When I was shopping for market place insurance I found many agents from big name companies have fudged the truth and in some cases flat out lied. I literally almost gave up hope but Maggie was there every step of the way and made me feel confident. The one thing I love about Maggie she is very knowledgeable and looks after your interest not hers. Other agents I was turned off to the fact they were high pressure and didn't seem too interested in spending too much time. I know most agents don't make a lot of commission selling health care and explains why most are quick to close the sake and move on, Maggie was more interested in making sure I felt comfortable with the policy. Fortunately I have never had to file a claim with Shewchuck but I know that if I did, they would be my first call and they would be my advocate. The agent, Doug Methner, has years of handling casualty claims during his time working at both corporate and agency positions before being placed into his own agency in Glenview. Staff member, Nayri, has also been with the agency for well over 5+ years and she has a lot of experience and extremely knowledgeable about the insurance policies' coverages and the different benefits/riders. Both of them go above and beyond, and you can expect them to offer you great service long after the sale. I personally have been a customer of this agency for the past 5 years, and they handled everything from my motorcycle/auto insurance and homeowners insurance (trust me, the 17% multi-line discount really makes a difference). They are very fast in obtaining a quote, and literally takes 15 minutes on the phone. The best part is that they give you a solid, and accurate quote; as long as you were honest, and everything is disclosed at the time of the application, you can be confident in the quote they give you. I also have been keeping and funding a small Universal Life policy over the course of my time with the office, and it's served as a great policy to take a quick short-term loan from, such as my 2012 NYE vacation. But the true value with State Farm products, in my opinion, is their State Farm Bank. When I turned 18, they were the first to issue me a State Farm Student Visa, my first credit line. Since then, they have issued my first AND second motorcycle loan (and offered me better interest rates as my credit improved). As a result, I am nothing but loyal to State Farm Bank; I have all my deposit accounts through them as well. If you take a look at the interest rates on their money market accounts (offering +0.30% depending on the balance) vs. JPMorgan Chase (offering 0.01%), it's a clear choice which bank is stronger. Pretty much all of their deposit products offer an exorbitantly higher interest rate than any brick and mortar bank. AND they don't charge any ATM fees in addition to refunding all your third-party ATM network fees if you have direct deposit. If you don't, they'll refund upto $10/month, and considering that they don't charge you any ATM fees to begin with, that's more than what any other bank does. I would strongly suggest that you get your foot in their door just so you can at least be educated as to what this company can offer you. The staff is not pushy by any means, and they offer solid and sound advice for all of their insurance and financial products. You don't need to have insurance with State Farm to apply for their car loans, credit cards, bank deposit accounts or home loan mortgages, so get in touch with them today. I know this is a pretty lengthy review for an insurance agency, but the point of the matter is, I appreciate good service, and I have received nothing short of great service from this agency; would recommend to friends and family any time, any day.

Yes I will admit I have had some issue with Statefarm, but Doug and staff was right there to clear things up. I met Doug when he was following up on a customers car that was at my facility. It was through that conversation and dealing with Doug that his honesty and integrity is what he stood for. It wasnt about Statefarm it was about his customer and what was right or wrong. I read the 1 start review and have to comment on that. I have multipal houses, vehicles and play toys insured through Doug's agency and the botton line is when you receieve the policy it states what your coverage is. So just my opinion, but anyone that doesn't take a quick review of their policy and what their signing is truely the guilty party and to place blame on the agency is hard for me to understand.
