I'm not sure what is missing, but it feels very suburban or country which it is and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but it doesn't taste like authentic crêpes. I really do like the fact that it's a cute spot decent coffee and decent breakfast in small town USA with friendly service and you feel like you're supporting a local business. We will keep coming back, but I do wish some of the crêpes for me being more authentic versions of what they are today.

To order in person walk to the right and then turn left (a u-turn if you will) to get in line. Menus are posted on the walls to easily see as you wait in line. A variety of baked goods are available in a display case by the cashier. We ordered a raspberry lavender latte, a beverage from the cooler and two crepes. When we were walking away with our table number in hand I heard the cashier tell the barista I ordered a maple latte. I corrected her, I ordered the lavender. I received a Mocha. How did a raspberry lavender become chocolate? No idea how that went so wrong. A metal stand is on each table. Insert your table number and place it where staff can see. The indoor dining area has high ceilings, a big window wall at one end and is quite loud with sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. Tables are set up from couples to a group configurations. In the back corner are two love seats and a coffee table. My egg and cheese crepe was extremely filling. Lots and lots of cheese in there. It kept me full all day in a 'I need a nap' kind of way. The cheese was the primary flavor in this dish. My dining companion had a stomach issue after eating a spicy reuben. It wasn't actually spicy at all so not sure what caused the stomach upset. The concept is fun. Put a sandwich into a crepe. The crepe doesn't add flavor to the dish and it's a knife and fork meal vs. a handheld. Add in both of our less than optimal reactions to the dish and wrong coffee delivery and we personally won't add this to our 'try again' list. They do have plenty of other items to try, and I do appreciate local businesses so I'm not saying it won't work for you. This was just my experience. Free on street parking. Restrooms down the hall near the back door where you'll also find a water fountain.

They offer coffees, teas, soft drinks and mimosas (I think I remember that on the menu). I had a fresh brewed, unsweetened ice tea w/lemon. Hit the spot on a hot day. Now their Summer home is across the road in the Harvest Barn at the Meadow View facilities by the golf course. A small bar was set up in the Chesterfield room, but it appeared to only be open for the Capital Steps performances, and it was not a full bar since it only offered a limited selection of beer and wine. The Harvest Barn can accommodate 300 people for the show and it was almost full when the show started. The moveable chairs were all padded, but I have to admit that about halfway through the 90 minute show my rear was getting uncomfortable as I started to fidget. Otherwise, it is a very nice facility for this type of performance. The sound system is more than adequate so there is no problem hearing or seeing the performers on the platform/stage from anywhere in the room. I'm not going to review the show here. Yes, it was very funny and enjoyable. Instead, l want you to be aware of this excellent facility with its outdoor deck and view of beautiful wooded surroundings.

They came up with a table, offered us options for chairs, had all of the food wrapped in plastic and covered in warming lids, but done in a way that did not interfere with even the delicate plating details. The portions were substantial and food quality was outstanding. They even provided gluten-free options that went above and beyond to accommodate an allergy. I wish I could give 4.5 because there were some minor areas for improvement, but I will round up given COVID was likely a contributing factor.

I called the desk to ask about this & was told this was a new thing they were offering ! We ate dinner in town that evening.. I could go on & on with our crimes & misdemeanors. I spoke to this TIGHT A.S JERK when we were checking out . I asked if the General Manger was available. He has a total passive aggressive personality. I expressed my disappointment about the weekend. He went through the list list & more of the above. Wait a minute , aren't I the quest. Isn't this his job ? Doesn't it come with the territory! If he was so disapproving of us he could have asked us to checkout. He didn't do that though. He wanted our $3900. He may not have like us but he liked our money.

I only purchased a day pass, which probably costs twice what the experience was actually worth. The best part of the day were the yoga classes. The instructor was very knowledgeable, offered hands-on adjustments, and made the classes challenging. The facial was fine, but not that good; she had me sitting by myself with a sheet mask on for 10 minutes, and didn't even bother to give me a hand or foot massage during that time like most spas would offer. Probably the most disappointing part of the day was the food. For what I paid for the day, everything on the menu should have been EXCELLENT. It was not. Honestly, I wasn't drawn to any of the entrees, so I just ordered a bunch of the appetizers as my meal. They weren't that good, to be honest. The crab cake did not have Maryland crab in it (I'm from Maryland, and that's the only way to make a proper crab cake!), and the tabouleh was just quinoa. You could easily take the money you would spend on a day pass and treat yourself to a facial/massage, yoga class, and nice meal for less money and have a better experience.

I know it's outside, but nothing a power wash couldn't fix. It just makes it look cheap. Air conditioner in the window - a little awkward with the blinds - one of those consoles in the wall would be great. The room was tiny! I also find it expensive ($230 for one night, includes taxes and fees) for the overall experience. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but instead would stay right in historic Lenox (especially for the price)

I've been living in the Berkshires for 30 years and I never went to Roses restaurant before today. I was pleasantly surprised to discover what an awesome breakfast restaurant it is. It's just what we were hoping for!! I love the menu options, it's not your basic bacon and eggs restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection, the servers were pleasant, attentive and had a really great attitude. We were seated right away and received our food within 15 minutes although all of the tables were full. For the quality of the food we received the prices were definitely reasonable! Roses will be my new go to breakfast spot. My only suggestion: maybe they should change the name so people don't come back looking for what used to be. read more

Let's get the good things out of the way. The service was good. Prompt, and the coffee let's just say it was coffee. In terms of the food... skip this place. The eggs were cooked well , I had sunny side up but my wife had Huevos Ranchos, it was more like a Mexican slaughter. All kinds of stuff thrown on the plate which didn't go together and tasted like it was made another day. In terms of the bread, a nice piece of toast in the morning is wonderful, however, five day old, rotten dense sourdough, barely, was not worth the price of admission. Wouldn't go back. My wife and I recently had a fantastic breakfast experience at Roses Restaurant in the Berkshires. The food was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and incredibly flavorful. We were greeted with warm smiles by the staff as soon as we walked in. Pro tip: It's best to arrive early as it tends to fill up quickly. Food is absolutely AMAZING!!! The place looks great and the staff is super friendly. I had the churrasco and eggs, OMG!! The meat was perfectly cooked, medium rear as I requested and I couldn't get over the chimichurri sauce, INSANELY good, the best I've ever had, no joke ( I had to ask for some extra ) and I could also taste the bread was homemade!! I came to Roses with a few of my photographer friends as we're here in Lee for a retreat. As we walked into this quaint little place, we all felt as though we were walking into Grandma's house. Parts of the walls are covered in adorable floral wallpaper, the setting is cozy and comfortable, and the food is sublime. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Roses and will recommend it to our friends! read more

I'm not sure what is missing, but it feels very suburban or country which it is and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but it doesn't taste like authentic crêpes. I really do like the fact that it's a cute spot decent coffee and decent breakfast in small town USA with friendly service and you feel like you're supporting a local business. We will keep coming back, but I do wish some of the crêpes for me being more authentic versions of what they are today.

To order in person walk to the right and then turn left (a u-turn if you will) to get in line. Menus are posted on the walls to easily see as you wait in line. A variety of baked goods are available in a display case by the cashier. We ordered a raspberry lavender latte, a beverage from the cooler and two crepes. When we were walking away with our table number in hand I heard the cashier tell the barista I ordered a maple latte. I corrected her, I ordered the lavender. I received a Mocha. How did a raspberry lavender become chocolate? No idea how that went so wrong. A metal stand is on each table. Insert your table number and place it where staff can see. The indoor dining area has high ceilings, a big window wall at one end and is quite loud with sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. Tables are set up from couples to a group configurations. In the back corner are two love seats and a coffee table. My egg and cheese crepe was extremely filling. Lots and lots of cheese in there. It kept me full all day in a 'I need a nap' kind of way. The cheese was the primary flavor in this dish. My dining companion had a stomach issue after eating a spicy reuben. It wasn't actually spicy at all so not sure what caused the stomach upset. The concept is fun. Put a sandwich into a crepe. The crepe doesn't add flavor to the dish and it's a knife and fork meal vs. a handheld. Add in both of our less than optimal reactions to the dish and wrong coffee delivery and we personally won't add this to our 'try again' list. They do have plenty of other items to try, and I do appreciate local businesses so I'm not saying it won't work for you. This was just my experience. Free on street parking. Restrooms down the hall near the back door where you'll also find a water fountain.
