I was supposed to transfer to a different spine specialist pain management due to a very bad car accident that I was in with some other awful events that had happened. This year when I changed my insurance instead of trying to get a prior off going to my last doctor, I wanted to come here where I was highly recommended to I was so scared I had anxiety I was definitely unsure and worried how it would go. Right from the start the gal at the front desk was super nice. Kind explained where I needed to sign explained what was what took copies of my ID and insurance card. The next person I dealt with was the nurse she went and got my weight asked me a lot of questions went over my medications, even though I had filled things out online she thoroughly went through things which I really applaud them for doing as sometimes we as people can forget something. I have been in chronic pain. I can't express to you how bad it has been. I have been able to get some relief from getting the procedure done that I get. I was worried that maybe the general anesthesia wouldn't work however, all of the staff listened to me made me feel better about it. Let me joke with them. I am not sure how long the entire process took but it felt like minutes and here. I am praying that how I am feeling last a while for the first time in over 7+ years. I have absolutely no back pain right now. I don't know if that'll change in the morning. I would be happy with a pain level of five even as I've been dealing with a pain level of 10 for quite some time. The doctor came and introduced himself. I had outpatient surgery here not long ago and it went pretty well. The nurses and staff were kind, and that really helped calm my nerves. Everything felt clean and professional, which gave me peace of mind going in. Only reason it's not five stars is check-in took longer than it should've. Level of Care: 10/10 - The nursing staff was excellent. They consistently checked in and provided attentive care. Wait Time: 0/10 - Extremely poor. We arrived at 12:30 PM for a 1:30 PM dental surgery appointment, as instructed to be there by 1:00 PM. Despite this, my 6-year-old child wasn't seen until nearly 2:45 PM. The procedure itself took only 10 minutes, but the delay was unacceptable, especially considering that my child had been fasting--no food or drink after midnight. By the time they were seen, they were visibly upset, hungry, and uncomfortable. Special Mention: Eileen was fantastic--compassionate, understanding, and did her best to help. Recommendation: The center needs to re-evaluate its scheduling and staffing protocols. If patients are expected to fast for over 12 hours, especially children, surgeries must start on time or be reassigned to another available doctor. I'm not sure of some of the negative reviews? My hubby has had many operations here and through different doctors and have never had a bad experience. This place is top notch when it comes to quality patient care. We've come here countless times over the years. My husband has had surgery for deviated septum, shoulder issues, and recently knee issues. The staff here is incredible, they make you feel at ease before procedure and always go above and beyond afterwards. They've always scheduled his surgeries accordingly and have always been on top of emailing the proper paperwork. The office is small but they do many different types of procedures here. It's very convenient that they have a patient pick up spot designated only for those who have had surgery. On this last visit, hubs had a torn miniscus. Miguel, was an expert in finding my husband's vein for an IV. Believe me, there's nothing worse than getting poked more than you need to. Miguel got it in one try. Post op, the nurses here are very thorough in making sure you are at the absolute tolerable pain level before you go home. Our nurse, Lani, was very patient and carefully went over all the post recovery instructions. This review is long overdue, I can't commend enough how great this facility is. We always know we're in good hands when we come here. But hoping this will be our last visit. read more

My surgery and recovery was fantastic! I would give 1000 stars for that. I'm only giving 1 stars because the business office cannot seem to know what they are doing. I had tubal ligation surgery in January. Was told it was not covered under Contraception therefore would need to pay my $1000 deductible. I tried to fight this as it's literally contraception. I ended up paying for my surgery before it was done. 2 months later I go to check my EOB from insurance and low and behold it's covered 100%. I stupidly assumed they would automatically send me a refund...nope. I called late April asking how I would go about getting that refund. They had to send it to the business office to be approved. I was confused as to how it wouldn't be approved as they got paid twice! Said they would call me back to verify when it was approved, she never called. Called in May still not approved and they would contact the office and call me back, she did not. It was finally approved in June (when I called) but checks are only cut once a month so had to wait for July. Mid July still no check. I call in July and they need to talk to office as to why it wasn't cut, she would call me back same day, she did not. I just called yesterday and same information. She promises she will call me back say day, guess what she did not! I am so beyond done. If you don't care about wasting $ then go here. My surgeon was fantastic! But the office is terrible to deal with if you respect your time. read more

A more reliable center would have exhausted all efforts to let me know of the changed time before I arrived. They even had my husband's phone number and decided not to even call him. Quite odd pulling in to a retail shopping center to have surgery, but RSC got it done in fine fashion. Front office staff were great with contact pre surgery to make sure I had address, time and proper forms completed prior to surgery etc, which made check in a breeze. Back of house (nurses) were just as helpful in preparing for my procedure and keeping me updated on what was going to happen before, during and after surgery and I was kept comfortable throughout the entire process with warm blankets and pain management as needed post surgery. Great team! My husband had knee surgery performed for torn ACL and meniscus. Everyone that attended to him was awesome from the nurses to the doctors. I was able to stay with hubby in the prep room until they wheeled him in surgery room. Doctor was running late because of an earlier surgery appt but it's okay. just now This doctor, Javid Javidan and the office in Roseville, Roseville Surgery Center, completely wasted my time and effort today, Tuesday Feb 23rd. I was scheduled for a surgery today and was ill informed by someone at Roseville Surgery Center yesterday on how to approach my surgery date. I was told that I can drink a meal replacement shake in the morning of as long as by 11am all I had was water. I went in to have my surgery, which they changed the times on me multiple times within the same day, and was told by the doctor and their lazy anesthesiologist at the center that they're canceling my appointment because of that shake which was about 7 hours before. 7 hours before and only a shake. One would assume that my stomach was empty cuz it sure as hell felt like it. Horrible, unprofessional doctor and a horrible place to have surgeries, the Roseville Surgery Center. They are lazy and very unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that the director there was trying his best to circumvent giving me the information that I wanted so I can file a complaint against him to his superiors. Horrible horrible. This doctor is full of shit and very unprofessional. One is not going to regurgitate a damn meal replacement shake due to the anesthesia. I'm sorry but that was a very weak excuse to cancel my appointment which was the last one of the day. Wow. I got a bill for $2800 and another surprise billing of $100 on top of that for a cortisone shot. And I was supposed to be sedated, and I didn't even get slightly sleepy until AFTER the procedure. And on top of that, the shot made absolutely NO difference. I recently had a procedure done here for the first time and had a very good experience. The staff all seem very experienced and personable. They thoroughly explained what will happen and answered all my questions, from the front office staff to the medical staff. So much went wrong from incompetent surgery prep nurses to a woman named Tracy, the front office person, and the MULTIPLE times she has been rude to both my husband and me in person and over the phone. God forbid you have any trouble with insurance or billing because after Tracy is super rude to you, and raises her voice in a completely unprofessional manner, you'll get to deal with a completely incompetent billing center in Houston that doesn't call you back and is of no help at all. Shame on You Tracy. And shame on your so called billing department in Texas that you push all responsibility to. The staff at Roseville Surgery Center proved over and over that they don't care about me, my privacy, my modesty, my bank account, or my credit when the wrong "code" is used on their paperwork. Writing a review with my mom. She has a hernia and was referred here through Workers Comp. early February for surgery. They promised in that they would call her the last week of March to schedule, because they were all booked for the month. They would call her at the end of the month to schedule surgery. Didn't happen. She called the first week of April, disappointed they hasn't contacted her to schedule, as they had promised. They told her they aren't taking new patients. No warning. It will probably take her 2+ months to find a new surgeon. Completely avoidable if this was a competent center who cared about incoming patients. Obviously they are all about making money and not about basic decency or consideration. One phone call could have prevented lots of lost time, money, and pain. (The phone call that they promised but didn't deliver.) This center wasted her time and has caused her suffering for absolutely NO reason. I'm sure this doctors office knew ahead of time they would not be taking new patients. It is typically not a secret from staff? Why not contact those waiting for SURGERY from your office? Disgustingly unprofessional. This is not a seasonal allergy specialist. This is a surgery center. In this recent move to stop seeing new patients WITHOUT NOTICE, I am sure they have wasted the time and money of countless OTHER PEOPLE, including workers comp. Why behave this way? Isn't this supposed to be a respected surgery center? Pitiful. I believe the positive reviews on here are because of the quality surgeons. I went in for back surgery, front office and nurses were exceptional. The anesthesiologist, "Vince" was horrible! He wouldn't answer my questions, "you don't need to worry about it". Since I would be on my stomach I explained that I have a port in my chest. He said, "well you're going to get bruised up from the position you will be in". Fortunately, my surgeon was more caring and was able to pad the area. Then when I wasn't moving quickly enough for him to reposition on the gurney and transfer to the operating table, he grabbed me under my arms and pulled me up leaving bruises under both arms. I never received an apology which I asked for. I will not recommend this facility because of him. read more

This is my favorite surgery center to operate at. Professional and capable staff. Clean ORs. Very low infection rates, much lower than the hospital. This is the surgery center I chose to have my own surgery at. RSC is efficient and discrete. It is located off E. Roseville Parkway and close to everything. This makes it easy for family to accompany you. You can literally drop the kids off at school, have your surgery, and be home before school is out. Truely a local gem! read more

The ladies at the front desk were nice but the nurses in the back were terrible. One nurse didn't seem to know what she was doing and the other nurse made numerous mean remarks to me. The male nurse that took care of me during my surgery was very impatient with me and practically dragged me into to OR. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Take the longest to receive patients pre op. First my app was 945. Rescheduled 2 days before to 1115. Then delayed another hour until 1215 am. I was told not to eat anything after midnight the day before surgery. I'm not sure how they think that people can go over 12 hours without drinking or eating anything. I'm in the worst mood due to hunger and thirst and there's nothing I can do about it. Receptionist and assistance are very nice and i know it's not their fault. But it's not mine either. I was really worried about my daughter's back surgery especially when u hear all the horror stories about back surgery ! Doctor Smith was her surgeon. I'm so confident that he did a excellent job and not to mention his bed side manner couldn't ask for anything better. My daughters nurse Kim in the recovery room took very good care of her, she is very good at what she does. my daughter was blessed to have a wonderful team!
