I was just under two weeks out from the pickup date, but unfortunately they were booked for custom cakes that weekend. They said they can still make any of their standard flavor options. So I took a look at their menu and WOW! They have some really unique options that you won't find anywhere else. Their signature cake is Herbs de Provence, four layers of honey, rosemary, thyme and lavender cake with apricot honey filling frosted with goat cheese icing. I got a Hummingbird, two layers of banana, pineapple, pecan spice cake frosted with cream cheese icing. They were able to order a custom otter edible image to put on it with a happy birthday message. This was right up the birthday girl's alley and hit a home run. The cake was the best gluten free cake any of our party have had, including two celiacs. It was one of best cakes I've had, regardless of gluten. It was moist and flavorful and just so delicious.

I also appreciated the friendly staff as I could not be that happy that early in the morning! When I'm in Boulder, this is a great option for good coffee in an unpretentious space.

I decided to order an iced latte with almond milk a 12oz and it was fantastic! You know it's good when you see the espresso machine pour the double shot and how rich it looks. I don't have to add any extra ingredients to it either like sugar which clearly shows the espresso was spot on. That's my indicator with coffee shops. The drinks are also affordably priced which makes it all the better. My only complaint with OZO Coffee is I wish I would've ordered a larger size so I could've enjoyed it for longer. The 12oz was delicious and so good that I wish I had more. I wish I had an OZO Coffee by me as it was that good. Highly recommend if you are in Boulder, CO to visit!
