Tucker is so great! Even with my small, simple tattoo, she made the most basic questions about design and placement feel somehow more affirming and validating about my reason to get this tattoo. Her excitement for art and design was so fun, I left with a plan to build on this arm and of course going back to her for all of it. The fact she did my little tattoo after a humongous, detailed tattoo at the end of the day also says something about Tucker's professionalism and reliability. I got a killer klown tattoo here from genesis first off the environment alone is wonderful everyone is super friendly and make you feel right at home! I spent the day with genesis and she has such a light hand and pays really close attention to detail I think by far my favorite tattoo on my body! I came here to get my first big tattoo. Done by the amazing Alejandra or @tattoos_chacha on IG. She is an amazing artist who worked hard to get to where she is and it shows in her work. She is honestly the coolest and she makes you feel so comfortable, never an awkward moment. We watched a movie and a whole tv show and she totally distracts you from the pain of the tattoo. Manor no 9 is an incredible shop. I am so proud to wear Ben Ochoa's work, he is a creative, professional, legend of a tattoo artist. Ben is "light handed" and a great conversationalist so time flies by. I am writing this review because I am working on a Khaleesi portrait that is a ways from being done and people stop me regularly to comment on it. It's an unfinished tattoo and I literally have a conversation with strangers about it daily. I have never felt "cheated" by the price of any session. So to the girl complaining about the price she paid an artist at manor for her work- IT IS ON YOUR BODY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, spend the money. You get what you pay for. Ben Ochoa, who's also the owner, has been working on my sleeve for awhile and he is the most professional artist I've ever met. He's extremely talented with his work and is very friendly, never rude. I've known Ben Ochoa for about a year now and he has been working on this piece for me since. Came here for my very first tattoo and I was definitely not disappointed. Ben is super professional and super friendly. I was so nervous leading up to the appointment but Ben and his wife helped me calm down. Ben fully explained everything and took his time with me. Ben is also very clean. If I could give no stars I would. I don't want to come off too strong or spread rumors however I feel like I have to let others know my experience so it doesn't happen to anybody else. Jase Alva @jase_alva tattooed me and screwed me over, maybe because I'm a woman, who knows.. A friend referred me so I went to him, he charged me $1200 to outline about 8 traditional butterflies. The person who referred me thought it was ridiculous as well. I felt like I was completely taken advantage of. It doesn't take that long to do small outlines. Just thought I'd get the word out so he doesn't have the opportunity to take advantage of anyone else. I don't know if it was intentional but I thought I'd share the facts. He blocked me before we could talk further about it..then he heard I was giving my opinion and instead of trying to alleviate the situation he threatened to sue me. Which, fine, go ahead because I'm not spreading lies. Just giving facts and my opinions. I would never ever recommend this place. read more
