WOW is all I gotta say. Having to be my first time at Rose Land AND my very first ever Tattoo, I couldn't have expected more from my tattoo artist Colby Chesterfield, and the rest of the Rose Land Tattoo team. Being a newbie on this fine art, I was really nervous about getting a tattoo. It is something I've been contemplating for a long time, but from the moment I made my appointment to the time I walked in and Colby greeted me, everything changed and gave me such great sense of tranquility to assure me this was the place to get tattooed at. Although I wasn't very talkative (because I was nervous) Colby made my experience so much serene & relaxing. Not a single minute of silence passed before he was either conversating with me or the other tattoo artist while having me engaged in the conversation. He sure made my first time experience a top notch one. Last but not least, and the obvious one, Colby's work sure surpassed my expectations of what I originally wanted (see pic). After I had pitched the idea of the design I wanted, he suggested a couple of different approaches we could do. I let him put his fine artistry to work. Colby sure wowed me with the final product even though is was subtly different from my original idea, but his final work, was definitely a million times better. Unquestionably, I will go back to get a 2nd and perhaps a 3rd tattoo of other designs I have in mind for the near future. I'ved been here several times( 2021,2024 )already and I must say there very , friendly. They have good vibes and the customer service is on point. When I came here in 2021 for the first time I got some lettering writing on my upper leg and then a dagger that goes through a rose (already had done by female tattoo artist Cervena Fox.... Google it ). The artist Colby did the honor of adding the dagger to my rose and added color to it. Which I was very nervous to get in that area (ribs) as I'm shy to show my body. lol . But I still did it and it felt like an adrenaline with nerves at the same time it meant a lot to me to get this tattoo. That the pain felt more like a release of emotions and therapeutic. Colby was very respectful and professional as he always is every time I get a tattoo. Which that is very important when going to a shop and getting any tattoo. So I recommend this place that has good tattoo artist and very reasonable pricing. Now it depends of the size, color, picture and negotiation with the chosen artist. This is by far the nicest tattoo shop I've visited. By nicest, I mean the place AND the people! All the guys are really courteous and friendly. They didn't have attitude like some other places I've visited. Tattoo shops can be intimidating but I felt very comfortable the entire time. There is a couch in the front so you can sit and browse albums to get a feel of each artist and their style. Also, there is a lot of art on the wall which showcases their experience and range. I have been following the artists on social media for quite sometime but it was great seeing their work in real life. Their business profile says appointment only but they were still welcoming without one. It was nice to check out the vibes before making a commitment.
