I'll never go back to this place. In my experience, they constantly try to upsell unnecessary treatments and add extra charges, including fees for appointment changes and reschedules while still charging for a full physical. We've left two different times and ended up receiving better care elsewhere for a lower cost. One of the female doctors was also very rude and made me feel like a bad pet owner for not agreeing to expensive recommendations. Do yourself a favor and check out Alondra Animal Hospital instead. I have been bringing my three dogs to Dr. McKoy for the past few years. We have done dental work for all three of them with her now that they're getting older and also regular veterinary visits from stomach issues, rashes, and tick medications for our summer camping trips, etc. One of my favorite things about this clinic is that it is owned by the Veterinarian and she is a seasoned veterinarian. I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received during my visit. I am willing to allow the practice the opportunity to make this right; however, this would require accountability. At the very least, the doctor's behavior should be investigated, as it is never acceptable to treat clients in a hostile or demeaning manner or to create what appeared to be a hostile work environment. I do not wish to be contacted directly by the doctor, especially as a response to the review I left. The service I paid for was not provided in a professional or appropriate manner, and a refund is warranted. The doctor is fully aware that the consult did not meet basic professional standards. First time customer, I brought my 1 year old husky in after he experienced vomiting and diarrhea. He had already visited a different vet days earlier, where nothing wrong was found. When the symptoms returned, I came to this vet and within 30 min the dr did an xray and found an object within my dogs esophagus. She referred me to a surgeon and we got him in the next morning. The surgeon told us if we had waited any longer our dog may not have made it. The staff was extremely friendly. The clinic was nice and smelled great, you could not tell there were a number of animals within. I will absolutely be making this vet my dog's primary dr moving forward. THANK YOU! read more

Abhorrent experience. Came in for my first appointment and the team there couldn't receive my records. Sent it 4 times. Then our appointment ran an hour late and we were stuck waiting in the visiting room. Because of this, we were expressly told that we could come back and only be charged for an x ray. Upon coming back they told us that we would be charged for just an x ray and not another visit. They did not honor that promise. I deeply regret bringing my sick pup to this vet and feel like I failed her in doing so. My 14 year old Pom was experiencing classic dementia symptoms and she had lost a bit of weight (down to 2.8 pounds from 6.2). Our previous vet price gouged us and wasn't focused on my pups best interests, so I gave this clinic a try only to experience the same failure in care. When I made the appointment, I made it clear that it was for a dementia exam and explained that she had just gotten over being very sick with a UTI. Unfortunately, this vet was more concerned about racking up a big bill rather than focusing on what is best for my pup. The vet insisted that my sick dog get TWO monthly injections for arthritis and also gave her trazadone which knocked her out. The vet never discussed any meds for dementia and was more focused on pushing the two injections. My mistake was trusting this vet and going along with her recommendation of at least doing Librela. After giving my dog the Librela shot once, her symptoms took a rapid decline. I then learned from a friend that Librela is well known for causing neurological issues in dogs resulting in them needing to be put down and there are active lawsuits against this drug company as a result of the harm it is causing to pets including death. Insisting that my very sick dog who was down over 3 pounds needed this shot was incredibly negligent of this vet! I ended up having to put my dog down and I deeply regret ever bringing my dog to this negligent vet! She failed my dog! read more

I had a good experience at this veterinary clinic. I adopted a one year old pug last month that was experiencing lots of biting at the rear. I scheduled an appointment with the clerical staff which were nice. Upon arrival, I noted that the interior was very clean and aesthetic (purple pens haha!) The service was quick and good. My little pug had his anal glands expressed and was given a booster for one of the shots he already had. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Dr. McCoy but the substitute doctor was kind and seemed knowledgeable as well. read more

Mine/my sister's dog went here for symptoms of dementia such as (spinning in circles on occasion, staring off into space, and running into walls). The vets offered no solutions or treatment options and instead suggested that she had arthritis and was circling because she was in pain (which in hindsight was a ridiculous assumption, but we were desperate to get our dog help). They then suggested a Librella shot, which immediately worsened her symptoms to the point where she was spinning in circles until collapse. She then lost control of her bladder and bowel movements. It was AWFUL watching her suffer immediately after the shot they suggested. We took her to another vet and they were SHOCKED that this shot was recommended as it's known for worsening pre-existing conditions and causing neurological issues. The new vet said it never should've been given to a dog suffering from dementia and this was total negligence on the part of Rosecrans Vet Clinic. The clinic gave a BS response, we know you get kick backs for selling Librella shots. I have a friend with a husky who received the same shot and the dog couldn't walk at all afterward, so imagine giving it to a 3lb elderly dog. As a vet, it is your job to explain the potential side effects and provide treatment recommendations accordingly. How dare you sell a shot for a completely unrelated issue and not even let the pet owners know that it could dramatically decrease the pets quality of life! We eventually had to put her down because we couldn't watch her suffer anymore. She spent her last days on earth spinning in tight circles and wetting herself in her sleep. All because they wanted to sell a shot. read more

I walked in to inquire about the cost of getting my kitten spayed and was shocked at how much they charge compared to other local vets who provide stellar service. What got me the most is how the two ladies at the reception desk acted like I was bothering them when I just had a question about the price and procedure (I am a new pet owner and am learning). There were no other customers, they were just sitting there. I can get past the expensive pricing if the quality of care is good...at the end of the day I want my pet to be well taken care of and cared for with compassion. My fur baby had some eye boogies and they did me a huge favor in removing them. They also told me how to clean her eyes regularly so that her eye boogies don't get stuck to her fur. I've taken my cats in here for a variety of reasons. I've been vet hopping for years and am so happy that this place opened up! The staff is so nice and the prices are very fair. My cats can be drama queens and the staff and Dr. McCoy were so understanding and kept my girls calm. I like that they are a full service clinic. I can get good prices on meds, X-rays, and procedures! The labs are even in house so I didn't have to wait days for results when my cat wouldn't stop peeing everywhere. It helped us solve the problem more quickly. Overall, I highly recommend going here. I'm bringing my dog later this week and will absolutely suggest my friends come too. read more

The billing clerk and the veterinarian need to communicate so that you're not building appropriately for medication's that were already given to your pup. Also, I don't like that. They can't review records from a prior vet, which is less than 30 days for a physical and have to do a physical and charge you for that in order to give you any meds. read more
