Anthropologie - Spring is in the air! - Women's Clothing Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

By far the biggest location in Atlanta. It reminds me of the old Lenox store before they downsized to make way for Apple. I love that they have a design center and in theory that would be helpful before ordering any furniture. There are two rooms and apparently a staff member to speak with (though I have never actually seen anything here). I do like that they have all the upholstery options for you to see in person and feel if you want/need prior to ordering. The actual design room doen;t really ever seem to change though which strikes m as odd. Great slection and organized store. Good selection of petits and some bridal whihc is a plaus for me at the moment as I shopping for honeymoon. I do think they decor selection isn't as varried as other locations like Lenox, Alpharetta, or West Side (odd beciase there is so much oppertunity witht eh huge floorprint). Fitting rooms are big and clean with lots of seating and nooks for your personal items to not have to sit on the ground. I have never waited in line for a fitting room - though I have never been here on a weekend. Sale section could be better - again it is large but I never seem to find anything like I do in other locations. Staff is freindly but never seem to be around (possibly due to size of gthe store with the amount of walls as dividers). It doesn't bother me as I am the type to not ant to talk to anytime unless I have a question but I could see how it may be a negative for others. I typically just head tot h fitting room or till if I have questions and it is never an issues. Probably my third favorite location after West Side and Lenox. Horrible service and attitudes from the staff. Although big kudos to the one girl who was processing my return. She alone was very helpful in trying to help me. She even went as far as to find a replacement to an anniversary gift but the gentleman and young blonde lady were trash at their job. I was headed in to see if I could find some items in store that I saw online. I didn't, but no big deal. The store had a cold affect. Generally the staff wasn't friendly and was not attentive to guest. The only positive experience I shared was with the dressing room attendant. This store is mostly clothing and furniture is displayed to encourage online shopping. I was able to purchase a few pieces, 2 tops and a dress. I felt overall the sizes ran big. I found it different to locate size small. The cashier was cold and odd. I inquired about the rewards program and she let me know that I had to pay for it and told me all the perks and proceeded to let me if I was interested, I should purchase online. It made me feel uncomfortable. I would not return to this store especially since there are other location in Atlanta. read more

I love shopping here with my dog! I love everything Anthropologie carries and this particular store is my favorite. It's so well laid out and seems to have all the things online that I'd love to see irl. I come here both for myself and for family and friends gifts. The stylists are all helpful and the dressing rooms are nice. read more

This Anthropologie had so many different specialty rooms! Usually it's one big store. Not this one. There are so many hidden rooms with bedding, dinnerware, clothes, stationary, mugs, etc. Great place to pick up a special gift. My secret room is there back clearance room. Prices are still steep but better. Items are from different cultures, but are of great quality. Lots of Christmas items already. read more

For some people Anthropologie is the kind of store that makes you look like you spent years combing through all the flea markets while vacationing in European. While others think it makes you look like you haven't showered in 3 days, sleep half your time in a ditch and haven't done laundry in 6 months...(You know what I say? why not be both!) So here are some fun company facts...the company started out as a college project for a couple of guys- interestingly one of the founders went to Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and guess what he majored in? Anthropology! What I like about this clothing store is that every item looks like it has an unique story to tell. It's technically a chain store-their parent company is Urban Outfitter-but it feels part garage sale, part flea market and part rummaging through your Aunt Ida's cramped garage-after you find out your straight laced, Republican loving Aunt went to liberal bleeding Reed's College and smoked pot all 4 years she was there..... For example that embroidered blouse by the front....it looks like it was bought in Morocco the summer your family took a big vacation to Europe the year before your dad got sick.... Over there to the left there is a black sweater with a few loops missing...that looks like the same one that got left by that hot French guy you may have met the summer you and your friend Jenn decided to move to Paris for 6 months but ran out of money 3 weeks later. And those blue jeans with the fray over there...you wore those when you got your first job and lived on PBJ for 6 months. I've always loved Anthropologie from a distance. I would buy small trinkets which I still have over 8 years later. I've never purchased clothing because it appeared they only served up double zeros. Well that is not true. I found more items than I could count in 14, 16 and 18. Additionally the staff, especially at the Ponce location are very sweet. Shout out to all the staff especially Gina for asking my name and getting it right. This place is not cheap, but I do think it's reasonable for the quality of clothing. Browse. Enjoy. I usually shop at the Lenox or Alpharetta Anthropologie locations (which are both nice) but am so happy that I stopped by this Ponce City Market store today! This store has a massive selection of home items including a full design center featuring furniture and custom fabric options. The home focus of this Anthro really reflects the surrounding retailers as West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, and Rejuvenation are all located close by. The customer service was also strong here. I purchased candles as a gift, and the sales associate was exceptionally friendly. I really look forward to shopping at this location again in the future! read more

I really enjoy shopping at this store and particularly this location. This store is such a great fit for Ponce Market and being outside of the enclosed area it's convenient to get in and out of without getting caught up in the restaurant/ bar crowd. The personnel at this location are always courteous and helpful. They have a huge well attended fitting area. This is such a fun place to shop for clothes, intimate apparel, loungewear, candles and other home decor including furniture as well as beauty items and accessories. They are always getting in new merchandise which means they always have something on sale and very frequently an extra percentage off of all sale items. Their clothes are so unique and they carry styles that appeal to most any taste and age. While the reoccurring theme is boho shabby chic, they do carry more conservative items acceptable for work and formal occasions. One would think they cater to a young, trendy shopper but I was recently told their key demographic is over 40. Quite possibly because their original prices can be high and while you can get deals, I have also discovered that if you find something truly unique it may never make it to the sale room. I never leave here empty handed. read more

I usually love this location and am a lifelong Anthro fan, heck i even worked at 2 locations because I love it so much. But lately I've been followed around A TON even when I have no large bags with me, just a Fanny pack. Which is weird because I shop at this location regularly, and then today a sales associate let someone obviously cut me in line without even an attempt at remedying it. I voiced an issue with it, she ignored me. Then I figured let me go back to inform her that's not cool (very nicely of course), her response was oh ok. I worked at a larger volume Anthro and that is so below their standard of customer service. Absolutely rude. Mind you this is the south so like no surprise but between the following and then letting a white woman blatantly cut a black woman in line and just not giving a crap? Come on money has one color, green act like it, all of your guests deserve a pleasant shopping experience. read more

The space is beautiful and they have a great selection. But the best part about this store is Ilsa. She's a wizard of a personal shopper and by the time you leave the store, you'll have a brand-new outfit AND a brand-new friend. She's small, spry, fabulous, and has fiery red hair. I am just as lured by the Anthropologie magical dust as lots of other women. I stopped by on a recent visit to PCM with AT and our little one and the store was kind of busy but not wildly insane, considering it was Black Friday! I knew about the 30% off everything promo and looked throughout the store for a scarf that I had been eyeing online for a bit. While there weren't crowds the likes of what I'd seen on prior Black Friday shopping excursions (never again), there were enough that my son was getting a little overwhelmed, so I couldn't poke into every little corner. I did an easy stroll throughout the store, pawing a few items to see if they were as soft as they appeared (most were), browsing the different cabinet knobs available (we want to replace the metal IKEA ones on our TV stand, in hopes of mitigating serious injury to our kid once he's figured out how to circumvent our play area security in the living room) and spending a few extra minutes looking in the clearance section (my favorite area of most stores, haha). Having my heart set on the scarf and failing to locate it, I wasn't enthusiastic about anything else I found. I am sure that during future visits to Ponce City Market, I'll browse around Anthropologie for a good deal. But with online shopping being the bane of my existence, it is pretty hard to convince me to make impulsive buys during window shopping trips, even with strategic product placement. read more

If I could vote more than 5 stars I would. I believe her name was Nancy (adorable red head at Ponce Location) she went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I came in to search for a dress to wear to some up coming weddings. She want above and beyond with helping me find the perfect dress. From helping with the fitting to going to the rack and finding other options while I tried things on, she exceeded expectations. I hope Anthropologie uses her as an example of how customers want to be treated. Want to also give kudos to the sweet girls working in the dressing room. They were supportive and kind during the entire experience. The woman who checked me out at the register was stellar. She asked if I wanted to be enrolled in the rewards program and was very patient as I gave her my information. I don't usually visit the PCM location, but it is the closest to my residence. I visited them on 3/3/17 and had a wonderful experience. I was shopping for an event and one of the sales ladies and I really connected. I picked out many options, and I ended up leaving with one of her picks. She was so nice to talk to me about options, set them up for me in my dressing room, then talked me through it when I came out. THANK YOU! She was a blonde lady wearing a gorgeous blue dress with a great scarf (I hope you all read these and get credit!). At my event, I looked great and received a million compliments. I am addicted to the overpriced hippie clothes at this Anthropologie! And yes, only at this particular Anthropologie. I don't think I've ever found anything that I liked or that fit me at other locations, but for some reason I always find lots of great options here. It may be because this location is not at a traditional mall (which I hate so I rarely go to traditional malls)- who knows. OK, this place is a chain store and yes, I'm completely falling for the marketing and sheen of the place. When you enter, there are a couple of sections off to the left that have home decor and knickknacks, a room on the right just past the registers, and a section in the back with a large sale section...if I were to be nitpicky, I would say the sale area needs to be spread out more b/c when the store is busy, the sale area is very crowded.The fitting rooms are always clean and well-attended to: sales floor is organized and easy to navigate...most importantly, not overwhelming to browse. I already mentioned the pricey hippie-wannabe clothes...love the style but can only feasibly afford the clothes only when discounted. Overall, love this store but need self-disclipline to stay away, since I always leave here with my wallet a bit lighter. read more
