A great after work spot for hand-dancing, steppin and line dancing. It's $6 before 7:00 PM; and…read more$7.00 after 7:01 pm during the week. The music covers all generations. So whether you're old school or new school/contemporary dancing, there's a spot for you. Do get there early ... parking is tight after 7/7:30 pm.

First off let me let yall know off top, this is a MATURE spot. I don't want to offend anyone but…read morethis grown and sexy is not a majority 25-35 year olds. More mature. However, this is one of the best places I have went to dance and have a great time. The building is in the cut as lodges are usually. I think there it a church service in that building or next to that building because I saw a church sign when I made my turn onto the street. The street is slanted upward, a hill if you will and you will think you are headed into a Friday the 13th movie at first but once you get up the hill and past the trees you will start to hear a hint of music. I noticed the mature playas with derby's on headed to the spot so I KNEW this was the spot lol. When I got in the cover charge was $10, I heard they have a happy hour AND the food was free. Fried chicken and potato salad (etc) my peoples food :) I didn't eat but my friends did and it seemed to be alright because I think they ate the chickens meat and soul (I saw NO MEAT left :)) The dance floor was packed all night. Small place but enough for people to do the newest line dances and hand dancing. Although it was more mature than myself they DANCE better than people half thier age. I was sweating like chicken George at a cock fight! It was FUN though! Noone judged you or felt too good to dance. There are many professional hand dancers that attend but they don't make you feel stupid. The drinks are cheaper ($5-7 range for the good stuff) but strong. So bottom line, if you really want to DANCE and laugh and have a good time then this is a good spot. Sometimes you just want to get away from the city life and this will be my escape.

You can find the menus online or if you call the staff is very polite and helpful. Monday- Friday there is a different lunch buffet menu each day, but week to week it is constant. It all sounds fabulous. A similar menu thing for dinner time as well, but more formal dress is required in the evenings. I couldn't try everything because of allergies, but others said the fish was fab, and I had more than one serving of the creole chicken. It was really tasty and the salad bar was great. There was also a chili and I think a chowder. The selection wasn't enormous, 2 proteins A fish and a chicken, Mac & cheese, pasta with andouille sausage, some veggie options, salad/s, sides. I can't remember exactly but round about that's it. I don't recall what day of the week it was- But limiting selection and making each day's menu different helps keep prices down. Also a plus. We got there right when it opened and by the time we left it was really busy. Beautiful building with fantastic sweeping views. Wish I had more photos. Gorgeous venue for a wedding or any special event. So long as you have access to base you can go here for lunch, I think it was $11.99. Made me realize I probably missed out while I was in the Army never having eaten at an officer's club, because I thought you had to be an officer to go. This is out of the way from where I work and live, but I'd recommend checking out the menu online to see which day has the food you'd most be interested in.
