Beautiful absolutely delicious cupcakes and petite fours for my son's grad dinner. Everything was delivered to the restaurant and was just perfect! Will definitely use Shamane's again,

Really good cakes and affordable, paid $7.5 for each and they are good size. Both Black Forest and mango tres leches were tasty and fresh.

We visited Shamane's Bake Shop twice during our 4 days in Boulder. Everything we bought was very good & some pastries were excellent. The hazelnut linzer torte was the stand out. Truly excellent, flakey crust, lovely combination of hazelnut & the right balance of sweetness. The cherry galette was also delicious. The additional of a crumble on top is genius. We ordered sandwiches too on Day 1 - they Shaved Turkey Rueben & they were generous with their fillings. Not your traditional Rueben. Day 2 - I got the Chicken pot pie - delicious pastry crust & comforting filling. For me a bit more salt in the filing would have been a welcome addition but lots of colorful veggies & creamy filling. My husband had the pear & chocolate galette & said it was very good. The almond croissant was good too - so many flaky layers - but I agree with other reviews that say it could use more filling. My daughter got the monkey bread which she loved! She took a bite before we could snap a pic! And my son got the chocolate croissant which was a winner. On both days we got brownies too which were a big hit with the kids. Overall you can't really go wrong here - I wish we lived closer so we could try all the tempting treats!

Best bake shop in Boulder by far. Been here several times, but never got pictures and would always eat first because it's so good. They have a small area to eat but I always do takeout. Tried the quiche for the first time and it was amazing! Had both the ham one and the vegetarian. Both were great and for the price they actually give you a lot. The breakfast hand pie was also good, but not my favorite because there are so many good things here. What makes this place so great for all their pastries is the crust. The chicken pot pie is my favorite thing here. Definitely a must have and great for a takeout dinner it's very filling. We also got the torte della Nona. So delicious and not too sweet. We've also Pre ordered cakes for birthdays and the almond with raspberry one is great. So is the carrot cake. Whatever the amount of people they say is good for the size of the cake, I would add a few people to that number because the cakes are super tall and they make the buttercream thick. My uncle said they make the best carrot and that's his favorite and he's had a lot of carrot cake. Highly recommend everything here!

I stumbled upon this place while out walking, and it was a fabulous find! The staff were very friendly, and down to earth helpful, the food was fantastic, the prices reasonable, and when my order took longer than expected, they offered me a free cookie. The inside space is very cute although be aware that seating is limited. I am not local, but I will definitely be returning next time I am in town!

+ Apple galette + Cheesecake + Tres leches + Almond croissant + Pecan tarts + Chicken pot pie + Chorizo burrito Absolutely delish! I'm so glad I made the drive here. It's located in a business park in Boulder, Co. A bit away from downtown but so soo worth it! As you can tell I ordered a bit of everything to-go. I took a spoonful of the tres leches and went on to sample the cheesecake and I just couldn't stop! My husband and I joked that this should've been our wedding cake. I love love love this place. It's just so far from me but trust I'm def coming back. Everything was amazing. You can't go wrong with anything your order here. To be fair, I haven't had quite everything on the menu, but I can't imagine with the attention to detail and level of craft placed into what I've had so far why would anything else be short of amazing?

My colleague knew just what to do and we ended up at Creature Comforts. The Yuzu Espresso Tonic was absolutely exactly what I needed, so well made and so flavorful. The vibes in here are great as well. Relaxed but social, and positioned in a great area of Boulder (let's be real most areas of Boulder are great). I also got a late breakfast with a greek yogurt that was tasty and generous portion as well. Highly recommend, and I'd even go out of my way to seek this one out next time I'm in Boulder for work. My colleagues and I came here post-hike, looking for a coffee and some fuel and that's exactly what we got. I went with the Ube latte, m one of the specials, and it was so good! It had the perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and nuttiness thanks to the Ube flavor. My friend got the honey latte, which I tried and was also very delicious. The menu has lots of creative options. Another colleague I was with got the espresso tonic with Yuzu, which was another winner. We also tried some of the protein balls which were surprisingly delicious! The menu prices are slightly high, but because they are in no tipping café it evens out pretty nicely. If I'm ever back in Boulder, I will absolutely come back here!

A standout detail is that all their flavorings and syrups are made in-house, which really elevates the drinks. You can even buy small bottles of their syrups in-store. Service Service is quick and friendly. The baristas are especially helpful in explaining pastries and flavor profiles, which makes it easier to try something new. We had heard of this cafe as they had been food hosts at a party at a Kühl on Pearl and were hoping to actually eat in their cafe when they coincidentally moved next door to one of our favorite local eateries. We were in the neighborhood around lunchtime so we stopped in when we arrived it was busy, by the time we left, it was packed. It's a unique menu fit for most palates and healthy as can be. It attracts athletes if all ages, healthy eaters of all types. You won't find much meat but there is some. It also as an Asian flair with offerings of congee and fried chicken sides, fish, rice and veggies of all sorts including kimchi . Japanese egg salad sandwiches too. That's one I need to try next time. Today we both chose the mushroom congee with 7 minute egg and a hot drink. A spicy chai with oat milk for my husband and berry hibiscus tea for me. We both enjoyed our meals but just a bit too much garlic for me but just right for my husband and must others too. I loved the volumes of mushrooms and the sprinkles of spices on the whole egg. The egg was done perfectly. My husband brought home a side order of popcorn chicken as I will be at a meeting so he will be eating dinner alone. The service was great, everyone friendly and helpful the cafe bright and clean and the ordering counter moves fast. They deliver to and clear the tables. More quick casual places should do this to avoid the piles of debris at bins in the seating area I often see. There is a flat panel screen on the wall featuring cyclists in the wild given that energy snacks were the first products of this company and much for sale here too. The mix of diners covered the spectrum of adults you would expect in Boulder. This cafe is only breakfast and lunch so come when convenient earlier in the day. Parking is free and always available in this center. Lots of construction around the intersection so plan your trip to get into the lot via Alpine and not Broadway.
