I visited this place for the first time when I redeemed a Groupon massage. My massage therapist was Ellen. She did an outstanding job. She applied perfect pressure, she did not talk and the room offered light music. All for $30 bucks! The only drawback is the room is very small and the walls are thin. You can hear some of the activity outside of the room. Also, she was running about 30-40 minutes behind. I can definitely say her work made it worth the wait, but I would hope running behind is not a norm for her. I would pay $60 for a massage with Ellen. After the service, she gave me a card that entitles a friend to a free 15 minute massage and I received a coupon that allows me to have three more massages for $30. I expect this offer will not last long because her service is enough of an incentive to return. read more

One of my worst massage experiences ever! I've never left a massage WITH a headache. I got a living social deal and had looked at the reviews ahead of time on Yelp so I thought this was a pretty safe bet. Boy was I wrong. The short story: Understaffed so they're constantly rescheduling, didn't give me the type of massage i SPECIFICALLY asked for (I asked for a relaxing peace and quiet massage - not rocket science) & left me on the table for 15 minutes in the middle of the message. The long story: First off, they asked to reschedule me 3 times for my 60 minute massage. One time, I understand, second time, the masseuse was sick, nothing you can do about that... but by the third time I was getting irritated. I spoke with the office manager about how I've been asked to reschedule 3 times. She apologized and said they never wrote in my chart they had asked to move me before and said they would write on my appointment "DO NOT MOVE" and offered me 15 extra minutes. When I finally got to my appointment was at 6pm. I had to see the chiropractor first, which i knew was apart of the deal. She ended up talking to me for 30 minutes. I thought it was just a 10-15 min consultation. Apparently these talks can take up to 30 minutes! she was very nice though so I tried to be patient. And she was asking me what I wanted to have done during my massage. I told her very specifically I wanted a relaxing quiet massage to de-stress. I didn't want to work on anything specific. She said she would tell the masseuse that. When we were done, the masseuse wasn't ready so I waited another 10 minutes. It was 6:45 by the time I was actually on the table! The masseuse asked me what I wanted and I told him i wanted some peace and quiet and a relaxing massage. He did the exact opposite! He talked the whole time and only did trigger point therapy! In his defense, he did help my shoulders relieve some tension. 30 minutes into the massage though he goes "I'm on a new medication, I'll be right back". He left me in there on the table for 15 minutes! At that point I was irritated that no one had come and told me what was going on. As I'm getting dressed & getting ready to leave he comes back and explains to me that he is having gut issues. That's fine, but if you're leaving me in the middle of a massage at least tell someone I'm in there so they can maybe send another therapist in or a manager. I told him I understand, but I'm cutting my massage short. Remember, my appointment was at 6! I left at 7:45! I called the owner the next day to tell him about my experience because I didn't want this happening to another person. He apologized and explained a few things and offered me two 30 minutes massages with a different masseuse. I thought maybe it would be better with someone else. The day before my first 30 minute scheduled massage I got called to move it again because the only other masseuse available other than the guy I went to the first time was out sick and they're understaffed right now!! I told the owner I had had enough. I'm sure this place is great when it's staffed up, but the owner should tell his staff to give the customer exactly what they ask for in a massage and don't leave them for 15 minutes! read more

like a lot of people, i came here with a groupon. i went in expecting a nice relaxing massage, but i also knew there are specific tight spots in my upper back, neck, and shoulders. so when frank asked if i'd like to try trigger point therapy, i was down with it. turns out, that's probably exactly what i needed! he found some spots i didn't even know about. so it wasn't necessarily what i expected, but i still enjoyed it. frank was very respectful and i am glad he asked before just starting with the trigger point therapy lol. i made this appointment before all the covid19 business started. a lot of businesses have shut down, but they kept my appointment! i will probably be back! read more

My first experience here was awesome and everyone was so nice... Here are the confessions of a first-time massage...these were the thoughts running through my mind the entire time I was SUPPOSED to be relaxing: On being told to undress down to what I'm comfortable with and lay under the sheet face up: ummm, undress down to what I'm comfortable with? ok, keep bra on or off? If I keep it on what about my bra straps? how does she massage with those, does she just pull them down? I'm really taking too long debating this...what if she comes back in without knocking and catches me booty naked?! ah, might was well take it all off and leave the undies. *mad dash to remove all clothing* upon crawling under the sheet: oh man, is this HEATED? where can i get myself a heated bed/table thing? wow, this feels amazing. are these 500-thread-count sheets? SHUT UP AND RELAX upon Ellen (my masseuse) knocking and then entering the room: ok, here she is. i'm ready. she better get these kinks out of my neck or else. can she see the outline of my body? gross. this is kind of intimate...maybe i shouldve requested a man... upon her placing a towel on my head and massaging my scalp: wait, she's putting a warm towel on my head...where did she get that and how does it stay warm?? WAIT don't touch my eyebrows!!! ahh, ok, she put it just above the brows...she knows what she's doing. ahhh scalp massage, this feels good. i heard this stimulates hair growth...how does one measure such a thing? upon her hitting the spot that hurts: ahhhhhhhh, that's the spot that hurts!! Can she feel the knots?? oh, ok. that feels nice. wow, that really hurts, but it feels nice? how does that happen? ahhhhhh yeah, ok. she knows what she's doing, yep. oh now she's turning my head to the side, and getting my neck and shoulders and ears and jawline...that hurts...but doesnt...just keep that up, thanks. upon her moving to my arms and hands: wait, what happened to my neck and shoulders? are we finished there? oh ok. oh that feels nice, my arms ARE sore. wow, i like that whole wiggling my wrist to and fro and she's getting my fingers, too? Wait, in the dim lighting can she see my polish is chipped? Ugh upon her moving to my thighs, legs, and feet: she should really go get another bottle of oil, she's clearly pushing it and the sound of an empty bottle being knocked on the bed to get the last drop is annoying. Hmm, this is a busy street...all the cars whizzing by. Wow, it's noisy in the hallway, don't they have any respect for my relaxation? A-holes! Ahhh, my legs, yes those are sore too and that feels nice...shins...ankles...feet...toes...back to shins...thighs...inner thi...WHOA...ok back down to legs... that was a close call ELLEN! Upon being told to rollover to my stomach and put my face in the cradle thing: put my face in that? How am I supposed to breathe? What about my brows? Is she thinking this through clearly? Is this necessary? Upon actually doing what she said: ok, let's try to do this as elegantly as possible...ahh, nailed it. There's a possibility though that I'll leave out of here looking like 'whodoneit'...I'm going straight home! SHUT UP AND RELAX Upon her moving to my neck, shoulders, and back: ahhh, the neck and shoulders again...that feels great. I'm so tense...relax. Whoa, are those her FOREARMS? Man, feels like she's putting the weight of 70 men on my back. The table is creaking (what if it collapses?!), the floor is creaking (whoever installed these hardwoods should be smacked), the ROOM is creaking (the foundation of this building doesn't seem so sturdy!). Ahhhhh man, that really feels great. How does she do this for a living though? I mean, I wouldn't want to touch rub and feel all over somebody's body. And touching someone's feet, GROSS!! What about nasty flabby people who didn't shower beforehand? She sure is lucky to have a client that's made out of rose gold and fairy dust like me, I tell ya! SHUT UP AND RELAX Upon being told 'I hope you enjoyed our session' and realizing the spit has pooled in my mouth because I'm facedown and I cant speak: mmmhmmm, it was gwate thankwue... BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING A GROUPON FOR THIS BUSINESS!! I purchased a Groupon in September for a Massage. It took quite a long time to get an appointment but I finally did and the massage was good. So I purchase an additional Groupon for three Massages (It clearly states on the Groupon listing that these can be repurchased every 30 days) So now, as I'm trying to make these 3 appointments, and they tell me that I can't use the Groupon because I used one in September. Again, It clearly states on the Groupon listing that these can be repurchased every 30 days... They have refused to honor the Groupon or Refund my Money. Well since my last review in November they are STILL AT IT and wont leave me alone! I couldn't believe it when I found a letter in the mail from them yesterday!! It stated: " I have received your case records and it is obvious that you have discontinued your care program. Of course I hope that you are doing well and will not suffer setbacks. Through we did not have the time necessary to relieve you of your symptoms, I feel that your condition would respond favorably to chiropractic. A percentage of symptoms and problems recur when corrective treatment is lacking and many problems then become chronic or return in still another form. It is my sincere hope that you are satisfied with the treatment you have received at my office and that every member of my staff has extended the utmost in courtesy and attention to you and your needs. By far the worst massage I've ever received. I was in there for 60 minutes and I think I left with Indian burn....no attempt to work out any knots...in fact I believe she caused one as I left in pain. Barely used lotion and all she did was rub....for about 50 minutes......I thought my back was going to overheat..... Worst. visit. ever. The first five minutes of his "consultation" felt more like an interview with some kind of career counselor. The Chiropractor tried advising me to work at an Islamic School, and when I wouldn't agree, he indirectly insulted me (twice) - accusing me of only being in my profession for the money. A DOCTOR was accusing me as a TEACHER that I was in my Profession for MONEY bc I refused to take his advice, quit my job(s) and go and work for the Islamic School he thought I should be working at. WHAT?!!! I'm not the one living in a fancy schmancy house, driving around a BMW, owning my own practice, etc. I felt like I was on the defense and had to justify and argue my current work status. Furthermore, the massage therapy the Dr recommended was EXTREMELY PAINFULl. I must have said, "Ouch!" at least 6 times, but the massage therapist insisted on massaging those very areas that hurt and claimed that after 2 days, I would feel much better. However, it has been two days and my neck muscles are more sore, and my ankle is WORSE, not better as a result of the therapy here. I am sure there are other Chiropractors who are much more professional and can stick to talking about MY HEALTH (I will head to the career counselor for advice if I need it, which I don't - thank you very much). And the massage therapist told me afterwards that she applied "medium" pressure on me, despite my continuing remarks about how hurtful it felt. Roselle Chiropractic is a great place to get your aches, pains, and discomfort taken care of. Having shoulder issues I came to them for treatment. Dr. Tariq Ahmed gave several suggestions as to what would alleviate the problem. My diagnosis was spot on and was told to stretch certain ways along with receiving massages. After 2-3 weeks of continuous treatment my discomfort went away altogether. Megan & Elin are amazing with their massages and they were able to fine tune each session to my liking and what was working better for me. The staff is very friendly and you can typically get all things handled without paying anything because the insurance covers all treatments, even the massages. This is one doctors office I enjoy going to. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing answers to their lingering problems and seeking standard chiropractic work, rehab, or therapeutic massages. read more

I wish my insurance still covered chiropractic care, these folks were by far the friendliest & still completely professional business people ever! I started coming to their office when my son hurt his back on the playground. I kept coming back monthly for routine adjustments & even got a wonderful massage. Heated massage tables = almost falling asleep tranquility! And they were always flexible with scheduling, taking my copay late when I didn't have it... I purchased 3 x 60 min massages on Groupon. During the initial 1st visit, I was presented with check-in in papers and had to sign an agreement that due to low cost of prices paid for Massages on Groupon, massage therapists expect clients to cover the difference in tips. That stipulation that needed signing was very unappropriated and strange.This should have clearly be specified in Fine print online on Groupon side. My 2 first massages were not great and I was disappointed with massage therapists (one could not apply any good pressure and she is no longer with Roselle Chiropractic; and the other guy seems that he was in pain, was making heavy breathing noises during the therapy and it seems that he is in need of therapy himself). For the last massage I requested another therapist and the office manager told me that for that they have to split my 60 min session into 2 x 30 min sessions regardless of how inconvenient it was for me. I tried to make an appointment multiple times and they either re-schedule or scheduled it for the therapist I do not want. Let me start of with saying I got a grupon for a 60 min massage. Worst massage I've ever had. Can't even call it a massage it was pretty much a rub down. No real massage techniques ware used by my masseuse Barbara Drath. The whole thing was just very fast pace rubbing back and forth I mean come on my bf can do that. She was very nice and the place is pretty nice so I would def go back but to a different masseuse that's has more skill and works a little slower. I'm not writing this to be mean or malicious but to just warn other that the skill level was just not there. I went in for what I thought to be a relaxing massage to relieve aches and pains...what I got was trigger point therapy that left my arm/shoulder locked with extremely LIMITED lateral movement. AWFUL! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! First of all, they "con" people into writing good reviews, because for every positive review you write, you get 50% off any service. They prey on the ignorant and poor. I've been going to chiropractors and massage therapists for years, and this one was just around the corner from where I live. I had a 30 minute massage gift certificate because when I bought a 60 minute massage for my husband a few months ago, he shows up in the morning and no one was there. He waited for almost an hour. So we got a complimentary certificate. I should have just asked for a refund. Go there, and the place it PACKED on a Saturday morning with people who obviously can't afford legitimate health care. First of all the admin was SUPER rude because she kept looking at me skeptically and asking me where and how I got the gift certificate. I told her MULTIPLE times that I got it because of my husband, and she said she "didn't recognize his name." Uh...oh...it was 3 months ago. Does it really matter anyways?? I just want a massage!! Was made to wait for about 15 minutes before being called in....to meet with the doctor. OMG - I just want my massage! He proceeded to give me a scare tactic lecture about how I could have arthritis in my vertebrae and if it's not caught early it's not reversible. I just sat quietly and listened and said I didn't have any questions. Went out to wait again, and finally was called in by a big, burly, unkempt, older man. I just wanted a neck and shoulder massage, and this guy was the WORST!!!! He literally talked through the entire 10 minutes I endured before getting up and leaving. He LITERALLY SAID TO ME: "I HOPE YOU'RE NOT IN HERE TO RELAX, BECAUSE THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE A RELAXING MASSAGE, I'M JUST GOING TO ASK YOU A SERIES OF QUESTIONS." ??????? I kept asking nicely to JUST have a quiet, relaxing massage, but this guy wouldn't shut up! He asked me about 35 questions (NO JOKE!) in 10 minute. Finally I said firmly that I JUST wanted a massage, NOT a consultation and that I wasn't coming back for therapy, so PLEASE just do the massage! His response? "Oh, well you should have clarified that in the first place." WHAT?!?! Isn't that why people come in for a massage?? To relax?!?! After about 30 seconds, this guy has the nerve to say, "You seem very convicted in the things you feel you like and don't like. Would you say you're a very stubborn person who doesn't like to do things they don't want to do?" I just laid there for a minute, and said "I don't know how you want me to answer that or how that's prevalent." He said, "Just answer the question, yes or no - do you consider yourself a stubborn person?" That was the point that I got up and left. INSULTING, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND PROBABLY GOT ABOUT 5 MINUTES OF A "REAL" MASSAGE. Which consisted of him kind of awkwardly poking my shoulder blades. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy didn't even have a real massage therapy license. Long story short - this was the biggest JOKE of an office I've ever been to. Great experience so far. Went to Roselle Chiropractic with my 15 year old for a back pain from sports/track and field. We went to try the deep tissue massage/groupon deal. First appointment had a consultation/exam, doctor Ahmed recommended we split the 60 minute massage into 4 sessions for him to best benefit his condition. We also got chiropractic adjustments. I first visited this clinic when I had a Groupon. I was in incredible pain. Dr. Ahmed was the first dr. after months and months of trying alternative solutions to tell me to get an MRI. I found out I had 2 slipped discs. It was helpful then in knowing exactly what game plan I needed. It was the first time I felt much more optimistic of my situation. Everyone at the clinic is very nice and accommodating. The treatments are going very well. The only criticism I would have is that while the dr. isn't in my network, he did work a deal with me so I wouldn't pay as much out of pocket. But he seemed to focus on the financial piece the first day that I was in so much pain; and that was hard when the pain was all I could think about. This place is terrible. The front desk staff is unfriendly and terribly unorganized. My husband had bought me a groupon certificate for 3 massages. The massage therapist was excellent, but the way I was treated ruined everything for me. I guess because I was a groupon client, I was of no importance to them. They messed up my appointments and on the 3rd massage said they didn't even have an appointment written down for me even though I made it before I left the 2nd time. The best part, they didn't even care. No apology, no askig what they can do to amend the situation, nothing. She actually blamed me and said I probably didn't make one last time. I have scoliosis and was looking for a place to go for adjustments and massages and this place lost me forever. I've never experienced anything like that anywhere! I did meet with the chiropractor a few times but did not find the adjustments were as beneficial as the massage. That may be just me. I've been coming to Roselle Chiropractic and Dr Ahmed for the past few months now and have found them to be quite friendly and accommodating. The pain in my neck, shoulders and lower back, was effecting my job a lot, working at the desk all day long on the computer was quite painful for me. It was effecting my social life as well and also caring for my children. After seeing a physician who prescribed medications that were making me very numb, dizzy and not being able to do anything but sleep, I decided to try a chiropractic care. I visited couple of them in my area and noticed that they cared about money first and then patents, so I kept looking until I finally found a place that was comfortable for me , friendly and really caring about the patients .I have an excellent experience every time I receive treatment at Roselle Chiropractic...They have the best massage therapists and yoga classes too Since I started my care few months ago I no longer have constant pain in my low back and neck all day long. I really enjoy Dr. Ahmed's patient care, him and the staff are caring and are genuinely interested in my heath and well being. I have been a patient since April. Service was always good but they wanted me to come in once or twice a week which I thought was a bit much. I never once received any forms from my insurance company nor a bill from Roselle Chiropractic and I asked about it on two separate occasions but didn't get an answer. Low and behold... Yesterday I got the bill and the insurance forms and I owe Roselle Chiro $300 from an original $900 bill. Also some of the forms from the Insurance company say that I have exceeded the allowable amount of coverage which I would have known about sooner had they billed me sooner. What do you guys do, hire someone to file the insurance claims once a calendar quarter? I am a very unhappy camper right now and will never recommend them to anyone!
