I went to urgent care yesterday. My shoulder is super painful, I can't lean my head back with out crying. I had to hold my arm in order to avoid moving the shoulder. I was given some lidocaine shots in my muscles some muscle relaxers and they said they "don't give pain killers". If you have pain do not visit them at all. They will not help you. I'm a long term patient at Sutter. Never taking narcotics before from them. I see my pcp a few times a year with a long history with them. I was still not trusted. The doctor that helped me was kind and thoughtful, but would not support pain management. I was open to going to the hospital for observation and this was refused as well. I will be seeking a different pcp and care team. Knowing if I am ever in need I will not be helped. read more

Made an appointment online. My daughter and I checked in the EzCheck was seen by NP Tai who was wonderful w/ my 10year old. Asked her questions and spoke to her about her symptoms and her general condition. NP Tia was thorough, professional, and sweet to my daughter. She explained everything and symptoms to note if she felt she wasn't feeling better. Gave a her sense of ease and relief. Antioch is a bit of a drive but was well worth for the service we received. We also got a follow up call to let us know her tests were good. I'd come back for sure! MAs front and back of the office were nice and accommodating as well. My sons pcp sent us to urgent care to get labs and xray done for my son but I was unaware the lab closed at 5 PM. We were done with the x-ray by 505pm and they would not see my son for lab work. They stated it was after five and they only saw urgent care patients. I wish they would've said this to me when I checked in at urgent care for his x-rays because I would've just gone straight to the lab first. Very insensitive staff. My son has been having some unusual symptoms that are concerning so getting all this things done was very important to us. It was pretty upsetting and disappointing that they didn't make an exception especially when we were there before 5pm. read more

Never go to Sutter on Lone tree. Went for a Covid test. 7 year old Daughter had symptoms.They swabbed for Covid, RSV & influenza, which was one swab. Never requested all the tests, especially a rapid test: One week earlier I did the same test at John Muir & received no bill. Sutter will not bill it correctly. They have not a care in the world about what was going on at that time in the real World. They just want their money & don't care how they get it: Hope no one signs up for their insurance coverage. I went to urgent care last week for an URI. I was brought in to an exam room within 5 minutes of checking in. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and professional. Cultures were taken. I saw a provider who examined me and explained things I could do to help me to feel better. I was on my way home within 20 minutes. By the time I got home my negative results were available online. Very bad experience, will never visit this location again!!!! I have been using sutter health from many years but never had such a bad experience. 1. I had a morning appointment at 8 am, I travelled with infant for 25 miles, waited in the patient room for 1 hr. 2. Checked with front office about doctor only then they realised that doctor didn't show up at all. 3. No doctor is available " how can this be possible, in such cases the least that they can do is accommodate with another doctor or they could have cancelled the appointment, or informed me at least at the arrival. 4. Made me wait for another 40 mins only to tell that they can reschedule for next day. My 4 yr old daughter was sick with fever and congestion. After 4 days with roller coaster fever temps I call the urgent care since there was no appointment times listed on the website. They said "as of now there is no wait and we are taking walk ins" this was at 8am. My husband drives with our daughter from Concord to sit in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before they tell him to bring her back at 3:45 pm. This was poor customer service. They need to tell patients at check in the wait times and or make the available appointment times available on the website not just a phone number to only be misinformed. I wish I didn't have to say I visited this urgent care twice in one month, but both times I was impressed with their courtesy and professionalism starting with the front office. The nurses and doctors were all very friendly , kind and thorough. I felt my problems were heard and responded to appropriately. The wait was minimal both times. You can't ask for more. read more

Went today and saw Dr. Mahsheed Shariati. We visited for our sick daughter, and I cannot begin to describe how incredibly rude and deliberately demeaning this doctor was. From the condescending tone to twisting parts of our conversation to shame me for things unrelated to my daughter's illness, it felt like she went out of her way to belittle me. I've rarely experienced such poor human interaction, let alone from a professional. I sincerely hope whoever reviews this feedback takes the time to assess whether this doctor is capable of maintaining a professional attitude and supporting patients without demoralizing them in nearly every sentence. I am very disappointed in the care I should've received. Dr. Shariati was very blunt and her bed side manner needs work. She came into the room asking "is your eye glued shut?" When I was there for 2 concerns, that of a stye and having possible pink eye. I was told because my eye wasn't "glued" shut I didn't have an infection. I was then told she couldn't help me as urgent care was the wrong place, I needed to see an eye doctor. The next day my optometrist fit me into her schedule just to diagnose me with PINK EYE! A simple urgent care visit that cost me $30 in a copay ended up costing me a total of $50 (and additional $20 was paid to the optometrist) I am so disappointed by the lack of care I received. read more

As was the medical assistant and the Dr. So grateful as she is visiting from out of town after the passing of my dad. Excellent Urgent Care service! We just happen to need a Urgent Care appointment after 6:30pm last night with the areas other Urgent Cares being booked. Luckily this was Sutter's opening night and we were one of their first patients. They are open evening hours 5:00pm to 8:30pm and limited hours on Sat. and Sun. From making the phone appointment with Anita who was very professional and understanding to the Urgent Care Dr. Charles Clemons it was great experience. I was very impressed by the Medical care from the Doctor. I never ever reveal I am a Nurse so I can play dumb and ask questions, he was very through in explaining signs, symptoms, cause, effect, medications, dose, side effects, and treatment in layman's terms with out being heady or condescending. Worth the drive from MTZ to receive excellent care from this new practice. And you know..... if it is Sutter, it has to be good! read more

After my doctor appointment in the same building I had to go get blood taken. Yes everyone, I am pregnant. Its confirmed. I even have photos of the thing in there to prove it. That means I have to get blood taken and tested for all kinds of fun diseases and blood disorders and STD's. Thankfully I didn't have to starve myself. I could just go in with the paper work my doctor gave me and the tech confirms it and I get the blood taken. The technician was so nice and told me all about when she had a baby and funny little stories about her pregnancy and family. And with the slightest little pinch my blood was-a-flow'n. I didn't realize that there would be so many vials of blood taken. I couldn't look at them while she was taking it. I'm not usually squeamish or nervous about blood but I also just don't want to think about. I only had a slight bruise the next day and I forgot to tell her I am allergic to the adhesive on certain types of medical tape. My skin swelled up in the shape of the bandage. That hurt more than the blood taking part. Its my fault for that though, not hers. Honestly the best blood taking lab experience ever. Everything came out fine and I am ready for this little person to get the show on the road. read more

My Husband was misdiagnosed here on 9/15/2019, he had X Rays taken and was told nothing was broken, minor bruising and should be back to normal in about 5 days. on Monday 9/16 he scheduled an appointment with his Primary Care Dr because of the amount of pain he was in. He saw his Primary Dr, who immediately put him on disability, as this was something a lot more serious than just "Minor Bruising". My husband is now needing to be seen by a hand specialist because he has not 1, but 2 fractures on his wrist. Oh yeah and there is a possibility of surgery due to nerve damage. It's nice that they're open on Christmas Eve, though I think that urgent care places usually are. What I'm upset about is that when I called the main Sutter Delta line to find out where I could go to get checked out after a car accident, they recommended the urgent care and didn't bother to tell me that urgent care has a blanket policy -- they will NOT admit you if you've been in a car accident! So I went there and waited only to be told to go away. (They didn't even bother to tell me where an ER near here is.) They claim they can't adequately diagnose accident victims "in case you have something wrong inside or something." Right. Just moments before I heard the same person telling the other new patient how the urgent care is staffed by ER doctors... Since I'm new to the area, I was planning to find a primary care doctor through Sutter, but they don't seem very caring. Maybe it's not a good choice. read more

I was treated here last december, saw a nurse practitioner (not even a doctor) who sent me home with some antibiotics for an itch on my back. I was charged $500 for the visit, and they coded the billing as a "Specialist ER visit." They must be really proud of themselves for operating a scam that deceives sick patients and falsifies their information. Dr. Laderer was kind, efficient, and professional. He finally is solving the injury my 80-year-old mother sustained 4 weeks ago. Mike, the X-ray tech, was really caring and patient with her. This is our third visit to urgent care for the same injury, and finally it is getting taken care of. Our X-ray tech the first visit was so RUDE, I'm saddened that I didn't catch his name. The doctor at the first visit splinted her finger without first straightening it. The second visit, she was supposed to have been referred to an orthopedic, but the referral never went through. She was helpful & knowledgeable in every sense! from (all) my (frantic) questions re: insurance/ vs cash , their location vs one closer to hospital vs Er itself.. The Nurses here are really nice but the doctor is just trying to get you in and out and will prescribe random medications not pertaining to your illness to make you believe they are doing something. The doctor did not give any sort of exam and prescribed me with something that had nothing to do with my illness. Go anywhere else please, I'm trying to save your health and your money. If you can avoid this place I would. I went in while I was pretty sick to try to get some relief, bad idea! They had me waiting for a long time while they tried to verify my insurance. I'm standing here while there trying over and over I guess, after about 15 or 20 mins they say they can't verify my insurance and of course it's a Sunday so I'm trying to call blue cross to find out what is going on and I wasn't able to get through. The lady gives me some bs about my birthdate not matching up. I explain that I have had the same insurance through the same employer for 8 years nothing has ever changed! She then proceeds to tell me to pay cash... I'm not paying cash when I pay hundreds a dollars a month for health insurance that I hardly use. I have recently transplanted to the East Bay from the Central Valley. One morning, I woke up with a terrible headache, which progressively worsened, over the next 24 hours. Finally, my spouse broke down and forced me to the Urgent Care to be seen. I was literally in and out of the office within 1 hour of my arrival. My intake was swift, payment was easy, the Medical Assistant was thorough and the doctor was extremely understanding and giving. I was provided with in the office care, prescriptions and a notice of when I could return to work, all the while, the staff was quiet and calm, knowing why I was in there in the first place. I will definitely go back, if needed, and may even consider making Sutter my primary care as well. Thanks! read more

This is NOT a true Urgent Care office. They use what they think is a loophole and bill you for a Specialist ER visit. According to the California State Insurance Commissioner's Office; this is NOT a loophole if ER or Specialist services were not rendered and thus is Insurance Fraud. I received bills for my daughter & myself. I was being charged as if I saw a Specialist Doctor. When called to dispute the bill I was told they bill based off the doctor's tax ID. I told them my co-pay was for an Urgent Care visit as it says on the building and at the counter and I checked in during Urgent Care hours. They still claimed they "are allowed to bill this way due to the billing codes are not specific and Blue Cross of California doesn't care how much they pay us.
