After showing me to a room Mailove gave me the preparation instructions and provided me time to undress. When Mailove returned to the room she asked specific information regarding my service. She began the process and everything went well. She spoke to me during the process in a friendly and respectful tone. Mailove made sure I was comfortable during the waxing process. She is super sweet and friendly, and makes you feel so comfortable during your service. They use hard wax only, which is a strip free wax that is much gentler on the skin. You feel waaaay less discomfort with hard wax because it does not pull on your skin like the strips do. I usually see Lucy, I've seen Nikki quite a few times, and I recently had Kiki do my Brazilian. They all work at a perfect pace which allows them to efficiently wax you while also making it a quick process -- I always want to be done as quick as possible lol!! You can tell how much Lucy enjoys her business and her clients. She always goes over aftercare and what to expect after your service, even if you've heard it already. They also send out reminder emails a couple days after your service to remind you to start exfoliating then! The booking is online through Vagaro, it's very easy to book and cancel or reschedule if needed. I've booked last minute appointments a few times and have always been able to find one on short notice. They've got a rewards program which basically equates to a free wax per year. The place is always clean and bright, with happy music playing. The only thing I wish they had were walls that go all the way up to the ceiling to make each room completely private. Besides their waxing services for all genders, they also offer facials and skincare services. I haven't tried any yet but I will get to it eventually. Lastly, they are so so friendly and remember your face, your name, what you usually get done. The front desk employee is an absolute sunshine every time! I'm not upset that there are security measures in place to protect their employees. I'm upset that they cancelled less than an hour prior to my appointment for a reason that should have been obvious when I booked it, and now they are lying to try to keep me from getting a refund. What she could not get with the ear, she plucked and I could barely feel the plucking. She put a serum on afterwards and I was done.
