    Banana macadamia nut
    Alex K.

We stopped at their storefront in Paia. Wow they've been around since 1932 and the ocean is just quality. We tried a couple of flavors before landing on the Banana Mac Nut one. Friendly staff, but sitting is a bit limited to benches on the side. They do sell pints too if you want it. Rich, creamy, and smooth. Parking in Paia is best in the visitors parking lot and then walking to the store. It's not a long walk.

If you're strolling through Paia and craving something sweet, Roselani Ice Cream Scoop Shop is a must-stop. This place is all about locally made ice cream with island-inspired flavors, and you can really taste the difference. The texture is rich and creamy, and the flavors feel authentic to Maui--whether you go classic or try something more tropical, it hits the spot. It's the perfect cool-down after a warm day exploring Paia or after grabbing a meal nearby. The shop has a relaxed, easygoing vibe, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Simple, delicious, and local--exactly what you want in a Maui treat.

i had the ube ice cream, and it was by far the best ube ice cream i have ever had. super creamy and flavorful. it did melt really fast. my husband had the coconut pineapple, which was also delicious. his had chunks of coconut and pineapple.

Roselani ice cream is a worthy replacement to Ululani shave ice that previously occupied this spot. I love their coconut flavor, it has real small chunks of coconut bits and the flavor is natural. I've had the combination of ube & coconut flavors. This is a great place to stop by in the afternoon especially when the temperature in Paia was like yesterday so humid. A solid and very good ice cream shop.

If you're in Paia and craving Ice Cream you must try this place. Roselani is Maui's own ice cream! It is made by the Nobriga family since 1932 with over 30 flavors. Kona Mud Pie is my family's favorite. Good service with aloha. It's a small space but there is some sitting area if you want to stay and enjoy. Come and support our local businesses.

MMMMHMMM This place is SOOO good. Great staff, clean place, great prices and yummmmmmmyy (heavy on the mmmmmm part) ice cream. I got the coffee chip and the banana macadamia nut, and I literally inhaled it in seconds. It was that good...

    Yum!!

YUMM!! Every single flavor I tried was incredible. The texture of the ice cream is so creamy. Solid 10/10 high quality ice cream!

My wife and I stopped by here, looking for the shaved ice shop that used to be here. However, it's now the Roselani Scoop Shop and we had the chocolate macadamia nut ice cream. Super indulgent, creamy ice cream! Wonderful! The woman who was serving the ice cream was very friendly and chatty. She said Roselani's is Maui's oldest, local ice cream brand. The ambiance was pleasant, a spacious, relaxing place to sit and enjoy great ice cream.

THE BEST ICE CREAM OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. My friends and I are big ice cream lovers. This place is so good we started talking about how much we would pay to get this to the mainland. We came back three days in a row not including the hula cookies we got (which also have Roselani's ice cream inside). They have a huge variety, but my favorite flavors are the kona mud pie and the banana mac crunch. Two scoops is a very good deal, and if you're thinking about getting the keiki size, just get the full size because you're going to want to eat more ice cream. The service was great! She did not seem annoyed to let us sample a lot of flavors which is nice since I had a pretty big party. There's a bench inside where you can sit to enjoy your ice cream and learn about the history of this place.

Got a double scoop of Likikoi Sherbet and Pauwela Sunrise in a Manini Size Cone. So GOOD!

A true Maui classic in the heart of Paia! Roselani has been crafting island-made ice cream for almost 100 years, and you can taste the tradition in every bite. The Paia Scoop Shop is bright, welcoming, and perfect after a beach day. Flavors like Ube and Hawaiian Mac Nut are creamy, rich, and pure aloha. A must-stop for locals and visitors who want a real taste of Maui history.

Kona mud pie, vanilla macadamia nut, ube
    Grisel S.

Seriously the best ice cream my friends and I have ever had. We came back three days in a row during our trip. The flavors were unique, well made, with the perfect combinations. The ice cream was rich and creamy, I could not rave about this place more. We were sad to leave the island because we wouldn't have access to this ice cream. We ordered the Kona mud pie, banana macadamia nut, vanilla macadamia nut, and ube. All flavors were so good, but get the Kona mud pie!!! No other ice cream flavor will ever compare, we couldn't get enough. We still think about this ice cream even weeks after our trip. The staff was also super nice which we appreciated!

The coconut pudding flavor was AMAZING!! My new favorite flavor. My husband had chocolate macadamia and he loved his. Also the owner was so friendly!! She suggested my flavor and made us feel welcome in her store!

Five Stars - A Sweet Maui Treat Worth Returning For!…read more This was our family's first visit to Tobi's Shave Ice, and it definitely won't be our last! As first-timers, I asked the staff for a recommendation and decided to trust their expertise. Great decision. I ordered the High Surf, and it was absolutely delicious--refreshing, flavorful, and exactly what you want after a day in the Maui sun. One of my daughters chose to add soft serve underneath her shave ice, which was a combination I had never tried before. It sounded unusual at first, but after a few bites, I completely understood why it's so popular. The creamy soft serve paired perfectly with the light, fluffy shave ice. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help us navigate the menu. Their enthusiasm added to the experience and made us feel right at home. Beyond the shave ice itself, the atmosphere was part of what made this stop special. Sitting outside in a charming small-town setting with a relaxed island vibe made it feel like more than just a dessert stop--it was an experience. The shave ice was fantastic, the service was great, and the overall vibe was exactly what we hoped for during our Maui visit. We're very happy we gave Tobi's a try and would absolutely return the next time we're on the island. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!

My man was craving shaved ice and said hands down this was the best shaved ice he's ever had and didn't even realize it was COCONUT shaved ice. I decided to get the ice cream and drink straight out the coconut & it didn't disappoint. Like others mentioned, the ice cream was a little difficult to eat because it was straight up frozen & wasn't creamy like your typical scoop of ice cream but the flavor was on point especially if you love Hawaiian Haupia like I do. Luckily for us we got to enjoy our coconut fix while tanning outside the storefront because they only had two seats available.
