I stopped by this Ross recently in search of a planter. I was in a shopping center with a Home Goods and Marshall's, so I thought what the heck, I may as well check Ross' inventory. Ross didn't have a selection of planters that I could find, though they did have a bunch of household decor and other items I really wanted to buy. I shop here every week. Great staff and SOOO patient with rude customers. Just because the Ross staff does not indulge ridiculous requests for discounts and refunds, that does not mean they are providing poor service. People griping about an unorganized store are the same ones tearing it up with no regard for making a mess or opening packages. Respect is a two way street folks. You have a choice. Go pay full price at organized Macys, or get over it. read more

SHODDY MERCHANDISE, STINGY RETURN POLICY, BEWARE! Ross may give good value for clothing and shoes but they are selling defective luggage and do not honor the commonly expected 30 day return policy without a register receipt but not a copy of the credit card charges from the date of sale, which they certainly have a record of. The luggage was purchased on 12/1/19 but not used until a trip last week, which is when the rod handle broke off. It's clearly made of cheap pop metal and not of the quality one would normally associate with the Samsonite brand. I was willing accept store credit or a swap with another brand (and would have paid the difference) but was told by the manager this morning that my credit card receipt not sufficient. Obviously the company has little use for maintaining a reputation that trusts them. This is one a big reason why most people take their business to Amazon! I am writing Ross corporate headquarters as well as Samsonite customer service and hope for fair resolution of the matter but if this fails I will never shop Ross again and urge others to avoid them as well unless you don't mind being ripped off. read more

For starters the shoe section is usually a mess but if you are ready to dig and accept mismatched sizes....which I am... You can find some real gems here. Don't judge me. I DO wear an 8 1/2 but my left foot is slightly smaller & for the right shoe an 8 fits like a charm. In fact I just picked up some Guess heels that will be a staple in my wardrobe that are 2 different sizes. I love Ross. WHEN IM IN THE MOOD FOR IT. You can find anything from an inventory so low you'd think that they were going out of business to a store messily packed to the gills with a bunch of great finds. It's best reserved for times when you aren't in a huge hurry and have plenty of time to thoroughly dig. The lines... Always loooong. Get a book or people watch. There are always a bunch of characters in the store. Also, If you get a store credit try to use it right away. I got one recently and it came on the form of a flimsy piece of paper instead of a plastic card which I promptly lost. read more

Not my favorite of the Ross stores, but one that I visit frequently. Two things turn me off about this location, it has a smell. Im not sure what it is, maybe the building is old, or the dye from all the "marked down" clothing has started releasing vapors. Also, they staff very sparingly, so some days you can wait several minutes to be checked out because one person is ringing people up, doing returns, requesting prices checks and answering the phone. Most times when I walk in, Security is there to meet and greet, but he spends more time chatting up customers and the cashiers than he does with patrolling the store. Some times you can find really great deals here. Recently, I needed cutting boards. Its one of those things that Im more in tuned to not pay $40+ dollars for becuase after all, Im only going to chop veggies and get scuff marks all over it. Walks in, and finds the cutest pink KitchenAid cutting board for $7.99, it had been marked down from $14.00 because (i assume) the plastic covering had been ripped off. Ripped plastics = markdowns. Count me in. This store is not "fully stocked", but of the items they have, most times its a good selection of items. read more

Shawn, here again, reporting from the man's perspective on Ross Dress for Less. I...have...never...bought...a...single...item...from Ross though I've come here about a dozen times. Each time, stopping in from Marshall's next door, I think "Maybe this time it will be different...." Wrong! Out of curiosity, Miss D. and I stopped in on the one in West Sunset in Hollywood. Waste o' time. A cramped parking lot, and an unglamorous location. We were out in five minutes. The Ross at Key West? Slightly better; Miss D. got a sweater out of it. Again, nothing there for me. My success rate at Ross is so low because a high percentage of what they carry is odd sized (i.e, small, medium, and XXL), cheap and lacking brand appeal, and probably already picked over by T.J. Maxx and Marshall's (and Burlington Coat Factory) before Ross' buyers got a crack at it. At best, I would see a shirt I liked, look closely and discover that it was a small. I'm six feet tall and I wear a large. Go look at the larges, which is the mainstream "vanilla" men's size. Fuhgedabouddit. Nothing. Bupkes. Picked over. I'm not saying it's impossible to go into Ross and get lucky. It isn't at all. But it's not worth the special trip if you don't live very close. I'm sorry that this review can't be better because I enjoy giving business to this type of store. read more

I've never been more upset in my life. This place gets my money every Friday, and today I've been treated like shit. Today I came into the store happy to shop, I made a mistake and laid my phone down. I asked the security guard to use his phone and he did. My phone stopped ringing, instantly I knew my phone was taken from within the store. Moving forward, the manger asked the security guard to look and the cameras. The security asked me for a house number to contact me on. I said why would that make since when we can find out who has my phone now. He didn't explain anything too me. Here I am about to spend a lot of money in this store, with a buggy full of items to prove it. Moving forward, a kid picked up my phone and his parents made him return it. Now I'm thinking about should I purchase these items?? Well when I get to the register I ask the manager why couldn't he help me.... He then explains protocol..... Move over TJ Maxx and Marshall's, ROSS IS WHERE IT IS AT!!!!!!! I AM OBSESSED WITH ROSS! It rocks, honestly. Seriously low prices. Last I went there I scored a wifebeater navy tank by David & Goliath... There is a Rock and Ruler on it... The Rock is telling the Ruler "You Rule," while the Ruler is telling the Rock, "You Rock." How clever. How cheap for $2.99. Cute! I also get my workout clothes here... I just picked up a pair of yoga (or biker shorts, whatever you want to call them) by Nike for $6.99, and a white pair of soccer shorts by Nike for $7.99. I get ALL of my sunglasses here... They have name brand Armani's, Ralph Lauren, etc. although I just stick with the Rampage or recently Roxy pairs. My pair of Roxy's were $5.99 and that is pretty much the standard price for most of their glasses. Want more? Oh, I can give you more (and so can Ross, so you can Dress for Less... gosh I am so damn cheezy sometimes!). They have cute-ass dresses here for freaking $10-$25. I recently got a Donna Karen dress for $24.99 that was priced at like $195. I modeled in it actually. I just scored a pair of Steve Madden's cheetah and cork platforms there. They were so freaking cute I had to get them even though they are a size too big. They were $15.99. Prior to that, I got a pair of black cork platforms for $7.99... $7.99 I tell you! So, in case I have not sold you to go here because you have read other reviews and you are, hmmm lets say, nervous about having to "dig through clothes," well let me just adamently inform you of something: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DIG! I DON'T DIG! There is so much cute shit there that stuff just pops out at you. I am not even kidding! Hell, I will go there for a pair of glasses and leave there with the glasses, a dress, a pair of flats, and an Ipod player (like a boom box, but to plug in your Ipod... ya know what I am talking about!!!). And all that would put me under about $35-$40. And, you can even score cute bathing suits there! I got a White and Polka Dot Roxy bikini there for like $3.99... No freaking lie! Lastly, ALL OF THE ROSS'S ARE AMAZING and you can find the same items in each... So, if this has not sold you, well, I don't know what will. This is one of the worst Ross stores I have ever been in! As soon as you enter, you will see that the store is pretty empty. There are probably about 5 long racks in the women's section alone and they had skimpy, thin, see through tops. The whole store smelled like stale smoke, which I don't understand because there is no smoking inside the store! There were employees standing around and just talking with each other. There was not one person who said hi or even offered to help. I will never go there again. read more

MESSY, MESSY, MESSY! I stopped by this store looking for a planter for my garden. I was lucky enough to find one at the right price. I noticed that this location has a nice stock of patio and garden items. It also has a staffed jewelry department which is not common in all stores. This store was well stocked with clothing but as I closely examined the racks, much of what was offered was just kind of cheap looking and boring. I thought that was strange for this particular area. Ross is a bit hit and miss, so maybe it just happens to be an "off' week. This location needs to do a better job of keeping things clean and organized. This location does not have a lot to choose from. Their Home Goods department is practically empty. I went to see what they had which was a big mistake and to exchange a couple pairs of sandals I bought my daughter. They only had a few larger sizes to choose from for kids in sizes 1-2. At the exchange counter employee #843921 was rushing and was looking at the shoes as though they had been worn. So I pointed out on the new pair that I found that the soles of those specific shoes are brown and have that look. She then exclaimed that she'll take care of it this time as to insinuate my daughter wore them, which she had not like I told her. She also stated that if they were worn they wouldn't do the exchange but that she will as if she was doing me a favor on unworn shoes. She also aggressively tried to remove a censor from a top I WAS going to purchase and ended up putting a hole in the shirt from pulling at the censor. So she damaged the company's inventory, smh. This low level of professional and lack of customer service is the exact reason I will never return to this location. My home location in Buford have better associates with customer service skills and will continue to get my business. Employee 84392, you seem miserable with your job and I suggest you get your resume updated and find a job that will make you happy. You seem too old to act in the manner in which you did. The staff is extremely difficult to deal with. I went in with a return and they told me to return it to the store it was originally purchased at because the original store had incorrectly tagged the item. What an inconvenience! I pointed out the fact that the original tags were still on the item but they still refused. I had to burn an additional $5 of gas to refund a $13 item. The store itself is not so bad, you can find some great deals on name brands but not all the time. read more

I went here after hitting the Marshall's next door and was immediately struck by how bare all the shelves and racks were. It almost looked like they were going out of business, but I don't think they were. It was organized and pretty clean but just bare. I didn't find anything and it only took a few minutes to spin around the whole store. Since it's here, I would probably return if I was shopping in any of the other stores here but I really wouldn't expect to find much. read more

Located in the Buckhead Crossing shopping center. Right next door to Marshalls. This is one issue that Ross has - they are usually next to or in close vicinity to another discount store. And those discount stores are nicer. Unfortunately, for Ross. They don't have as much stock and it is not designed as nicely. Just not an attractive store. Ross excels at being cheaper. I can find the same item at Ross cheaper than I get at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. Ross is also great a dresses. If I want a dress, Ross will be my first stop. Nice looks for a great price. It may not be the best quality, but I don't wear dresses all the time. They have good deal for shoes, as well, and you will find a number of cute shoes on clearance. read more

FITTING ROOM CLOSES AT 9PM BUT THE STORE IS OPEN UNTIL 1030 Usually shop here and never had a problem until now. Was shopping in the evening after work ~930 since the store states that it is open until 1030 after selecting a couple clothes and being ready to try them on I was told that the fitting room was closed. When I asked how the fitting room was closed with an hour left I was told THEY CLOSE THE ROOM AT 9PM with an hour and a half left!!!!! The staff was short and did not allow any conversation or compromise! PLAIN RUDE!!!!! read more

I went to this location for the first time on 1/12/16. I checked out a little before 3:00 pm. Working the register was a bald, thin man. Before his apparent break time, I was the only person standing in line. When he finished the transaction before me, he simply walked away without a single world or look...as he walked right passed me, by the way. Less than a minute later, a woman with big curly hair called for "who ever is next in line". Being that I was the only person standing where a line would clearly be formed (as evident by the section they've created solely for a line), I found it a bit idiotic and annoying for her to summons me in just a manner. When i walked up to her counter, she didn't utter a word. A younger, thin female employee who must have been reporting to work at 3:00 entered the front door. The employee who was ringing me up was apparently excited to see this young woman because she greeted her with a warm hello and started a conversation...oh, the young woman was behind the cashier. This means that at times the person ringing me up wasn't looking in my direction or paying me any attention. When she handed me my receipt (if that's what you would call it), she mumbled something that I think was supposed to be a thank you, but that was hard to understand because her head was turned towards her co-worker and not her customer. I think it must be noted that when the man walked away from his counter, very rudely by not addressing the customer who was clearly waiting on him...a another female employee was present. She appeared to be either a supervisor or manager. The person in charge allowed and has created a culture in which it is ok to ignore and inconvenience a customer in such a way that seems to be a normal practice. If it was his break, then a simple acknowledgement of me would have resolved that issue because most people are well aware of scheduled breaks or end of shift changes. Clearly Ross and/or the employees at this location don't value the customer. I was pissed by the time I left the store and the only reason I didn't walk away is because I was helping someone out by making this purchase for them. I have no intentions of shopping at this location again, it was my first and it will be my last. Very disappointed in all 3 of those people I encountered...they should want to be and do better for themselves if not for any other reason. read more

Just bought two chairs from here and I was so disappointed with the customer service. Jovani didn't want to look for the price ticket for the chairs I wanted, because she "had a line of customers waiting" even though I had waited like the others. Then she added in rude tone that "she needed the physical chairs at the cash rap to ring me up" when in a previous conversation with her , it was not mentioned. So I go get them and No one in store offers to help me carry them to register. We are then sent to check out with Shamika instead and her attitude was so horrible, it was disgusting. She huffed and puffed as I lifted the chair for her to be able to scan it. As I'm trying to ignore her grimacing, I mention that one of the chairs is badly marked and she says in a loud rude tone "you know that this place is already a discounted store". I didn't want to say anything but that's why people go there in the first place. And in my head I'm thinking is this really the first thing this lady has to say to a paying customer?! Did everyone in the store have to hear her say that? As if this wasn't enough, she impolitely tells me to sign the keypad after I swipe my card & dismissively hands me the receipt. read more
