I never thought I'd be writing something like this. As a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD after 32 years of military service, I've been to Rose Gaming Resort many times. I've spent several nights there, brought friends, tipped generously, and always felt like a valued guest--until one night shattered all of that. After winning a small jackpot, I inserted a $100 bill that was rejected by a machine. I offered to take it to the cashier myself, but the attendant insisted on handling it. I didn't argue--I trusted the process. But what happened next was something I'll never forget. I was surrounded by security, questioned publicly, and handcuffed in front of everyone like a criminal. I wasn't drunk, I wasn't angry--I was calm, respectful, and compliant. I tried to show them my medication list on my phone and explained that I have PTSD. They didn't listen. The arrest triggered a severe panic attack. I was denied my medication and ended up in the VA emergency room--admitted as a mental health inpatient, on IV medication, just to calm down. The magistrate dismissed the charges immediately. Even so, I was banned from Rose. I've reached out to management and corporate multiple times to ask for video footage and a conversation. I've been met with silence. I'm sharing this because no one--especially a disabled veteran--should be treated like this. I don't want revenge. I want awareness, accountability, and for this never to happen to someone else. read more

Upon entering. You're greeted. But it's a TSA like equivalent greeting. Not welcoming or anything. But rather take everything out of your pockets and walk through the metal detector. The "gaming arcade" NON-CASINO is located in the middle of a retail shopping center. Parking is shared with other stores in the shopping center. There is a Rosie's security vehicle going around the parking lot to deter crime which is a plus. The promotions here are very poor. No comps nor Tier matching. But technically they aren't a "full casino" according to employees so it's kinda expected. They do have a free slot play promotion which you can win anywhere from 20 to 1k in free slot play for new players. But mostly everyone I seen and even myself only got 20 in free slot play **SEE PICS** The jackpot board is somewhat depressing since witnessing a ton of players here playing usually over five bucks a spin on the machines and the jackpot board **SEE PICS** is displaying major winners of jackpots totaling 1k to 4k. They have penny machines up to somewhat high limit machines. All the machines are what's called server based machines which means they're all modern and not the mechanical reels which is somewhat questionable because with the mechanical machines you usually have to be "physically present" to adjust "win ratios" but with server based it can somewhat be done remotely. So the house has the advantage here technically somewhat. They have a OTB for horse racing and everything. It has a couple of live streams and a dedicated area for the OTB seating as well. They have drink girls to provide drinks while playing at the machines. Since the overall environment is not that big. The drink girls are very attentive in keeping everyone hydrated which is a plus. They have a food place in the arcade for food as well as drinks too. The ventilation however inside of the arcade could be better. Heavy smell of second hand smoke. Unsure if they're properly utilizing "GOOD" air filtration systems here. Also there is hand sanitizer stations throughout the arcade but sadly most of them were empty upon trying most of them. The employees were friendly and social which is a plus. Also there are NO TABLE GAMES at this "gaming arcade". Overall. This is my first and probably last time at this "gaming arcade" location until they open the full casino later this year. The main factor to that is. After leaving. You could actually overhear some people sounding sad in the parking lot due to the low win ratios. Even getting food at the McDonald's in the same parking lot as the arcade. You could overhear people saying "Why did we come here" & "I almost won" while eating. Truly depressing for a gaming environment. read more

Oh my goodness - the food is SO GOOD! The cheeseburger was absolutely amazing! The quality of ingredients was so fresh; the buns were so buttery, the meat was so juicy and perfectly cooked and seasoned, the pickles were sweet and salty, and even the lettuce was fresh and crunchy. The cheeseburger was so good that my husband kept saying, "this is a damn good burger" multiple times while eating. And the fries.. I wish you could hear how crunchy they were! It sounded like I was eating chips every time I bit into a fry. And the seasoning on the fries are so good.. salty with a little sweetness to it. I didn't go in to gamble, so I can't say anything about that. But I'll definitely be back for the food. BTW, on Tuesday's the burger is $5 for military and on Wednesday's the burger is $5 for ages 50&up. read more

First, you have to take a long road to the entrance of the casino. The location is horrible, however sufficent parking, at first the place seem empty. Once inside it's not obvious what to do to start playing. Very little directions, in setting up an account to use the card, especially, t you are not familar with that method. A little upset of the restaurants, not too appealing, again sense of emptiness and unfriendly atomsphere. We ate at the new a restaurant call 1609, very Nice, again not too pleasant, understand everyone is new or just started, it is obvious. After a long wait to get serve, we started eating, i found a hair in the food. It was reported to the waiter and the management, the regional manager was told as well as we observed. She didnt come over to apologized. They did take care of the bill, however Overall service was ok and food was decent but the price is too high, understand of where it is though.. Saturday I stop by for the first time. The band junk food supposed to be playing at 9 o'clock however, the caps hockey team was playing at the casino. Decided to push the band starting time due to the game. I recognize that the casino's priority is to make money but some of us will like to come enjoy the entertainment. Why schedule a band if you're not gonna let them play? This is not the first time they do this. They have also done it to another band called the screaming monkeys. I had never been to Rosie's and did not want a formal dinner. I went to the food court and was totally disappointed by the entire experience. Firstly, the whole operation is convoluted and very chaotic. There are no signs stating that you must order from one restaurant. Patrons are expected to walk to the limited food establishments, then order at the one restaurant. Supposedly, the customer pays, then is seated and someone will bring it to your table. After making my purchase, seafood gumbo, I was not given a number. I waited about :10 and asked the staff at the seafood restaurant if my order was ready? The employee told me yes. Then, the waiter finally bought the gumbo to my table. I took a couple of bites and found the gumbo extremely salty. I told the employee and asked her to provide me with a good dish. This seafood concoction was better, but not tasty. I threw most of the dish away. There was a bar close to the food court. The service was much better when I ordered my drink. I am not a gambler so I was trying to explore this new establishment. I will be very hesitate to go back to Rosie's. read more

Mr. Kirkland (Security) and Matthew (Upstairs Cafe) are very helpful and pleasant. Kirkland helped us with the machine and the routine. It was our first time going. Matthew took our order for a delicious burger and golden brown french fries and a drink. Order food the person took my order handle money prepared the food and did not change his gloves . I spoke with the cook asked if he could change his gloves. He said I did. I said I was standing here watching you I did not see you change your gloves. He threw the hotdog line in the trash and made another hotdog. At this point I no longer wanted the food. I took it as a loss and trashed the Hot dog and fries. read more

This isn't technically a casino but you will see games with jackpots. There is horse betting as well. You can't sit at the bar during covid. The restaurant has an inexpensive menu that includes burgers, fries, fish and flatbreads. Customers have to wear a mask, unless eating in the restaurant. This place was new in January 2020. Lots of fun slots at Rosies that hit much more often than at other casinos. On my recent visit, got called to spin the wheel and won $377. Every visit I have free play funds in my account and often other giveaways provided. Given how small the place is I don't think people should be allowed to save machines for people while others are standing in line waiting . Will never return to this tiny shack again read more

A cozy gaming emporium. They have themes you see in casinos and themes you don't. They have games like FireLink, Wheel of Fortune, and Raking Bacon. The progressive jackpots are high. There are no table games but 150 games to play. They have a bar with signature drinks and a restaurant with signature burgers. A nice place to have a date night, group outing, or a solo getaway for a while. read more
