It took her about a week to complete and it was PERFECT when I got it back. The bride went with me to pick it up after alterations, and she said it was the best looking bridesmaid dress out of the group (other bridesmaids had taken their dresses elsewhere for alterations). Another bridesmaid took her dress elsewhere and the seamstress butchered the dress-- breast pads put in the wrong place, too much length taken off the bottom, and it was cut crooked. I suggested she take the butchered dress to Sarah. Sarah worked her magic and fixed that dress. The placement of the inserts were corrected. She fixed the uneven length on the dress, although my friend had to wear flats to the wedding because of how much length the original seamstress cut off. Overall, the bridesmaid and the bride were both happy with Sarah's corrective work. If I lived in the area, I would religiously use Sarah for all of my alteration needs!

I did not get her name, but she was extremely rude, confrontational, and aggressive throughout the interaction. Another employee assisted me, and I simply asked for my clothes so I could leave. As I was leaving, the older woman said, "Yeah, you better leave. I responded that I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because of the unprofessional customer service I had experienced. She replied, "Go ahead, my son owns this cleaners." I then told her that she needed to learn how to treat customers with respect. Her response was, Your mother. I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from a business. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable, and I was genuinely concerned that a child was handling customer transactions. Rather than addressing my concerns respectfully, the grandmother chose to argue and insult me. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. This business has been in Clayton a very, very long time...long before the Clayton population boom. I have used and will continue to use their services. They do charge up front, but you can use your imagination and figure out why...it's not personal or an assault on your character. They have been kind to me over the years, but they serve a tough crowd...a crowd that certainly enjoys talking down to them and sometimes can be downright rude.
