During a new roof installation an issue with the solar water heater was encountered. The roofing company contacted Before and After and within 1 hour Service Technician, Mauricio Holguin-Angeles arrived to assess the situation. It was decided to replace the solar heater with a new electric water heater. Mauricio removed the old unused water softener unit, ran new drain pipe and installed the new water heater. He communicated with us so there were no surprises and assured water service was returned to the house and running well. All this was completed in just a few hours. The plumber, Chris, replaced a water softener I purchased and had at the job site along with all the necessary parts. He replaced it over a period of 4 hours with two trips for parts and one probably included lunch. I was standing in the tenant's garage the entire 4 hours. Then today the water softener leaked because he didn't install the drain tube correctly. It was $375 dollars for parts and labor...this company charged my neighbor $150 for the same water softener replacement. I hope there is no damage to my tenant's belongings in the garage. read more

We experienced a slab leak in our cold water line, just below the foundation at the water manifold. The Before & After team responded right away and fixed the problem without too much disruption. I had leak under my sink. Found this company online, looked like a great company I would want to work on my issue. I was wrong. They came out to our house and charged me 272.22 dollars for a replacement part but did not give me a break down on what I was paying for. I called the office and was told they would get back to me. After 12 or so hours I heard nothing. I called back a got a gentleman who I told him why I was calling, and he said we do not give break downs on what we charge. Well, if they were a reliable company and want repeat business, they would give their customers a break down on what they are paying for. The only reason a company would not give a break down on what they are charging is due to overcharging and ripping a customer off. My suggestion would be to 1. get the price break down before using their service. 2. go somewhere else. There are too many other companies is the area to use, that do give a break down on what they are charging. Never again would I call this company, or suggestion then to friends or neighbors. "I had a rental house in surprise, my tenant said there is some sort of sewer like smell in the dish washer area, first time when I called and talked to Terry, he knows what he was talking about, then he asked me to call the appliance guy Brian, I called twice and left voice mail, and even sent a message, never got reply; then I called back again, and Ryan picked up the phone, and I asked him what his thought is for the issue, he taught me something that Terry did not mention, which was good, then I complaint that Brain never called me back, then he said he got Brian's personal cell, which I don't have. He got a hold of Brian and Brian told him he would return my call but he never did; I told Ryan I was not happy about Brian and asked for another guy, he gave me Sam Robert's phone and I had called, and same thing, never got reply, so instead of calling them back the third time, I gave up and wrote a review here. In conclusion, Terry and Ryan are nice and seem to know about the issue and how to fix it, but for some reason, all the appliance guys that they asked me to contact never called me back or return my texts, which really disappointed me, so this company is only for 'plumbing' and 'drain', and does not deal with any issue related to an appliance, such as a dish washer hose. Ryan did explain to me that they have no relationship with those appliance guys, because the appliance guys have their own companies, and they do not work for 'Before & After Plumbing and Drain', but as a first time customer seeking for help, this experience is just not pleasant at all. On a Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm. Got a call about water mysteriously coming from a wall at our office. That's right--SAT AFTERNOON!! No problem for these guys. We called and they promptly responded and met someone at the office. They had to cut through drywall snd found a pinhole size leak. What a great job. Apparently they use whatever they can find. I was not home when they did the repairs and left my husband in charge. I came home to find that my special make up remover towel was used to wipe off the metal and some sticky scums, and totally ruined. They left it by the bathtub. Their service is too expensive. They did no5 give us the exact hourly rate. They charge for the "job". Update: The first technician was absolute nightmare and had to leave the bad review, but the owner, Ryan, came out the next day and he did everything he could to fix the problem. I had a plumbing issue where another company had come out the week before and they snaked they insisted it was tree roots in the line likely and the problem would cost me thousands. Either way they left after getting the clog out and the draining stopped backing up into my home. The previous company was sent out from the home warranty company. I found Before and After on a Community Facebook group and took a chance and gave them a call when the problem started again a week later. He came out and snaked it and put the camera down there and found no tree limbs at all and that the previous company didn't snake it properly they only poked a whole in the blockage they never cleared it. I was so happy to have called them and have them come out. I called late in the evening and he came out first thing in the morning like promised. Great service, friendly and honest!
