paint colors and other advice she gave me. She's now helping with a kitchen facelift, and I'm so grateful to have her guidance. I've learned a great deal about how to pick things and make them work together in the time I've spent with her. For big projects she'll always be the first person I call. Not that we agree on every detail, but she always gives me the "best practice" so that I have a foundation for making my choices.
