Stopped here with my family during a brief visit to the Berkshires. We decided to dine in, and we had to order at the counter. The food was served to our table. The ingredients were fresh. I appreciated the complementary water jug near the condiments station.

Came here for lunch today with my family and we all really enjoyed our meals! Wide variety of fun drinks right when you walk in-seltzer, kombucha, tea, etc. large menu with breakfast and lunch. They had a ton of premade baked goods as well like cakes, cookies, muffins, and more. Our food came pretty fast. Not too crowded on a Thursday afternoon. Indoor and outdoor seating. This would be a great spot for takeout as well. Loved all the healthy options here. Something for everyone.

Very juicy burger. Portion is a bit small but tastes good. A good place to stop by and grab something to eat.

The foghorn was juicy, hot and fresh. The chicken avocado sandwich was also excellent. The fried chicken sandwich was just okay, was made with dark meat and not crispy. The staff were friendly and the food came out quick. The tables and facility were clean.

Great spot! Varied menu. had the curried chicken salad wrap which was very fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced. Didn't wait long for it to come out either. Left with a half caf coffee for the trip back which was very strong and hot. Def a place I'd stop again if I'm passing through Great Barrington!

After several attempts to lock in a dinner reservation on a July 4th weekend for Great Barrington or Stockbridge areas, we seriously came up with zilch- because every single place we called was filled. But, when you're driving through town and nowhere to go, Marketplace Kitchen Table is a perfect place to stumble into. From the grey outside and pretty landscape, the name fits Marketplace- even more so when you head inside. The folks at Marketplace Kitchen wanted, "a place where food can be celebrated alongside friends, family and good tunes"- and they're right because we were sold. Especially the old school R&B playing. Yeah...in this Great Barrington joint. The menu ranges from breakfast to sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers and the inevitable baked goods (not sure if they're made on the premises). Plus, it's Vegan and Vegetarian-friendly. Hubs went with the doubled stacked burger and said it was a bit bland but my Vegan Quinoa and Veggie wrap ingredients tied in nicely. Except, I initially wanted it without the offered dressing, but somehow my request wasn't acknowledged and got it with. Overall, the entire Vegan wrap tasted ok. Price for those 2 items, cream soda, juice and potato chips was fine at $40+. This breakfast-lunch-dinner spot has three other locations (different names)- so if you're staying in the area or just driving through like we did, Marketplace- or any other of their restaurants, is nice to have on your to-go list.

I'm back again! Whenever I'm in the area, this has become my place to stop for lunch. Very quick but gives you the option to take your food to go or sit down and eat. There's also place to sit outside but for whatever reason it always rains when I'm here. Again, very friendly staff and food is very flavorful. There is now a new take out window which I'm sure would allow for an easier pick up process. Ample amount of parking. This is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. *They are closed on Mondays

We arrived for our reservation and were offered a very small two-top. Because we were dining with our dog, we politely asked if it would be possible to wait for a larger table where she would not be in the way of other guests or staff. We were not demanding a different table -- we were told it would take approximately 30 minutes for another table in a different section to become available, and we happily said we were willing to wait. We sat quietly outside with our dog while waiting. The owner then approached us and told us that waiting for another table would interfere with future seating. We were surprised by this, as we had simply accepted the wait time that was provided to us and had not caused any disruption. The interaction escalated when the owner used profanity toward my husband and threw the water bowl that had been provided for our dog in our direction. We were shocked by the hostility and left without eating. We completely understand that restaurants have to manage reservations and seating, and we would have accepted being told that our request could not be accommodated. What was unacceptable was the way we were spoken to and treated by the owner. We came here excited to spend our money at this restaurant as part of our trip, but we are grateful that Great Barrington has many other excellent establishments where we were welcomed and happy to spend our money instead. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite of the hospitality we expected.

Couldn't bring himself to apologize. Here's what you endure: 1. Waitress brings a carafe of water but no glasses. You have to ask twice. Later when soup is dropped off you have to wait for the server to return so you can ask for a spoon. 2. Lots of specials are no longer available. Then why are they still on the board? Your waitress lists what they're out of so you decide to have the sandwich. "We're out of that too." OKAAAY 3. You want a salad without nuts and you indicated that when you made the reservation and the menu says clearly "Please notify your server if you have any allergies." Your waitress says it's not possible to make accommodations. You have to ask three times before she puts in the order. 4. You've been enjoying cocktails--which are great--but it's been an hour and food still hasn't arrived (it's 8:45 and restaurant is mostly empty). Your busser shows up to see if we're done and need any more plates taken away. No, you politely say, you need your entrees. 5. You wonder aloud for the third time if your server has left for the night. 6. You're not offered dessert or anything else. You can't wait to leave a place you used to love. You won't go back.
