Megan is hands down one of the best tattoo artist there is!!! Her flowers are just amazing! I was looking for someone who does realistic flowers and birds to do a memorial piece for my mother who passed away in 2021, and she popped up on my instagram feed, I loved her floral realism and I set up an appointment with her for a consultation and told her what I wanted. I was very impressed with her shop. It was very clean & beautiful! she was very nice and accommodating. We also talked about the numbing cream, which I used, and it is wonderful! She designed and tattooed a beautiful memorial piece for my mom on my upper arm and she really listened to what I wanted, the flowers and hummingbird look so realistic and vibrant! They look just like the flowers my mom used to grow! I love it so much! She also did a cover-up/remodel of an old tattoo I had on my back shoulder, it was a piece I had done for my anniversary and it was never quite what I wanted. I really wanted it to be brighter and more realistic also I wanted a few more flowers added, and Megan crushed it! It's amazing and I am totally in love with it! I think this is a case of megalomania. 9 months ago, I met with Megan. I expressed my concern with booking two appts almost a year out as my work schedule can be unforgiving and she assured me that it would not be a problem and she was flexible. I also shared with her my anxiety and how this tattoo was one of symbolic meaning for my mother who is sick and the loss of my uncle abe sister. I asked her if I could see it well in advance bc I was not sure what I wanted and knew I would be a difficult client and she assured me that I would be a part of the process which was what I wanted. Fast forward a week and a half before the first appt in August. I emailed Megan because my work had me scheduled for out of town for the second appt in Sept and I needed that flexibility. I also asked about seeing it as my anxiety was getting the better of me. Well, I received a very nasty email from Megan and to quote her "I am confused on why you would schedule appointments with me if you don't have any faith in my ability to design and execute a tattoo according to your requests." Faith?? This is a permanent tattoo that needs to be actually what someone wants to have for the rest of their life. During the consultation, I had so many ideas and she did not want any screen shots. She stated any changes could be made before the appt, well of course at 225.00 an hour, she will sit and redo the art work. She then retaliated and said that the only date she has available for my Sept date would be May of 2024. So I called my boss and worked out coming back in town early to make the Sept appt. I let Megan know that I would be at both appts. She then cancels both appts, stating,I feel we are not in alignment and I do not feel good or confident about working with you.  Now, I am not surprised bc she did not seem like she had ever tattooed over stretch marks and she was very hesitant about it in the consultation so I am not surprised that she was not able or confident to handle a tattoo covering stretch marks. If you book with her, just be ready to deal with God's complex and retaliation for asking about something that you are paying for. It is sad because this was such a sentimental piece but glad that I get to use someone that truly cares about their customer. Two stars for a clean shop in a nice area. read more

I don't know how I have yet to tell the world how amazing Megan is. A badass all around in artistry and did so much to advocate for small business during the unconstitutional lockdown. I got my first tattoo with her in 2017. I wanted a sprig baby's breath and a cross. She was so responsive in emails, professional, telling me all about the tools she uses and cleanliness and what to expect. We met first to do a deposit and go over goals. When I came in for the tattoo she showed me 3 designs she came up with and it felt so special choosing the one I did knowing that no one else would have that. It has been a few years and the color still looks vibrant. Healing went smoothly. I'd recommend her to anyone. A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: Megan has days with specific times where she can meet and discuss design for your tattoo so be sure to call in (or email) and find that out first as it will save you a trip. She is extremely busy so expect a wait list. If you want a same day tattoo that really isn't going to happen. TLDR: If you want a really great first tattoo and you don't want to skimp on it this is absolutely the place to go. I'm a big stickler when it comes to things in my life now. For me I don't like doing things half-assed anymore. Since I've been wanting this specific tattoo for about 18 years now and there are so many more things I had to adult at before I could get this tattoo and not feel guilty. But I've been blessed, and I feel like this is my year so it was time treat myself. That being said I wanted my first tattoo not to be good, but exceptional. Megan from Rose Noir is the person who I felt could do this and she delivered in spades. She is a true artist and the tattoo is exactly what I wanted. We had a little bit of back and forth on specifically what I wanted in terms of my tattoo and she was very responsive and helpful to fit my needs. The shading on the scales just makes me smile (and there are a few hundred of them.) The amount of small details she was able to work in were really awesome, and as I'm more of a fan of very small/intricate work she really delivered where I don't think others could have. (If I don't update the picture I took of my tattoo it's important to note that what looks like flaws on the paw is actually tissue paper that got stuck on my tattoo as I was cleaning it the first time) read more

This has to be to most AMAZING experience I have ever had! Megan is beyond fenomenal and extremely kind. I had a previous tattoo that I was not in love with and went to Megan to help fix it. She was able to take my old design and create a beautiful cover up! She really took time to understand my vision and incorporated her own professional ideas. Megan provided two designs before had and allowed me to choose between both and also mix-and-match to have something that I absolutely love. Even further, 20 minutes before my design she allowed me to look over small details and change them before anything became permanent. After my initial consultation we scheduled the appointment for getting the words "simplify, simplify" on my right wrist. I was nervous on the day of my appointment since this was my first tattoo, but Megan was so kind and thoughtful which eased my nerves. The whole process was clean, sanitary and fairly painless! I was always hearing stories of getting tattooed and how it can be painful, but in the end, it was not a big deal at all and Megan ensured it wouldn't be. She is so easygoing! She used a little numbing cream in the middle of the session which I was grateful for. But I have to say this was one of the least painful tattoos I've gotten! Megan is so awesome! My cousin and I went to get our tattoo earlier today. Megan is very friendly and nice. Her shop is very clean and cozy. It is by appointment which is so cool because it will be a private session with her. She is very open about tattoo choices, and will be honest and tell you her opinion. Other artists will just let you get a tattoo without telling you the cons (area of the tat, fading, etc) so that they get the money. I will definitely recommend Megan. read more
