I asked the manager when I made the appointment for the polish to be gently soaked off. He said yes that is ok. I arrived, stated again that request to hand remove the gel polish. Vickie said yes. Then after less than a minute of soaking Vickie grabbed the drill/grinder because she said the polish was too hard. I stopped her, she then scraped at my nail with a hard emory board scratching my skin. When it hurt, I asked her to slow down and be more gentle, she would start with the drill and complain it was too hard. So I told her that previous manicurist would soak the nails longer and gently scraped off off the polish. Anyway, she broke two nails and ended up cutting off weeks of growth. I will never step inside this location again.

The owner seems nice but I only had maybe one interaction with him. The instruments don't ever look very clean, every time I've come they have me sit at a station and it's covered in dust, nails and dirty towels. I don't think I've ever seen them grab a fresh towel before starting on me. I got acrylics done the last visit before this one and he made them very thick, the acrylic also wasn't laid completely flat on my nail bed. So It was frustrating because I kept getting stuff stuck between where the acrylic and nail had gaps afterwards. This last time I came, I got my acrylic removed and just wanted a regular polish. The girl who worked on me was pretty much burning my fingers with the drill when removing the acrylic, I tried to hang in there but eventually had to ask for her to take it a little easier. She was on a call for about half of the time and when I got my polish and left, I noticed my nails weren't filed evenly and the polish didn't cover my nails completely in some areas. I don't like making a fuss about those things so I just left it alone but sadly this will be the last time I come here. It's pricy getting nails done now a days so I really don't want to pay a forth time for the same experience again. I was just hoping this place lived up to the hype I read about but it's not the place for me.

Emily put a full set of lashes on my eyes when salons opened after lock down. I didn't know that this was a special one time price. Fast forward, Emily filled in my lashes several times and they were awesome every single time. I ended up having to quarantine with different family members a few times due to COVID and missed having my lashes filled in. By the time, I could come back I needed another full set but Emily wasn't available. They booked me with someone else and I didn't even ask what the price was. I just assumed it would be the same or close. Nope, when it came time to check out I was told it would be $145. I spoke at length with Jason and maybe he was having a bad day but he basically told me that they had plenty of business. He did end up giving me $15 off and I left. When I got home I was surprised when I really looked at my lashes and saw what a shoddy job had been done on them. I was disappointed but just decided to let it go. Less than a week later almost every (much more expensive) lash was gone. I paid a lot more for my second set of lashes here and they were a complete waste of money and I, too am a small business owner. If you do decide to use this salon for lashes, ask for Emily and just wait until she has an opening. She is great and takes her time to make sure you leave happy. They are lucky to have her. I hate that I can't go back to her but I can't support this business again. Jason answered my review on Google but never tried to contact me so I had no idea that they would try to fix the shoddy lash job. I had barely any lashes left (they were not very full to begin with but I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings) in just a few days. I actually had friends ask me why I hadn't gotten my lashes done because everyone had gotten used to how great they looked. I never one time had this problem when Emily did my lashes. Again, if you are looking for a place to have your lashes done, I would suggest you look elsewhere. My hair stylist gave me several recommendations today and I, of course, told her my story.

I love that they have a kids menu on their regular menu so bring the youngsters with you, or just come by your self and relax.
