I had food delivered this morning from this location and it was so good! The delivery was quick because the food was made quickly and we had a good Uber Eats driver. I ordered the brisket, cheese, and egg on a toasted sesame. What struck me most was how soft the bagels are. The dough is boiled before being cooked, which is the secret to a good bagel. Here at Rocksalt Rosemary, they add a little something to that water it's boiled in and it makes the bagels so much better! My husband had a hash brown and everything bagel. He reported they were both delicious as well. The hash browns come two for $9. They offer good bagels at an average price. You can even get rainbow bagels! So what are you waiting for readers and foodies? Soft bagels and yumminess awaits you here! See website for hours, menus, locations and more.

Cauliflower bites

The bagels were delicious, but I felt the cream cheese and smoked salmon were so stingy. It's $16.50 on UberEats and I get that food is marked up but that's a lot for a smoked salmon cream cheese bagel. I will say again that it was delicious though, but give me another slice of salmon and oz of cream cheese please. They also forgot the sauce for my cauliflower bites.

Kitsilano with rocksalt bagel.

Food - 8.5/10, Got the Kitsilano with rocksalt bagel . Montreal smoked meat, turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard. Love how well the ingredients work with the toasted bagel . Served on a block of wood. Would love to try other bagel sandwiches to give an overall rating of their food. Price: $14.95. Service - Ordered at the counter, and staff will bring it to your table. Water is self-serve. Ambiance - Cool full wall art piece with bagels as people! The art piece highlights Commercial Drive, Translink (bus and bus stop), East Van cross art piece, etc. Location - Easy to find. Located on Commercial Drive. Has paid street parking and bus runs down the street. 2 employees working on Friday night. There was no one there when we were there. But we saw a couple come order take out.

Steveston bagel

Rosemary and rocksalt. That's their namesake bagel, and that's the reason why you visit this bagel shop. In terms of taste, this is a great spot. I got the Steveston bagel sandwich, and I was quite impressed with how it tasted. It's a quality sandwich which makes for a good breakfast, and the rosemary rocksalt bagel is unique and super tasty. The bagel itself, while tasty, is a tad small. Given that these are Montreal-style bagels, they're expected to be somewhat thin with a wide bore in the middle, but given it's price, you wish the bagels were bigger. If you're just eating them with cream cheese, then this will be less of an issue for you. Check out @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food!

Tried @rosemaryrocksalt 's bagels The service was friendly and their bagels are fresh! I admired that they sell day old bagels! That way there is less food waste. I ordered the Kitsilano bagel. It had ham, smoked meats, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard and mayo. It was yummy! Their tomatoes garlic soup was also good! Follow @paus_choice on instagram for more food adventures!

$10? Nah...not worth it.

Just got my order from Door Dash.. So over-priced. Never again $10 and barely any meat inside.

Whistler on poppy seed bagel
Kay F.

I came here to grab some bagels for lunch after work on a Saturday. I ended up getting the Hastings Sunrise and the Whistler. No real complaints about either but nothing spectacular either. I wished the Montreal smoked meat had a bit more flavour but this is comparing it to the Schwartz in Montreal which may be a bit unfair.

This is my favourite spot in the city for bagels ! I'm absolutely obsessed with the rosemary Rocksalt bagel. It has an incredible chewy and bite to it. The fresh Rosemary is scattered in the dough. And the exterior of the bagel is speckled with coarse salt. Whenever I'm in the area, I make sure to pick up half a dozen of their bagels

This is the long blonde hair that I found in my sandwich. I out it up to my black throw to see

Honestly I've always love rosemary rocksalt. I used to order their food every morning for breakfast. Today I ordered for breakfast from uber eats only to get my food with a long blonde hair wrapped around my sandwich through my meat. I am beyond disgusted by this. Especially know you're supposed to wear a hair net anytime you deal with food. This was gross. I'm not happy about this by any means. I've never actually been into the location as I always order. Their food has always tasted good and been good but this just legit sent me over the edge. Long blonde hair I took a picture in front the bag and in front of my black throw so you can see it more accurately. I'm so appaled ughh Update Upon further inspection I've found a bug in my food looks like a baby coach roach. This is disgusting fuckin SHAME. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN

Rainbow bagel and specialty cream cheese
Lee M.

So amazing! I had the rainbow bagel with almond and honey cream cheese. I regret not getting a whole tub of the cream cheese. This place had extremely friendly staff and my order was made very quickly. They have stickers on the floor and clear signage for Covid safety protocols which was so useful because it was busy when I visited. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you!

Pretty disappointed in the quality and sizing of the bagel. The soup container was double the size of the bagel. I felt like it was not worth the $15+ plus an extra charge for the gluten free bagel. It is not fair charging customers this price.

Montreal smoked beef and bagel to go.
Becky M.

This is the first time I tried this location. I was happy to find the rainbow bagels here; they look so pretty. There are several options for bagels. I was surprised that the bagels were 2.50 each, and that's to go (with nothing on them). I was happy to see they sold the Montreal smoked beef separately as an option, so I could make my own sandwich at home. It was 5.99/100 g. The meat was fresh and authentic Montreal meat. I wasn't blown away by anything, but I would probably have to try some of their in house sandwiches as well to determine the overall experience. I saw a couple bags of day old bagels that sell for cheaper, so that might be the way to go.

The smoked meat is good but the turkey is not REAL, but rather the deli variety which has sulfites and stuff in it.

Bagels are always great. I wouldn't recommend the sandwiches (pricey), but it's a great place to get a dozen bagels for school lunch.

Came in the afternoon. There was so line whatsoever, no one before or after me. Looked like they had some online orders. The lady who took my order was impatient when I was ordering and kept rolled her eyes when I asked if there was anything else I should try. So I only ended up ordering the one popular bagel I see everyone get. Pick up was awkward, they didn't call out a number or wave me over. They just left it on the counter till I asked. I stood near them the whole time so I would've miss my order. Overall, wouldn't come back bc of that experience but also the bagel was okay. Either way it's probably worth a try if you're in this market place anyways.

Well, let me say first of all, that I would probably never come back, but certainly not without a coupon! Their sandwiches are ridiculously over-priced. They must slice their cheese with a razor blade, because you can practically see through it. I paid $7.11 for a ham & cheese bagel - and I found out they charge $.40 extra for a cheese bagel. They also do not let you use the coupon for salmon (lox) or the 'club' sandwiches. I asked for my bagel NOT toasted, but after eating my sandwich, I'm thinking I should've had it toasted because the bagel is not fresh. It's hard and way too chewy. I love bagels, and this is one of the worst I've had, especially considering that it's coming from a bagel shop. I can go to Subway for a FOOTLONG ham & cheese sandwich with all the fixings ($6.71) for less than what you pay for a little bagel sandwich. And Subway doesn't charge extra for their cheese bread.
