Therefore, I tend to use the online contact forms on a company's website. If they respond in a timely manner, that shows me that they want my business. When using the contact form on the website for DIGN Homes about my need for roof repair after a storm, I never heard a peep from the company. No phone call, text or email. However, (and this may just be a coincidence), the next morning at 9:20am someone is ringing my doorbell as I am sleeping. I have signs at both my doors stating I am a night shift worker. Do not disturb. I live in a gated community so no strangers should be able to get in and ring the bell. I get up thinking a neighbor needs help. Instead I see a carpet cleaning van in front of my home. Did DIGN Homes send a carpet cleaner unannounced in response to a roofing job??? Either way there was no communication from this company after I submitted my inquiry online. Don't set up an online form if you're not going to use it.

Did not hear back from him ,this morning Monday March 16th, 6.30am, I left a message to pick up the debris from my house by 12pm, Mathew responded I never said I would haul off the left over material,said he cleaned up to the best of his ability, plus if he did haul away the material and debris , there would be a $75.00 charge. I am 83yeas old, all I wanted was a professional job , at a reasonable price . And to be treated with honesty and respect ! I don't think that is asking for too much . It was decided to replace the solar heater with a new electric water heater. Mauricio removed the old unused water softener unit, ran new drain pipe and installed the new water heater. After they started the job and it became clear that the slab was 6" thick instead of the 3-4" they quoted, they let me know and did their best to fit as much as they could in the initial load. Called Gabe about my leaking water heater. Was able to speak with him quickly about a replacement…read moregas 40 gal. tank. He had me go to Lowes (online) and order the replacement unit, so I wasn't paying a markup from the installer. He picked up the unit from Lowes and just charged for the install. The advantage in this is you can chose the unit you want by quality and price. Units with longer warranties will cost more, probable between 6 to 12 years, so you get to decide what best for you without a installer charging a big markup. I was able to was my military discount for 10 % off. Another advantage is you are the one purchasing the unit. If there is a problem with the unit in the future you can go back to the manufacturer or Lowes (who I have found to be very good at backing up their sales). If your installer provides the unit he may not be in business in 9 to 10 years. Install was completed quickly. I had three other quotes before calling Gabe. Working with One Shot was 20% less then the next lowest bid and half the price of the highest bid. Will use them again for any plumbing issues.
