Apparently there are a few airshows that they hold throughout the year and at that time they have tons more planes. The lady told us that we had just missed that about a month earlier. But they still had a couple of the planes that flew in still there. They have a few you can walk up inside sit in the seat, etc. Lots of information if you're an aviation buff a couple of cool things we were told as the uniform there was from the top gun movie that was donated. All and all a nice little stop if you're close by or if you fly into the airport nearby, check their hours and give them a visit and donate.

Onboard the Candy Dropper airplane is the history of a truly humanitarian pilot that broke some rules to enhance the lives of others! I have seen better acting in high school performances. The lighting and sound systems were very, outdated and did nothing to enhance the stage and cast. The only enjoyment I got was leaving the building as fast as I could, and yes, it was warmer outside than it was in the theater.

The museum is housed inside an old sugar beet storage facility and was turned into an art museum in 1997. We learned all of this while doing another scavenger hunt inside the museum. It was geared toward children, but it was fun for us to look at the art from a different perspective. While it's not the largest museum nor does it have the largest collection of pieces on exhibit, but it's a fun place to spend a little bit of time.

The history of St. George is very rich in Utah Mormon Pioneers, so it's no surprise that you'll…read morefind a museum to tell their stories. This one is full of photographs, clothing and furniture from families that moved into the area in the 1800's. The building is not a repurposed house, according to one of the museum staff, it was built with the intention of being a museum. I always wonder about old museums-what would have been in a museum in the 1800's since all the things they were using every day were modern then. Anyway, this one has lots of relics of yesteryear and plenty of folks who are eager to tell you all about the things you're looking at.
