We…read moregot mold months after moving in when we call them and they make it seem like it's normal saying the windows seals are broken and all they do it's clean the mold and not actually fix the problem that causes it. We then got mold in our closet and we lost several personal items that they don't replace and then mold showed up in our bathroom, which they open the wall full of mold and left the wall open for almost a month with the mold everywhere due to bad communication with maintenance. We renewed our lease because we thought the mold was gone but as soon as it got cold the mold came back. We are breaking our lease because this apartment is no longer a healthy environment for us I have 2 small children that keep getting sick and now because we want to leave to keep our family safe we have to be punish and pay a Huge fee. Once I sent the email with our reason for leaving they want to "fix" the problem. The walls are paper thin so you would hear EVERYTHING! And some of the neighbors thing they own the Parking because they been here longer! I would not move here but if you do test for mold and other things. If you want to get in a screaming match with anyone the office manager it's your person! Ever since we said we are moving every time she speaks with my husband she is soo unprofessional!

The property manager, Donna…read moreKovalick, is horribly evil and sounds like the wicked witch of the west on the phone and in person (so annoying to talk to her plus she is highly uneducated). She has many minions aka spies that keep track of your every movement and report back to her. She also uses her minions to break into apartments and check on things. Donna has no qualms about breaking in to your apartment (you will never get notified or receive a not that tells you someone broke in and entered). Donna has absolutely no respect whatsoever for the tenants. She gets very angry when you mention anything is wrong. She will try to steal all your deposit money. She makes up convenient lies to get all your money such as a $70 cleaning, a $80 carpet cleaning, and oh mold that showed up that you caused some how which will cost you $700 and voila your security deposit is gone. The parking is horrible as everyone takes all the spots with visitors (the spies are trying to catch the violators and catch their own tenants instead!). Maintenance is slow and horrible. Snow removal is very slow. The apartments are in a great spot near stuff but save your money and look for something else. Donna and her minions are not worth the trouble. Also, this place is becoming a new retirement community filled with old people who gossip (and by old, I mean ancient people who are awake at 4:30 am tracking people's movements). Document everything that goes wrong here, you will need it. Stay away from East Pointe, Donna and her ancient, stuck up minions. Buy a house, live near a bridge, rent a trailer, or live with your parents...avoid this place like the plague! I would never, ever recommend this place!

There was a ginormous amount of storage offered such as a large closet near the diningroom, a big old pantry in the kitchen, plus the second bedroom had a nicely wide bifold closet.The cherry on the top was the huge walkin closet in the master bedroom and if you can believe it, we also had our own storage unit in the hall of the building.I was thoroughly impressed!We only had one item bust during our time there which was the door on the microwave, but once I told the office ladies, a man came to fix it immediately. He was knowledgeable and polite.The apartment was maintained beautifully as well as the property which never seemed to have trash about either.Such a nice experience that I wanted to share with the entire world!
