Having had to travel for a good part of my career I have stayed in many B& B's. This place will stay in my top 10 for sure and definitely hope to make the pilgrimage at least once a year. The hostess and her husband are amazing people and in the conversations had you can tell they are very genuine and have a love for the place. I can only hope that their children take up the same affection and continue on. It would be a definite loss for Jonesville and anyone who is not experienced it.

But he also offered waffles and french toast on occasion. The table was set nicely every morning and with a bowl of fruit. And honestly, some of the best fruit I've had in a long long time, it was fantastic. Tea, coffee, and orange juice was offered. There was a drink fridge and a water dispenser always available. We asked about the house's history and he taught us all about it, and he knew a lot. Really cool. He and his family live on the third floor. We stayed in Julia's room, the only downstairs room available which had its own porch door and key which was nice. The host was great with offering places to eat and places to see. Super helpful. There was a TV in our room (I think there's one in each room). No cable, but there is Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu signed in. Only cons were that the house smelled like dog (three Scottish Terriers) and the shower didn't get very hot. At least in the room I stayed in, there were heaters in the floor which was super nice and helped keep warm. Overall, great stay and we really enjoyed it!

It is an historical house part of the underground railroad and I don't know what I was supposed to see. Being my first ever BNB. Nice owner that talks way too much and knows everything. Barefoot basketball shorts white tee-shirt. Un-kept. Again nice but ugh. So ..no real information about the place just his knowledge of all restaurants in the near fifty Mile radius. Breakfast waffles and Bacon first morning , French toast second morning, with his wife and child at the table with us. Feeling like we were intruding on their personal life. I continue, couldn't open the bedroom window it was too hard too. The floors gross, the plug in sprayers all over, gagging. Had to unplug ours way to much. I believe they have so many because they don't clean all the time and have the Scotty dogs. Which they house in the dining room. I could smell dog walking from their dining room to the staircase everytime. They live on the third floor so not sure why their personal decor is mixed in the antique and period pieces ??? There spread all over the beautiful mantels and buffets.. See pictures. The owners have lived in it for 24 years it was run by the father. The son who was probably in his late middle 40's is running it now with his wife and their son. He has a lot of knowledge about the house he just never gets to it he talks about other things besides the house. I learned why that location and who Mr Munro was and what he did for the town . One room they hid slaves in. That's it. So bummed You could ask him about the house but then you'd end up sitting there talking to him for a long time about other things. Maybe he is bored talking about the house or even caring at this point. I did read reviews all the reviews were spectacular I just am very particular about gross hair on my feet when I'm walking through a bedroom. I also don't know what to expect from a BNB. Since it was a historical house and they do do tours with the house be expected to be decorated in a certain way or would you expect to have their personal collection of ceramics on the mantle? I'm feeling just very disappointed about my choice and the information and the cleanliness of it it makes me sad.

It is located approximately a mile to the East of MI-127, down a gravel road, then a dirt road. It is truly secluded, with a beautiful view of the surrounding farmland. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the lovely couple who own and run the B&B. They were extremely kind and helpful. The home is beautiful, and the amenities are excellent. Hot water for showers, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, A/C, and several spots to sit and relax. Each morning, a breakfast is provided. It is outstanding. Very hearty, and beautifully plated. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and recommend this spot for visitors to the town, or those looking to get away.

My first time at Nuance Naturist was better then I could have ever imagined. The environment was calming, safe and absolutely beautiful. We loved swimming in the pond, using the movie theater, solarium and having an incredible breakfast with a view on the deck every morning. Bill, Jan and the other guests staying there were all very kind, accepting and positive. We felt so comfortable around everyone and that made the experience even that much more wonderful. I love to explore and this site came up on Yelp when looking for things to do close to Pokagon State Park. It did not disappoint. The facility was a few miles from the Park. It's a short drive from the highway or Angola and just outside of Fremont. Nothing too far. The entrance was well marked and to her to the site you drive down a long graveled lane. There is ample parking just outside the gift shop which connects to a small cafe that serves Buffalo burgers with chips. There are restrooms located close to the parking lot which make it very convenient. A wood chipped walkway leads to the gift shop entrance where tickets can be purchased for a bumpy truck trailer ride into the field. There riders are just feet or inches away from the bison herd. It is evident the staff love their work and the animals they care for and/ or support. From the young, pleasant gentlemen in the gift shop who ran to ensure we didn't miss the last tour, to the cafe attendant who upon request gave free apples to young attendees, to our guide, "Three Paws", who lovingly answered all questions and provided detailed information about the bison. The relationships between everyone was friendly and familial-like. The star of the show; however, are the bison. Getting to see this once endangered animals up close and personal is rare. Knowing the part they played in history took me back to a time long ago. It is obvious the owner recognizes their importance and is doing his part to preserve it. Kudos to him and his staff. The hosts were warm and friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the big front porch. Walking distance to the Stable restaurant was a bonus. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Blissfield. Highly recommend!
