This is the second time I have experienced this problem with ROSM including previously in July with another doctor in the practice. Both times I was taken to an examining room in a timely manner and was left to wait in the room. After over 30 minutes, I left the room and spoke to one of the staff to ask if there was a problem. Both times I was told that the doctor was with another patient and would be in to see me in a while. My first complaint, therefore, is that it is not the patient's responsibility to determine why there is a delay. The doctor should instruct his/her staff to let the patient know that there is a delay and what are the patient's alternatives. Both times the staff person apologized for which I appreciate their apologies. An apology by a staff person, however, does not indicate that there will be any change in how waiting patients are informed of delays. On September 12, 2024, the staff person told me that the doctor was in a room with no clock, which is not an excuse but demonstrates poor planning by the doctor. Therefore, my second complaint is that the ROSM Washington, DC office is poorly managed and fails to properly plan appointment times for patients. I will not be returning to this practice for any reason.

He did a very thorough evaluation and put together a plan based on where I was physically and my goal to run in a specific race. He gave me aggressive but doable exercises and helped me put together a running plan, adjusting it as needed based on my pain level and feedback. The 2 or 3-times a week PT sessions were organized and allowed for flexibility based on how I was feeling. Highly recommend both Trey and Pivot.

He'd juggle 3 patients at once (nobody else at the clinic did this) and even when he didn't have this many patients I was alone while he was on the other side of the clinic or he just disappeared completely. When I brought up concerns about pain (not muscle pain or soreness), he'd just brush off my concerns and rush through my questions. Older reviews mentioned how friendly the pts are but this was not my experience. Chris was nice at first but then was checked out. Most of the time he was either glued to his computer looking at restaurant menus or chatting with his friends who came to see him. The final straw was hearing him make completely inappropriate comments.

I also appreciate that the focus here depends on the patient/client needs and interests. Some PT's simply don't have the ability to do this. They change weekly and daily sessions' exercises and therapy as needed, and they know, because they are asking the questions to be asked as related to your lifestyle needs and goals. At this point many small business are getting paid HALF of what their cash only / self pay only counterparts are getting paid. Also- keep in mind, an insurance contract doesn't increase with inflation, cost of living, rising employer salaries etc.... It seems a bit tone deaf for an Orthopaedics' office to move to a building with no elevator from the garage to the lobby. So if you can't do stairs, get dropped off in front. The new office isn't as cozy as the old one and feels a bit sterile. No me gusta. Dr. Sheer - I've been going to Dr. Sheer since 2015 and have no issues with him.
