I am only giving 1 star for friendliness. But I was just rejected a regular manicure because she told me I had gel nail polish on and she was unable to take it off. This is honestly so strange to me considering the fact that they carry gel polish. read more

I've been coming here for fifteen years and won't go anywhere else!! Super clean, AMAZING SERVICE, and mani/pedis last forever!! Plus, I have very sensitive skin and the wax they use has never made me break out (unlike most other places)... Cathy (the owner) is fantastic, and so is the rest of the staff! At first I thought Rose's could TAKE the reservation but not KEEP the reservation, and this was going to be a not so good experience. When I arrived, someone named Jan took my appointment (I am JEN!), so I had to wait a bit past my time. However, once the manicure started, I was in heaven. Such great attention to detail, and so relaxing. And added bonus, as I was walked over to the drying station and sat down, I got a 5 minute back massage - AMAZING. I am writing this on Wednesday- and I had the manicure on Saturday, and it still looks great! I have never had one last that long before! Will definitly go back if I am in the area! This is the place to go if you want a small town feel, prompt service and a personal connection with the owner, Kathy. Entire family going here for years. Pre-pandemic, Kathy would always thank her customers with a hug. She always asks about my husband, and both my adult children and takes a real interest in their lives. During the pandemic, you really must make an appointment- Kathy is doing most or all of the work herself and only allows two or three customers at a time in her small quaint shop. read more

Not good at all. Barely 1 min of massage on feet for pedicure. The chair was not even reclined and no massage for my back. Nail in one toe chipped on the next day. They charged mani & pedi only $2 less than the regular price for my 10 years old and acted like they gave me a huge discount. Regulars seem to like this place but not for a new customer. read more

The staff was very friendly and efficient, even giving me a shoulder massage once I sat down at the drying station. I went here the day of a relative's wedding in Tarrytown. I made an appointment the day before and had no problem getting in. The lady who did my nails was so sweet. I got a french manicure and she did an awesome job. Great attention to detail. The best manicure I've ever had, though i've only had a handful. It was also pretty inexpensive. read more

I got the mani/pedi monday-thursday special & was pretty disappointed at how weak the massage portions of it was. My person basically just rubbed some lotion on my hands and feet, and never actually massaged... Then the paint chipped off the next day. I don't plan on going back- $25 to get my nails filed and sit in a massage chair is a bit steep. At least the place place seemed clean. read more

I love this salon. I've been going there regularly since I moved to Tarrytown 7 years ago. They always do a great job, treat me like a valued customer and friend, and the price is right! If you want a particular beautician to work on you, do make an appointment with her, or be prepared to wait. I think some of them are more in-demand than others. read more

Clean, inexpensive, lasted a long time. They had trouble keeping an appointment i made for 3 people a couple weeks ahead of time but did end up taking care of us. One star off because one massage chair was broken and they were all old (but still clean). It's a small place but good for a quick mani/pedi. read more

Just got a manicure and pedicure on a Monday night and it was a wonderful experience! Kim did my nails and her attention to detail was amazing. Decent color selection (OPI, Essie) too. While the massage during the mani was brief, the neck/shoulder massage while my nails were drying definitely made up for it. I would go back and request Kim again :) read more

HORRIBLE!!! I had a mani-pedi and the not only did the paint chip off the next day ... but I developed an infection from this nail salon!!! I had to spend the next week on antibiotic. In all my years of having my nails done I have NEVER developed an infection. Terrible experience. read more
