This farmers market has a great selection of fruits and veggies, plus you can get fresh roasted…read morecoffee, raw honey, all natural soap, homemade jams and more. They have a punch card system that gets you $5 to spend at the produce stand of your choice. That's a good incentive to go every week, and if you go every week you can really get to know other regulars, and the farmers and artisans. Everyone is really friendly and genuine. It's a true community market.

I've never been before, so it was nice to have a chance to stroll down the middle of the street between the displays and to see all their wares. The market stretched for quite a few blocks down Clematis Street which was closed to car traffic. There were a lot of people selling clothing and jewelry. A couple folks had collectibles/antiques. I'm not sure why it's still called a "green" market as we didn't see much edibles/food nor produce. The street was quite busy. I'm not sure how much selling the vendors were doing, however. I thought prices of many of the items were quite high. Then again the folks slumming from the "island" (palm beach) wouldn't mind a bit. Although we didn't buy anything, we always enjoy browsing.

This time of year I don't always like to deal with traffic and parking at the more popular markets in Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm and this provides a nice, albeit smaller, alternative. Bonus - this market is completely covered by the bridge so no need to worry too much about sun and rain while visiting vendors. This was a wonderful market. First off it was a lovely day -- the first in a long time without…read morepouring rain. It was overcast and cloudy, so comfortable to walk around. And we walked the entire length of all the booths. The market itself was in an area that we'd never been to by some various parks and Royal Palm venues. The booths were wrapping around part of the lake and along a path parallel to the main street. We found a parking spot under the trees when another car pulled out. Everyone was quite friendly, too, as we walked around. Vendors of jewelry, clothing, honey, handmade soaps, pet products like dog chews and dog beds, guacamoles, breads, candles, cookies and brownies, plants, microgreens, gift items, et al. One area had a few food trucks and was near an outdoor picnic table. We did try some delicious and refreshing "made that morning" conch salad. I'd definitely like to come back again. It was fun to browse and get in a comfortable walk as well as getting some ideas for holiday gifts.

In addition they provide a wide variety of goods such as fresh produce, vitamins, packaged groceries, deli, baked goods, dairy products, frozen foods, household items, meat and seafood. They also have their own private label products. What impressed me about this chain is its charitable contribution to the public. Sprouts founded the Healthy Communities Foundation which I have read supports local health and various wellness related causes. It was our first visit and we were only in this store for a short time. We only purchased vitamins and fresh fruit and had wonderful assistance from a knowledgeable staff member. I believe it would be a worthwhile experience if one were to spend more time shopping throughout this store.
