It rains so rarely where I live, it'd be a shame to be indoors all day. It'd be rad if they could open the roof on sunny warm days. Do I ask for too much? Imagine a really good indoor play structure. Like 3+ levels high! A small play area for tiny kids. Some video arcades and such. Some adult games like corn hole, shuffleboard table, darts, and such. A full restaurant and bar! A few cabana-type small rooms for parties or whatever. And it's not too loud!!! I was worried an indoor play area would be excruciatingly noisy, and not well ventilated. It seems like the space is big enough to suppress the kids' yelling, but not so big that the echoes impose. I guess the large space also helps keep the air from feeling stale, maybe they have added ventilation. The bathrooms are kinda small and I had to walk outside the main play area through the small lobby. The food is good, and they have a wide selection of beverages--including adult beverages! Free parking lot. The price is about what I'd expect for an indoor play structure, when we need to get out from the rain. PLUS there's all the other stuff. I guess the money I spend on food and beverage helps keep it open. I had fun cruising through the play structure with my 7yo and my 1-1/2yo. Some adults were conversing in groups, or alone engulfed in a book. If you have kids, go. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

I was invited to an event at this spot and was really impressed by the layout. You could literally host any type of party in this type of atmosphere. Normally, they offer kids classes and camps as well as adult courses. I'm not sure that I could hang (pun intended) but some of the classes include practicing handstands, working on parkour and perfecting your dynamic strength. They do offer drop in classes and memberships. Definitely would be a unique experience to try once or twice if you would be open minded. I will certainly come back and give it my all! My child was only allowed to participate in two out of the three sections. The substitute teacher banned him from the final section, abruptly stating he didn't "meet expectations." As the only minority family in the room, the lack of transparency and fairness felt extremely targeted and discriminatory. When we tried to politely communicate with her to ask for clarification, she showed absolute zero willingness to talk and exhibited a shockingly rude and hostile attitude toward us. This is completely unacceptable behavior for an educator working with young children. We felt targeted, unwelcome, and mistreated. I highly expect the management of Oregon Gymnastics Academy to look into this specific class and address this unprofessional substitute teacher.

Day one check in was perfectly smooth, the staff was organized and everything was on time. According to my daughter, class was super fun. Everyone kept their masks on and stayed safe. Check out was the same. Fast, efficient and friendly. Repeat for each day of camp. Truly the only issue I experienced was other parents being rude in the parking lot, as there isn't a lot of parking and people would just stop and block cars and not care about anyone but themselves. I'm guessing this is a regular occurrence because it is super hard to find a spot and not get your car hit by someone in a rush. Let me be 100% clear, this is not a reflection of OGA. And it's not their responsibility. But it is something I experienced all week in the morning and evening. I highly recommend the center for gymnastics. The coaches encouraged each girl regardless of their talent level. The other thing about the staff that stood out is that there were so many different body types of Instructor. They didn't all look petite and muscular. It was empowering for young girls to see that, because your body type doesn't dictate what you can or cannot do.

This has always infuriated me, but if it happens once or twice a year I can excuse it. However, twice!? It feels like being charged double. Again, I have no complaints with the instructors or product itself. In fact, I have ONLY POSITIVE things to say about them. My daughter loves her class! That said, I'd highly advise against putting your kid in a Monday or Friday class as most Holidays just tend to fall on those days and they will charge you for the missed classes regardless.

I checked my registration and it was clearly ninja so I called in and again was told I was wrong. I asked them to check again and they discovered that had made the error and I was told "that's too bad". Not exaclty the customer service I would expect when I'm paying that much. She does not demonstrate everything the kids in her class are supposed to be doing, leaving them wandering and lost half the time. She gives up on certain kids and just walks past them when they obviously need guidance. If you watch one of her classes, you'll see the kids eyes are wandering around the room half the time because she's not giving them clear instructions and keeping them interested. Do not sign your child up for Teacher Dorys level 1 class if you want them to learn anything!! They also delete reviews on their Instagram page!!
