Really yummy ice cream and great selection! Super popular spot with lots of people bustling in and out and taking advantage of the unlimited samples lol. I really enjoyed the fact that they offer split scoops for any size of ice cream, so I had a single split scoop of lillikoi cheesecake and macadamia nut ice cream. The lillikoi cheesecake ice cream had such good cheesecake flavor, rich and a little tangy. I wish there was just a touch more of the lillikoi jam ribboned throughout the scoop, but it was still good. I liked the chunks of macadamia nut that were int he mac nut ice cream; it was a little sweeter than the lillikoi cheesecake, but the two of them were balanced nicely! I ordered it with mochi, and it also came with a chocolate wafer roll. The staff was super helpful and kind! I felt bad for them because one of our orders broke the shaved ice machine, but handled it as best as they could. I'm sure many people would be enticed by the fact that the syrups are self serve!
So many flavors!!!! Pleasing to the eye and stomach. The young man was so sweet and helpful, especially when we asked to try to sample so many flavors. I got the pineapple cream. It was very light. My friend got the strawberry guava. That was DELICIOUS! Clean establishment. Seating outdoors is available. Looking forward to coming back.
Was looking for biscoff ice cream which is how I stumbled upon this place. And I ended up finding my new favorite ice cream spot! Cute little store with a nice interior and a huge selection of flavors to choose from. The service was great the girls working were really nice when I was taking a while to order cause I wanted to try eve try thing. The ice cream itself so good I got biscoff which is now my favorite and beach bum really good banana flavor with pecans. I tried other flavors like vanilla and Caramel. Really good consistency nice and smooth and the right amount of sweetness. Along with with that hot kamaaina which is always a plus. Definitely recommend will be coming back to try others things like their fudge and shard ice!
Delicious! If I could leave it so simple I would, but since we as Yelpers love to ramble on, the Island Cream Co is located in the shops across the Lahaina Cannery with counter seating inside or at tables outside the shop. The staff are friendly and welcoming upon opening the door. The shop is clean and orderly to a T! They offer handmade locally sourced cream, shaved ice, chocolate covered bananas, ice cream sandwiches and chocolate tacos to name a few. I had a double scoop of mint chip and strawberry chip, both delicious and creamy!
Very nice service and experience. This ice cream / gelato fusion was one of the best things we've ever had. We got the chocolate chip Mac nut flavor and it was specifically outstanding. The ube was a lovely and noticeable flavor but I felt it lacked a bit of sweetness for my taste. The shave ice was a good fineness and quality. We specifically liked the ability to go back for more self-serve syrup, and try anything! The flavors I tried were all milder than i like regarding sweetness but tasty nonetheless. Would visit again!
I had really high hopes for Island Cream Co, but was sadly disappointed. We swung by a couple hours ago and there was only one person in front of us. We stood there for 10 minutes and no one greeted us or acknowledged us. When it was finally our turn, more customers showed up and all of a sudden two additional workers came from the back to help out... We felt like we weren't cared for and that was a huge turn off for us. We ordered two small glacier ice station shaved ice. The flavors I chose were guava, passion fruit and lychee. I thought the flavors were really good, but I unfortunately didn't add enough syrup so it was on the weaker side which made it harder to eat. That's my fault though! The shop itself is clean and has AC. Our main problem was the lack of customer service we received. It's sad to see so many 5 star reviews, but I'm not able to write on for them today...
Easy walk up on a Saturday late morning but as we sat , the line coming in was steady and the one person working was great! Very patient and calm demeanor. I loved all the ice cream offerings and sampled a few for kicks. Ended up with a small shave ice with a scoop of pineapple cream. It's very exciting to be able to select and serve myself any flavor that spoke to me. And afterwards, you can have snow cap and li hing mui added by the employee which is what I did. While the ice isn't as flakey as a couple other places I have tried, it's tasty nonetheless. Definitely coming back, maybe for ice cream only but who knows! Plenty of parking in the lot and places to sit in or out. Please support this local business.
Great for kids! Adults too. Flavors are abundant and very enticing. The shave ice I believe would be the main attraction because of the self serve syrups. Price is above average but noted you are in a tourist town. They do let you taste before buying, I know this because of the dude in front of me tasted like 3-4 flavors. Can't stand bozos like that. Anyway. Great place!
We always stop here at least once during our annual visit. The ice cream is always fresh with some great spins on the flavors. The service is good and they let you sample as many flavors as you want. If you're into shaved ice the selections are off the chart. They have indoor seating as well as a few tables outside.
The best ice cream on Maui. Everything is made in house and you can tell. Samples are given with a smile, and all of their flavors are incredible. Don't pass on this place - it's highly rated for a reason!
The service was really quick, and they got the order done correctly. It was pretty busy in there, despite it being about 40 minutes to close on a Tuesday night. There were a few indoor seats and two outdoor picnic tables. The Slosh shave ice was not as good as the quality at Island Vintage Shave Ice. I didn't get the ice cream, but I imagine that is the best thing they service at this place. I would recommend sticking to the ice cream and getting the shave ice at Island Vintage.
There are so many flavors to try out, luckily they have a sampler platter where you can try up to 6 flavors! Definitely worth for 2 people. Our favorite was the lilikoi passion fruit cheesecake! Our server was also chill and patience with us while sampling. He even gave us some recommendations that we added to our sampler! We will be back trying other flavors!

I wish I had found this spot sooner! We passed by it several times during our trip and had no idea what we were missing. I love Dole Whip, but this place serves their own version called Pineapple Cream, and in my opinion, it's a million times better. They even have a poster in the shop comparing the ingredients, and let's just say they're not shy about pointing out what's in Dole Whip versus their own product. Their Pineapple Cream is made with simple ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference. They offer a variety of island inspired flavors, which made it tough to choose because everything sounded delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't discover this place until our last night in Maui. Otherwise, I have no doubt we would have come back multiple times during our trip. If you're a fan of pineapple ice cream, this is a must-visit. Seating was limited outdoors and inside was full. We spent a week in paradise, and we had to check out the highly rated Island Cream. Island Cream Co. served some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The flavors were rich, unique, creamy, and absolutely delicious, and every bite lived up to the hype. What made the experience even better was the quick and efficient service. Even with extremely long lines of customers, the staff kept things moving smoothly without sacrificing friendliness. If you're an ice cream lover, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great ice cream and great service make for a winning combination. read more

After having had dinner close by, we headed to Island Cream for dessert. What a place, all bright and inviting with do it yourself shave ice and a bunch of ice cream flavors to choose from. I went for the ice cream, selecting two different styles of caramel, one salty and one with pecans. To be more precise after reading their website, they have 36 island cream flavors to choose from. Island cream is a little different than ice cream, a difference I honestly didn't notice because I didn't know to consider. For me it was "Ice Cream, GOOD". They offer a whole display of familiar and unfamiliar flavors. While I didn't notice much caramel flavor that's common for me, I almost need veins of caramel or caramel candy for it to really stand out, I did very much like the overall act of eating my island cream. This was a nice treat to finish the day. read more
Stopped for ice cream after a meal at Kīhei Kaffe. A bit of a line but it moved quickly. The people taking orders were so happy and didn't balk at all with samples. We got chocolate, a banana flavor and a Dubai chocolate flavor. All of them were very flavorful and were enjoyed outside before heading to our hotel. read more
Everyone has their "go to" for shave ice on the island, but this place right here is definitely mine! Why? For me, it's all about the way they pack on the ice, as well as, the texture!! You're probably reading this and thinking, "girl, it's just ice!" Naw dude, it's not...it's Glacier Ice! LOL!! We came several times on our visit, and the same awesome girl made a perfect icy mountain ready for me to put three flavors on there (self-serve...genius!). Careful though, it can get sticky and messy if you don't read the instructions. They will be the one to add the li-hing powder and condensed cream if you want (a must try!) You can't go wrong with any of their ice creams, fro-yos, and gelato as well! Give this place a try if you're in the area. It's a super refreshing treat on a warm day! This may be the best ice cream/shave ice on the islands. The combo makes for some creative ideas, the sposhy being one of them. It has everything - fluffy shave ice, mango/strawberry flavor made from real fruit, real strawberries, real mango, pillowy mochi, mango pearls, condensed milk, and ice cream. Simply put: tasty ice cream, great service, reasonable prices for a touristy area. They have a ton of options to choose from and that allows ya to be creative in formulating your own dessert. I kept it simple and just got ice cream in a cup! read more

Island Cream Co. did not disappoint! The moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed in the best way possible so many flavors to choose from, each one looking phenomenal. It honestly made it hard to decide because everything had my mouth watering. I ended up going with the strawberry, guava, and berry gelato, and it was the perfect choice. The presentation alone was beautiful, the vibrant pink and red tones popped against the golden waffle bowl, making it just as fun to look at as it was to eat. The scoops were smooth, creamy, and rich, and you could tell the flavors were fresh and crafted with care. The taste? Incredible. Each bite was bursting with flavor, refreshing, and exactly what you want on a hot day. It hit the spot perfectly sweet, fruity, and indulgent without being too heavy. On top of that, the service was great super kind and welcoming and the shop itself was spotless, which made the whole experience even better. New trendy place for ice cream, shave ice and gelato, which was packed with customers at approximately 8 pm. The ice cream itself is creamy and tasty, BUT WAY OVERPRICED!!!! How can you charge $14.99 plus tax for shave ice? OK, so the Sposhy has a VERY small scoop of ice cream (approx 2 T) inside the shave ice, a FEW boba balls, a squirt of condensed milk and a few mochi balls????? ... but $15 is pretty ridiculous IMO Good luck.. I'm not sure how many will be able to continue supporting you! read more

The mango ice cream? So good. It's bright, super fruity, and tastes like actual fresh island mango -- not that artificial candy flavor. Creamy but still light, which is kind of dangerous because you'll finish it fast and immediately consider a second scoop. Friendly staff! Love supporting a local spot that really leans into tropical flavors. If mango's your thing, this one's a winner. Would you go waffle cone or cup? read more

Came by this shave ice spot accidentally but so grateful we did. So many options and I wish we had more time on the 'aina so we could try out all the flavors. Everyone was so nice and helpful plus all the tables were really clean and not sticky at all. read more
