This store looked new from the outside but was kind of a mess inside. We always check out the shoes to start and they were a complete disaster. More shoes on the floor than on the racks. We did end up finding a Nike golf glove for $6 and a 4-pack of bras for $10. Pretty good deals Girl at the register was friendly. Hire more workers!! This Ross does have a good selection of clothes, shoes and other miscellaneous items. Whenever I'm looking to find good stuff for a good deal, I always walk away with items every visit. Of course, I am not expecting Ross to be always organized with top tier service. But as of May 2026, the bare minimum quality of service has drastically declined. Upon walking in, shoes were all over the floor, forming mountains of disorganized dump. Size stickers (like a size 9) on the wrong shoes (size 11). As I browsed through different aisles, clothes were misplaced everywhere, on floors, dangling on hangers and different sections. These are the results of a very understaffed team. But the worst part has yet to come- while I was able to find 2 items worthy of checkout, my future visits will depend entirely on how long the line gets per cashiers. I waited nearly 30 minutes in line after one of the two cashiers had to step out. Then the one cashier was having some issues with the register, so for a few minutes nothing was moving. I know their current team is doing their best, but Ross' upper management needs to realize it's unacceptable that people waited this long to the point the line reached the beauty section! I am having a hard time rating this location. First, Ross is Ross, and I go to Ross often because I usually don't wear things twice for events or when I'm gonna take pictures. Plus who doesn't like a DEAL!!! I happen to come to the Ross Arlington and was shocked when the security/greeter told me that I couldn't take my coffee in. You mean I just spent $6 on Starbucks and I can't take it in. I've never heard of any Ross restricting its consumers to bring in drinks. This management must be making their own rules. So, I oblige and allow him to hold my drink in the front! I'm thinking "liability". But, I go ahead and look around thinking this is going to be a real upscale "clean" location. Absolutely not! Same Ross different city, messy, stuff all over the place and not a big selection. The only thing I learned is that the security guard was the most energetic person and only one to acknowledge customers. I'll never come back. I'll drive to a different location where I can enjoy my Starbucks while shopping. read more

We were casually strolling the strip of shops going in and out of stores with no problem before stopping at this Ross. Upon entering, we were immediately demanded to leave my closed water bottle at the front. I had not even come in for anything and to be greeted with disrespect from a manager UPON ENTRY is disgusting. Shame on this Ross! Get better employee service. Your job is not possibly that miserable to be miserable to customers who fund your paychecks. Be weary anyone with a suspicious water bottle, you are a threat to this store! read more

This store is practicing deceptive trade practices. Texas consumer law says: If a debit card is used, the consumer may receive cash back. Of course the stores refund policies must be met. I provided a receipt within the stores 15 day window and unused merchandise. The original debit card that was used had been lost and I hadn't received the replacement. A Ross store manager told me she couldn't refund cash because I didn't have the card. This is against Texas consumer laws. She said it's a Ross store policy. People know your rights. I'm pursuing a legal case based on principal. No one should be discriminated against, especially when you're patronizing a business. read more

There was this beautiful box that I wanted because it was out so I thought I could buy it because I was trying to put everything in there for a present and once I collected everything I needed I went up to the cashier and she had asked for the manager because the box didn't have a tag. So Im waiting, and the manager was finally up there but instead of letting me know the info on the box she just took care of others knowing I was waiting on her answer if I could purchase it or not. So after she took care of more people I had to address myself right infront of her and asked about the box and with a rudely tone and eye roll from her I had received my answer. read more

I personally love Ross and I come here all the time! Super great deals and I absolutely love the picture frames/ kitchen ware they receive but today I woke up early, my day off, got a large cold Starbucks drink because my car AC is currently out and it's 100 degrees outside and I was ready to start my day at Ross and I walk in big smiles literally dripping sweat and the security guard says "uhm no drinks allowed" so I go to walk out the door and the exit door is literally still locked so I had to awkwardly go around as he goes to try and unlock that door. I wish there was a more "Known" policy for this because I simply just left and missed a good day @ross. I'll still shop here of course, I just feel like this should be put out there more. read more

The most unorganized Ross in Arlington , many of the items not marked or set up on the correct hangers (size) barely have good quality goods probably due to Xmas time , we are a bit over 20 people and just 2 cashier's and one of the 2 it also a return which makes everything more complicated. This is now my new favorite Ross. This particular chain of stores tend to deteriorate quickly and they never care about fixing things like cracked floors or repainting the walls. So when this new shiny store opened I decided to drive an extra 15 minutes to appease my shopping appetite. The girls at this location are much more helpful than the one that will remain nameless (South Cooper and I-20) and the store some how stays fairly organized and clutter free. Melicia the cashier working on 12/8/17 had a worst customer service skill. Management should look out for her. I got a shirt and told her can you please take the tag out since its a gift she replied "you can do it yourself " it was a shocking reply and I repeated because I could not believe she said that so I said its a gift so can you please take the tag out? she said "oh ya you can take it yourself at home" I just left but I would not expect service like that anywhere. read more

Terrible Ross location. For the past year or so every time I've gone in the registers have been understaffed. Even at Christmas they had only one register open and one customer service register. The lines wrapped around the entire store. I went in there today at 9 on a Saturday morning to find only one person working the register while several loss prevention agents were wandering around doing nothing except talking to each other. The one lady on the register worked as slowly as humanly possible while still being considered somewhat animate. Not once did she attempt to call for additional cashiers. Nor did she acknowledge that the checkout line was getting longer while the earth went through another ice age in the time it took her to remove one security tag. I ended up setting my intended purchases down, going to Steinmart, and buying everything I needed there instead. read more

I'm arguably more a fan of TJ Maxx than Ross. They tend to have a better inventory and are more organized. This one however was better than most. I was able to find a couple cute pairs of shoes for my niece. I was even able to find a couple things myself. In general their plus size section was pretty sad. Mostly full of rejects or things I wouldn't even dress my grandma in willingly. I was hoping to find a nice selection of skirts and dresses, but skirts in my size were pretty nonexistent. I did find one though. Dresses were just no.... The guys and little girls section was pretty sad too. However, if you are under a size 12 as a woman then you will probably find some cute buys. Also had a decent home goods section. Found a good buy on those fuzzy thin hangers. Other bummer was they only one lane open to checkout. read more

This Ross is just okay. Racks are almost empty but that's better then being so full you can't browse. Security is tight at this store which leads me to believe they've had some issues here. I found a bunch of great stuff and then stood in line at 9pm for 15 minutes!!! I wasn't giving up my awesome finds for that but other people left. They need more people on the registers especially when people come up with full carts. read more

Always a variety of assorted clothes and household items here. There is always something worth buying if you look hard enough. The low prices are very worth it here. However, the lines are always long at check out and the employees are very rude, especially when returning something. read more

This place is such a dump! It was a decent place to shop when it first opened but it has gradually gotten horrible, especially in the last year or so. 'Customers' are allowed to trash the place and no seems to care or bother to straighten up. I really used to like shopping here and finding great deals but now I just occasionally go in and get out as quickly as possible. This store used to be one of my favorites not anymore. Recently, I made a visit to the store to make a return and a purchase. First, I made the return first and I was issued a credit for 2.15 since it was 30 days since the purchase, no problem. In turn, I decided to keep a household item and use the credit. In essence, giving the money back and then some. The rudest manager/salesperson by name Tawanna told me that I was unable to do this for 24 hours! What? She stated this was a store policy. I knew this was not the truth and this was her sick and silly way to inconvenience me. Of course, I left the counter, picked up the same item and made the repurchase. The following day, I returned the store because I am forgiving and on this occasion I witnessed the same ignorant person mistreat a shopper I had befriended during shopping. The woman noticing the long lines wanted to leave her items and bail, I encouraged her to wait 30 minutes later she approached the wicked Tawanna who chastised her for standing in the wrong line, the customer apologized and she said she didn't care! Then, she combed over her receipts once again insulting the customer ... Finally, she completed the transaction, but not after stopping again to talk to an employee about cleaning up her station, offering no apology to the waiting customer. As I was completing my purchase, by the way my clerk was sweet and worth my 35 minute wait, the customer approached me and said I will never shop here again. Me either! the customer service by one manager caused the loss of two customers. How many more? Worst service ever! read more
