Last Friday 6.14.2024 about 4PM, I went in to ask if someone could look at my vehicle. I told the gentleman at the service desk that my vehicle was popping up various codes and having trouble starting. He took a look at my exterior, more specifically, my vehicles sensor. He sprayed a microfiber cloth about 20 times, wiped my sensor with disgust (I had about 12 hours of non stop driving and returned to work.. I didn't have enough time for a car wash), and proceeded to tell me this was normal and it should work fine now. Well they are closed on weekends. The next day, my vehicle was unable to start. My whole entire weekend was changed because I had to wait over an hour for someone to show up with jumper cables. The following day, I went to autozone and got a new battery, because again, the battery was dead. Guy at the Roseburg Honda service desk did not offer to check my battery, alternator, or nothing. He just sent me away after wiping down my sensor. A friend of mine installed my battery for me and it is working just fine. I am more so frustrated because I had plans to volunteer this weekend, organizing food for local food pantries. read more

I don't have the heart to give them one star...but we will not return to Roseburg Honda (RH). The last three times we have taken a vehicle there for repair, the job is not completed, despite their insistence that all areas are addressed. The most recent issue being that the doors on the minivan do not close appropriately...and an alarm sounds/car unable to start because doors are still slightly ajar. Asked RH to fix the doors, among a few other things. When my husband went to pick up the car, he closed the doors (which did run smoother as a result of their work); however, when he went to start the car, the alarm sounded and car couldn't start. RH told us the car worked fine when they test drove it for two miles. We asked them to review the issue (again) and they wanted another $1000 (on top of the several thousand we had just paid)...but this was something they were supposed to fix from the beginning! We have tried, Roseburg Honda...but this family will not return. Our patronage will not be missed, I'm sure, but it is frustrating to experience expensive repairs that don't quite get fixed. It appears others have had better luck with RH...that is good to see. read more

Went in to look at a car that I had been eyeballing online. I had been checking out Civics and Accords for a bit. I have always been a Toyota guy, but I have been disappointed with the features that I have been looking for lately on Toyotas. I looked on Friday at the dealership, felt no pressure from Daniel, who showed me the car I ended up buying plus two others. I came back Monday, prepared to take a test drive and possibly get into a car. Drove it around town and on the freeway. Ran smooth. Dustin was who helped me out today. After getting the formalities out the of the way, they were able to work it my way, for the most part. I will not be going back to Roseburg Honda after the way I was treated today. About 2 months ago, I took my vehicle there for an oil change as well as to have the headlights cleaned. At the time that I agreed to the service for the headlights, I was led to believe that it would last for a good amount of time. However, less than two months later the were nearly as bad as it was to begin with. Because I was leaving out of state, I was unable to take my vehicle back until today. When I went in to explain what had happened, the service manager was out to lunch but I was told he would return shortly. So I waited. When I finally was able to speak with him, I watched as he walked outside to look at my vehicle. However, I could clearly see that he did not even walk up to the front of my vehicle. Instead he walked towards it and immediately turned back around, without even stopping to actually look at the lights. He proceeded to tell me that the service they performed "3" months ago was a simple buff and shine service and that the results do not last very long. I explained that I understood what he was saying. My concern is that, at the time I paid for the service, I was led to believe by the service associate that the results would last for awhile. I would never have paid for a service knowing that it would not last longer than two months. That doesn't seem worth it to me. I purchased the service because I was led to believe that the results would last for awhile. The service manager then said that he could remember me and the day I brought my vehicle in and that he remembered my headlights were "yellow". First of all, I have never seen this man before. I did not see him when I brought my vehicle in two months ago, so I highly doubt he would remember the headligts. And second, my headlights were not yellow. They had the white oxidation, yes. But they were not yellow, like some old vehicle that is not maintained. He then straight up called me a "liar" (he used that exact word) in front of his other employees that were there. He said I was a liar for claiming that I had been told the service would last 6 months to a year. During all this time I had been calm and trying to explain myself. At this point I was very embarrassed by what he had just called me in front of his staff. I got my daughter and we left. I cannot believe that a manager would treat a customer in that manner. Even if the customer is wrong, there is never a valid reason for calling anyone a liar when they are trying to explain how they understood a previous interaction. Drove from Coos Bay to Roseburg when my oil light popped on. Called Roseburg Honda to get a price quote- ~ 30$ (with a Veterans discount) for a synthetic oil change and they could fit us in that day. I couldn't get my oil changed in Coos Bay for less than $60, so I jumped at the offer. Price included a complimentary tire rotation and car wash. Waiting area was nice. They had two different rooms, one with a TV and kids play area and the other as a "Quiet Room" for those wanting to read. Very pleased with the service. Would definately come back. read more

Just bought my first Honda. Picked out a 2017 Honda SI.....just about everything I wanted. And the power, sweet! I purchased it on a Sunday, the salesman said they didn't have time to spiffy it up so I could bring it back anytime and they would do a detail. And so here it is Friday morning I pull into the service department, I was greeted by a few, and not greeted by the service writer. He was done with his customer and I was told by another employee to stand in front of his desk. This male did not acknowledge me, smile at me, or anything else to the contrary. Eventually he asked me if I have been helped, I told him no I was told to wait for him. He still did not say hi, how are, but eventually when he was looking at his computer said, what did you need today? He was really rude considering I just purchased a $30,000 car here. I had my car serviced at this location and have been extremely pleased with the service they provided. I had been taking my vehicle to another dealership previously and was being run around in circles. I called Roseburg Honda's service center for a second opinion and they asked to take a look at it. I drove two hours out to see them and from the moment I walked up to the counter your treated like a family environment and not just another dollar sign. The previous dealership I waited for an hour each of the three times I went in to have the transmission looked at and was just told to drive it more so we can get a better idea where its leaking. From the time I left the counter in Roseburg they had the car inspected and came back to me within 30 minutes. They had an entire plan laid out to get the repairs completed and due to it requiring approval from Honda under the warranty it was going to take a few days to complete. In the meantime they provided me with a loaner car that was very similar to what I was driving and they kept me updated through the whole process by text, calls and emails! I have been so impressed with this kind of service and after having Honda for years this is why will remain with Honda cars from here on out! Second non-warranty part (first the rotors, now the battery) that I have had to deal with since buying my CERTIFIED 2015 Honda Fit from them less than 6 months ago. Apparently when they do the 182 point inspection, those 182 points don't include a good battery or the rotors (convenient they overlook the things that aren't covered directly under the warranty) however, when buying a CERTIFIED car, implied warranty suggests that everything in the car is shiny and new and not on its last leg. These parts are not "covered" because they are considered "general maintenance" but I assure you that in 5 months, I have barely driven 5000 miles, and have not done anything abnormal with the car. I noticed the rotors in the 2nd week of having the car, and when I tried to contact the maintenance dept there, I was ignored. The battery in my ancient Honda lasted 3 years from when I bought it from a teenager. My certified dealer couldn't even provide me with a battery that lasted 6 months?? I have not done anything like run the radio, or charge anything other than my phone using the car. The sales dept here was great, I just don't think the maintenance dept is really on their game. Don't not buy a car from here, but if you buy a certified used, make sure to take it to your own mechanic to verify everything! read more

We were recently traveling from Tacoma to Anaheim to take our Accord to our daughter for her use while she completes her college internship. In the early afternoon of 6/29, we were traveling through Roseburg and the car developed trouble. We pulled into Roseburg Honda and after explaining our situation we were told they did not have time for us without taking the time to look at the car. This is not the type of customer service we are use to when dealing with Honda, we have owned four, and we were very disappointed. This was a situation of being on the road out of state with an Accord which was behaving unpredictably and little to no care or concern was shown for our situation. Fortunately we made the 90 mile drive to Medford where the Honda dealership there took great care of us and had us safely back on the road in under an hour. Looking at the other reviews has made me think that I probably when for servicing my car to a parallel universe. In that alternative reality the Honda Service Center, located at 1950 NW Mulholland Drive, Roseburg, OR 97470, visited several times since 2015, does not have the five stars that other customers generously had given this establishment. Far from it. It probably would be in the negative star range. In numerous occasions, not just one experience, they had managed to provide the kind of service one can only describe as deplorable. For example: 1. They are in the habit of not answering the phone during business hours or call back when a message has been left to return a call. 2. They take longer to provide the service they tell you would take certain amount of time: forty-five minutes turn into over a hundred and twenty. 3. They treat you as if it your first time taking your car to their shop with an disgruntle attitude of "we have a hard time finding you in our system." 4. They do not bother to clean after themselves and your car is left with marks of grease and oil. 5. They leave tools in your car--which make you wonder the hurry they were in and the quality of work they have done on your vehicle. As for me, since there are no negative-stars, I would go with just one--in this universe--and look for a new place where to find better service. read more
