Fun to go through on a hot day with the kids. Doesn't take very long, we walked through about 4 times! Gift shop has ALOT of breakable items. I do not recommend looking with kids. read more

Went on a Saturday morning and we were the only people around . I'm not a fan of killing and stuffing animals unless they are already dead . I didn't like how they had a trophy room honoring people killing Elephants and lions and all other living animals . There was no explanation on any of the butterfly exhibits . I don't know how they in humanly killed the butterfly either . They had big grizzly bears stuffed but it was too creepy and sad . read more

Had some time to spare and looked up things to do in the area and Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum popped up. Glad my daughter and I stopped in. We only had about an hour to spare. We had to walk quickly through but what we saw was interesting and loved the layout. I would definitely recommend if you want to get out and try something new. Informative and honestly, better than the museum that we have in Las Vegas. The lady at the counter was super friendly as well. read more

This happened to be across the street from where we ate, basically, and it was too late to go see a national park, so we came here. So I guess if you can't go to the zoo, you come here to see a bunch of animals that some guy shot. We did not know what the museum was prior to entry. There's nothing telling you about it. I figured-- or hoped-- these taxidermied beasts had been obtained like our local Natural History museum obtains them-- dead from natural causes. But no. I found out about the museum's origins by looking at a $1 museum brochure after we were finished, and read about the Rosenbruch's foundation. Basically, the guy had a hunting business and he had a bunch of trophies, so he made this place. So I had to search for the info, and most people wouldn't know, because they don't want to pay for a brochure. Animals are categorized sometimes by continent, and sometimes by type. So there's an area of African jungle, and African plains, and then there's an area of oxen from all over the place. Didn't see anything from South America. Guess he didn't get down there. read more

Probably one of the most interesting and enjoyable places to avoid the dry heat of St. George. The museum is about 2.5 floors of taxidermy wildlife from 20 or so different areas and terrains. It's a walk through exhibit, so it's not like you look at everything behind a glass. Admission if $8 for adults & $6 for children. (Military discount $2 off) They send you in with a handheld audio remote. Each exhibit has a dedicated number that you type into the remote which will give you information on the exhibit. We had a pretty good time there and killed about 3 hours, so I feel it was very worth the price. read more

Beautiful place, they did a great job. Lots of animals in their habitats and they take good care of their displays. They give you a handheld guide upon paying and the price is really reasonable. The people who work there are nice and helpful too. Only issue was no signs to read as little one didn't want to listen, didn't tell you anything about pictographs on walls and way too small as we wanted more! read more

Nice to see all the different animals... but I agree with another reviewer, it feels awkward to know these hunters hunted down some rare animals for this display. This display allows you to get up close to see the animals which you can't do in a lot of zoos. That said seeing the pictures of bloody animals with hunters smiling from ear to ear made me feel uncomfortable, though I'm sure others may feel differently. There's not a lot of educational material displayed to learn about the animals and the insects don't even have names displayed. read more

8 bucks for adults, 6 for 55+, 4 for 3-12 year olds. Does that mean 13-17 year olds are free along with the ones under 3 years of age? I've always cracked up at how elaborate many places have their pricing...because really, 13-17 year olds aren't adults. So how much do they cost to enter? Thought I'd share one of the smart ass things my brain will chuckle over. Believe me...this isn't the only place. BUT, enough of my dry humor. I think for the price you pay its pretty worthed! It's the experience, really! In what right mind would you find yourself in a big room with all the deserts wildlife and more you can imagine staring at you as you stare at them. It truly is a remarkable thing to stare at. Unless you get creeped out easily. Our boys absolutely loved being in there staring at such animals they've only read about or seen on tv. I find that having children and going into such museums makes it alot.more exciting because you feel their excitement and curiousity. That's all that matters. We have a similar one in Vegas, but this has it beat hands down. If you aren't into such then you'd probably feel jipped. I personally didn't and found it pretty interesting. Definitely recommend. Kid and stroller friendly! It's 2 levels and they do have an elevator. And remember...no feeding the animals. Lol. There's that dry humor again. Enjoy! read more

Excellent place to take our 2 year old granddaughter. Stuffed animals in their natural setting, children's room and gift shop. They also give you a telephone thing where you can punch in the area of the exhibit you are in and it will give you a detailed narration of the animals that you are viewing. St. George is a beautiful city with shopping malls and retail outlets. 2 hours from Las Vegas, a nice getaway if you don't want to be stuck in the casinos all day. Nice scenic drive. read more

This museum has a great layout and a lot of thought and effort went into the habitats. I brought my animal loving children here and I'm very sorry that I did. We are by no means animal activists or vegetarian type people however the amount and variety of dead animals seems wasteful! They will certainly never forget this display of one mans dead trophies and they would have rather not seen it. We were amazed that one person had enough time to kill over 300 animals. They even had a giraffe! read more

We love museums and when it says wildlife we are there. It is a self guided tour with a wand they give you to press a number in per different areas and here more information. It was $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids. They didn't have the animals just standing there they actually had them in areas they actually would be living in and some positioned in what they would be doing. Like prancing through the thickness of the land. Or stalking their prey. The colors on some of these animals were so beautiful. Like we have seen them on the animal planet but to see them up close was amazing. It is well worth stopping in and looking. read more

Took our nieces and nephews here while in town over the weekend. We've been there before but had forgotten how big the place is and how many species they had. The kids love the predators and especially the huge bug and butterfly collections. read more

Very educational for kids who are animal sleuths. Very informative exhibits and cool relaxing atmosphere for a break on a long drive.

This is creepy and weird. It is a bunch of dead animals in an oddly empty space with sparse backgrounds. My kids call it the dead animal zoo. It takes 10 minutes to go through it and is not worth the money. It is one man's giant trophy to his giant ego. read more
