    Coco was brought in by my husband on Saturday afternoon, she had thrown up and had a seizure. He was helped right away and Coco was seen by the Vet . Once my husband figured out what she might have eaten ; poison control was called , and her treatment was started . Saturday night we kept getting updates , what labs were gonna be drawn and what exams were needed . My husband was able to visit her Sunday morning , and she was so happy to see him . I was able to come Monday morning . And she was able to be discharged Monday night . Thank you to VCA team for saving my girls life ! I can't say how grateful I am for the whole team ! Everyone was amazing !!!

    went there last night and for an emergency they were very quick and nice. The lobby was very clean and they even had snacks and coffee etc. The facility was very clean and very organized. They doctor and technicians took my dog right in and they were very helpful. Followed up with my primary as well!

    My beautiful boy Adam had to be put down last night. He had a level 5 heard condition. He would not lie down and was coughing. I went to VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center around 3:00 am. Aleathea was very kind to me at the front desk. Dr Brown was so caring. They gave Adam fluids before the procedure. I will come back to this VCA. I am very picky about vets and this one impressed me.

    My dog Carina has mass on her body. Before the removal surgery, my primary vet asked me to do ultrasound. I had an appointment at 3p but had to wait like 40min. I think it's very common at any vet for longer wait. Dr.Waithe was nice and helped me for answering my questions. Ultrasound price was reasonable. Yes I would recommend this vet for others.

    I have so much gratitude for Dr. Wang and her staff! Thank you for giving my dog Trixie back her vision. It means everything and you handled her with such care! I took Trixie to Dr. Wang when she suddenly lost her vision and my Vet said I needed to see a specialist. Trixie had an ulcer in her eye. It took some time and patience for her to heal, but she has healed. I trusted Dr. Wang and watched her treat Trixie. Dr. Wang explained everything to me and what I could expect. Also, the parking is easy! The staff is friendly and prompt! They have coffee too! Thank you again Dr. Wang! Cori and Trixie

When our dog became rapidly and critically ill Sat night this was the 5th Emergency Vet I called and the first to say they could see our Dane right away and that a surgeon would be available and on call should he need surgery. The front desk staff and all the other staff we encountered were all very kind and prompt and they took our dog back immediately when we arrived. Unfortunately, Dr Huh was the vet assigned to our care. First, she did not introduce herself when she came in the room so we did not know she was the doctor until we clarified with one of the other staff. When imaging returned and it became clear our pup would need urgent surgery she stated that once we decided if we wanted the surgery she would call the surgeon in. I stated that it would be ideal to talk to the surgeon first before making that big decision especially since our Dane is elderly (I don't think she liked that I asked that). She asked if I was in the medical field and what I do (I am a physician). From there she was incredibly rude, impatient and condescending. At one point even calling my husband "selfish" for asking if it would be appropriate to try to make him comfortable and take our dog home. Because of our dogs age we had to choose humane euthanasia which was devastating. It wasn't until his final dying moments when she was pushing his meds that she showed any kindness, but the damage was done. My husband is/was my dog's person and was understandably shocked and grieving so I really hoped he didn't notice her bedside manner and how she lacked any empathy, but after we were processing everything it was one of the first things he commented on. She did see our dog quickly and made him comfortable as quickly as possible which I am grateful for, but caring for these beloved members of our family is so much more than diagnostic labs and imaging. Had she showed any empathy or kindness it would have made all the difference in our last moments with him.

I was willing to accept high prices because I care about my dogs. Today, I went to get a simple nail trim and heartworm test to continue our flea and heartworm medication. I paid for the dogs services took them home and when I got home, realized that two of my dogs nails were obviously cut below the quick. I was very concerned about this because the reason I pay $40 for a nail trim is so that they can be done right and no one mentioned to me that anything had happened. I called to ask if they had noticed if something had happened to my dog and was told yes that they'd cut it. It had bled. They stopped the bleeding and it should be OK which NOBODY told me when I checked out. When I told them that they should've said something and I'd like a discount for my service today (which was total over $500 by the way) they told me no. I will not be back to this place because honestly if you can't trust someone to do a nail trim or at least let you know when something went wrong. I would not trust them with bigger things.

What meant the most to me was how comfortable my dog felt. Every other vet visit, he would shake from fear. This was the first time in his 10 years that he didn't shake at all. He was calm and relaxed, and that truly says everything about how they treat their patients. I drove from Diamond Bar, and my brother-in-law drove from the Valley and tbh it was absolutely worth it. How is that acceptable? To make matters worse, they don't even have appointments available until mid-July. So what exactly are patients supposed to do in the meantime? Wait until their pets are seriously suffering just to be seen and get medication they already rely on? There seems to be a complete lack of urgency, compassion, and accountability. Dr Ravi did the surgery and we appreciated the follow-up. Dr Lee and Dr Kerr also provided great support. Because Byron has IBD his symptoms could have been dismissed as part of his condition. Then he told me I would be getting a refund of 50 dollars because I was billed incorrectly. . .i said you didn't bill me incorrectly you billed me for my cats ashes that I requested to receive and he started getting upset saying no that it was only a billing issue. I never got my cat back and he was only a baby. To know that he was burn and his ashes mixed with all the other unclaimed pets pains every day. Banfield assured me that everything was going to be okay and they made time to see him the next day - even though I was a new client! I am a first time pet owner so I had a lot of questions (probably some dumb questions and excessive and annoying ones too) but they showed no signs of annoyance - they were very patient with me and answered all of my questions so kindly. I also work full time so when they called about my dog being ready, I was unable to pick him up but that didn't phase them either. They said it was no problem and that they were happy to take care of him until I was able to pick him up at the end of the day. Everyone at Banfield was SO nice and seemed to genuinely care about me and my pet. I would recommend Banfield to anyone - in fact, I WILL be recommending Banfield to everyone I know who has a pet - and I will be switching to them as my primary vet.

I picked him up hours later and they stated my dog was given a shot for nausea and told us to feed him food for a sensitive stomach. My dog seemed fine for a couple days, but once the vomiting started again I found another vet and took him in. Within 30 min the new vet found an object stuck within the esophagus likely causing these problems. We were referred to a surgeon and took him the next morning. Had we not done that the surgeon said my dog would likely not have made it. I get every visit and dr are different, but this is crazy to not see what the 2nd dr saw immediately. As my dog is now in recovery, my husband went back to PetSmart, where Banfield is located in, to find prescribed food for my dogs bland diet. He asked the two staff members at the Banfield desk for help and they stopped their chatting to rudely tell him they don't know where that food would be and they don't work for the store. They then went back to their chatting. I will never go to Banfield ever again and I will tell every person I come into contact with who has a pet to never go here. I will repeat my story so people know this is not a trusted veterinary clinic for your loving animals. This is not a place where caring people work to DO THEIR JOBS. You may not be a PetSmart employee, but you all know where prescribed food is located. I know because one of you literally walked me to that aisle to show me where the expensive sensitive stomach prescribed food was. What a horrible experience. My family has been going to PetSmart for more than a decade. We will never come back thanks to this experience.

Instead, they gave me the meds he would need and advice for caring for him at home. Sadly, despite my best efforts, he began to deteriorate quickly on Wednesday morning. We got him back to MASH as quickly as possible, they attempted CPR. but there was nothing else the could do. The doctors and staff at MASH were so compassionate. I really cannot say enough good things about them. As horrific as the situation was, they made the experience as bearable as they could. They gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye. We occupied the room for about 5 hours total. They gave us the time and space to say our goodbyes. My heart is still hurting immensely. But I take solace in the fact that there are good people out there like those at MASH who truly care. If you have any question in your mind as to with whom you should entrust the care of your beloved pet, I would strongly recommend MASH.
