The area became very painful, swollen, irritated, and started imbedding in my ear. I eventually went to another professional piercer, who had to remove the jewelry and explained how badly the piercing had been done and how much damage it caused to the area. This was a painful and stressful experience, and I would not recommend this location at all. I have photos of the piercing and the jewelry after it was removed. She made me feel super comfortable and we laughed and joked for my whole 4 hour session. It actually went by so much faster than I thought! She checked on me throughout my session asking if I needed a break to drink water or have a snack and it makes all the difference to get through a longer session!
