Some of you might be thinking, "Why not just disengage your garage door opener from the door, and open the damn thing manually?" And that's a great idea. However, it requires that the original installation was done properly. In my case... it was not. Thus the panic. My wife said that I would never be able to get the garage door fixed within the day, especially since we were in the midst of a city wide power outage. Thanks to the Yelp App and the mobile internet, I was able to find A2DS. Indeed, they were scheduling service calls a few days out, but when I explained my predicament, they were able to squeeze me in with an emergency visit within a few hours! The door did not get fixed that day, but the technician was able to work enough magic so I could free my car from its tomb. Then we were able to schedule a follow up visit to actually get the thing fixed. I wasn't even charged for the call. My heroes! As luck would have it, on my long list of to do items, was installing a new opener for the second garage door. So I was able to take care of that as well on the follow up appointment. The A2DS installation crew came as expected, made short work of the project, asked for my input when needed, and were able to complete the job for less than the originally estimated price! Now I have two working, modern, garage doors. Both are programmed into each opener, and I have new openers for each car. Plus there is a spiff new keypad on the side of the house, so I can open and close the doors manually. This all makes me more excited and happy than I had ever imagined! Oh yeah. There was one teeny tiny problem with the button inside the garage to open the old door. But after one quick call, and the problem was taken care of the following day. I recommend this company whole heartedly and without reservation. If you need a garage door, or a repair, give 'em a call.

A company that has an actual listed local physical location. 3. A company that is listed as an authorized installer by the manufacturer. 4. Very good customer reviews. 5. A detailed quote that enumerated the cost of each part should it have to be replaced. 6. I was texted the ETA of the repair person along with his photo. 7. ETA and cost was as quoted. 8. The repair person did not try to upsale me more than what was need to do the repair. I was so satisfied I asked them to also replace the torsion spring of my other garage door as preventive maintenance since both doors probably had been installed at the same time.

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They gave me several options that were available in that opening size, next I selected the one with a wood casement interior. The replacement was done with perfection. Had Mike come out to cover up a window…read more Honestly the thought of getting rid of a window never crossed my mind and we initially thought we would would move our window from one wall to another to open up the living room space since we have a living room layout that is a bit awkward. He came in with the idea of just covering up the window (especially since a window can be installed later if we wanted). Instead of making it a bigger profit job he focused on what is best for the layout even if it meant the job was smaller. The conversations with Mike have been very thought provoking and really made me focus on what is best for us rather than him just doing what I thought we wanted. We asked about a skylight for the bathroom since both our bathrooms don't have windows and he said he wouldn't as its the number one cause of leaks so he once again showed that he cared to make sure we are after peace of mind. So we ended up just covering up one window to move our entertainment center. He hired a drywall contractor (one with 42 years of experience) to make sure the wall looked seamless. Mike said you can do most of the job yourself pretty easy but the Dry Wall part is a work of art and it showed. I had a unique idea that since this was an exterior wall I wanted to build a PVC shoot for cabling for future proofing a TV hanging on the wall in case we had to change cables. The drywall contractor made it look so clean. Initially it was a 1 day drywall job but because it was cold the mud wouldn't set in time so they came back the following day to make sure it was done right. Truly couldn't be happier with the quality of labor. Mike's scheduling might be a little random at times but rest assured the quality is superb.

He wasn't the cheapest quote, but the slider he recommended was the highest quality out of all the other quotes, and with something I use multiple times a day, it seemed worth the investment. While the slider itself is amazing, the best part of the investment was the attention to detail and care Mike had for install- I have a 1920s home with original wood trim work, but in the addition where the slider is located, they put up standard white 80s trim. My plan has been to transition the addition over to the same feel as the rest of the house, so Mike custom stained the one I ordered to match what was already in the house, then took the time to trim it out in the same Craftsman style for a cohesive look. Install day was super easy, the team made sure everything stayed clean, and dealt with some surprises and challenges with the uneven walls of an old home. This is someone you can trust and will make sure they care for your own home like it's their own. When it's time for new windows, I'll absolutely have them come back out.

It is now January 2026 and they have never responded. Expensive install. Low-quality results. Zero accountability. Once they get paid, don't expect them to stand behind their work.
