We ended up getting the green tea spa pedicure and while it was a bit on the pricey side, it is definitely worth the money. This nail salon is hands down the best i've ever been to. They used fresh tools straight from the sealed packaging which right away made my decision feel like the best i could have made. The nail tech were very kind and she had a sort of perfectionist way about her. I made an appointment through yelp and came in a bit earlier. I arrived just after 4:30 on a weekday and no one else was waiting, so I took the chance even though previous reviews mentioned the importance of an appointment. I'm not sure if it was because I was new or just getting a regular manicure and not the powder/gels they specialize in, but I wasn't seen until 5:20, nearly an hour after I arrived. They took three additional people that came in after me, before me. By that time, I only had time for a polish change and not a full manicure, for which I was charged $8. The staff was friendly enough, which is why I gave two stars, but I certainly wouldn't return. The place was... clean enough, but hardly sparkling. And, as expected, I suppose... my nails began chipping the very next day, and within days, I've had to remove the polish altogether. I ask for a cut and the first one was good. Not sure what happened after that because the rest of my nails were cut so short there is absolutely no natural tip to them. It is beyond uncomfortable and then my skin was cut and bleeding. I am extremely unhappy. An hour and a half later , my nails have marks on them but I didn't have time to argue as I just spent my evening there. Unless you trust one of the people, you may want to reconsider. I have been looking forward to going to this salon for a while since I heard about SNS nails. Their Facebook page has lots of pictures that show off their amazing work. We came here for my girlfriend's bday and soon realized they they do not disappoint!! They were not only efficient and sweet as can be, but they also payed very close attention to detail. I have extremely short nails from a horrible nail biting habit, but they were able to make them look absolutely fabulous. The SNS nails are only $35 and well worth the quality. It is also much healthier for your nails. The pedicure was amazing too, they give you a lot of choices that all include callous remover. I really want to go back to try the ear candling. UNPROFESSIONAL! I have been coming to this salon for a while, and I typically get acrylic nails which come out just fine. They charge extra for the shape of your nail which in my opinion is ridiculous. The last time I visited the salon, I decided to get powder on my real nails. I asked for square shape (multiple times) and the woman who was filing my nails messed up countless times and didn't even give me the shape I wanted-- only nails way shorter than I wanted. The red powder dip she used was stained all over my fingers and when I asked her to remove it, she told me aggressively to wash my hands. The red stains are still on my nails. There are stains underneath my fingernails, and on the tips of my fingers. My nails look nothing like what I asked for and she was rushed and trying to get me finished to help a new customer. They are VERY aggressive when you do not have cash to tip with, which is extremely uncomfortable. I will never come back to this salon, and as much as I love supporting local businesses this one is not one I can support any longer. read more

My absolute favorite place to get my nails done. I drive all the way from Jersey to come to this salon. Every single person here is incredibly talented and does a great job. My nails are never bulky (especially near the cuticles) and I never have issues with chipping/cracking even though I work with my hands everyday. Disappointed. Before going here, I hadn't been to a nail salon in 2 years because I haven't had great experiences when getting my nails done. This place was rated #5 of all nail salons in Westchester so I hoped I would have a good experience. I had a reunion trip with my friends I hadn't seen in a year, so I decided to get acrylic tips again for the special occasion. I scheduled an appointment for a full set of acrylic tips with gel polish. Once I got there, I had to wait over half an hour until they were ready for me, even though I scheduled an appointment ahead of time. I got my nails done 2 days before my trip and the nails began breaking apart or falling off completely after only 5 days of getting them done. I was so disappointed because a full set is supposed to last 3-4 weeks. I really only wanted it to last for the duration of my trip and was sad that it didn't even last 1 week. With the remaining acrylic nails I have now, they keep breaking off starting from the cuticle, so my hair gets stuck in the nails every time I try to put my hair in a ponytail or shampoo my hair in the shower. They didn't push back my cuticles when I got my nails done, so maybe that has something to do with it. I was really hoping for a good experience after the horrible experiences I've had with nail salons in the past. Unfortunately, my nails didn't even last a week so I think it's time I give up on nail salons entirely and stick to painting my own nails at home. read more
