There is a fairly large selection of formal wear, kept in individual plastic covers, in the back which I don't see often in vintage boutiques. Although those days are long gone, and many of the stores that made it "premium" are no longer here, it's better than most. There are still some good deals. It's also fairly large so you'll spend a decent amount of time walking through every section. We're usually shopping for something specific -- today it's jeans for the husband. But we always end up with more than planned. :) We browsed through many of the stores, spending much of our time at Lucky Brand, Levi's, Lululemon, adidas, The North Face and Ralph Lauren. We got the best deal on jeans at Levi's and surprisingly found a nice lightweight sweater for him at Lululemon. We like to grab a light snack or drink treat while we shop. Wetzel's Pretzels is a favorite but today we discovered that Boba Time has joined the outlets! Overall, it was a really nice day. I realized when we left that I missed going to Pottery Barn! We'll need to start on that side next time.

The lady from the Chinese place almost got me from her giving me sample of the orange chicken. The rest of the food hall is typical shopping center fare from pizza, Mediterranean, and cheese steaks. The food hall is smallish in relation to how much real estate these outlets have. Outside of the food hall on the property are Wetzel's Pretzels and Fatburger which has its own space for seating. In the early 2010s, I've visited Guess and purchased pairs of sandals. Was not really motivated to check them out. Did visit Nike, Adidas, and Puma. Puma was not busy and had pretty decent prices. Adidas was crazy busy especially with customers interested in FIFA World Cup gear from various countries. Nike was super busy too. If they had a TJ Maxx at this center, I would likely have found and purchased deals. The Regal Edwards movie theater is just a block away. Previous review! Overall these Outlets are A-OK!

In all this recent rain I feel enveloped on coziness. I also got a classic white t shirt I love!!! It was comparable to others I tried that were $88-$99 but at Nati it was $39. That's much better. There are other clothing boutiques in Simi, which I googled from the parking lot of Trendy Me, and took my business there. I was visiting the Farmers Market on Friday, the one by TGI Fridays, and there was a booth for Trendy Me Botique, and I wondered if the store was closed with a note on the door. I would strongly recommend adjusting your hours on Google when you are not open. I won't waste my time driving there again to find you closed.

However, if you want to park for free, you need to park at the perimeters of the Collection and walk to this Lululemon. What I like about this establishment is that they immediately serve you as soon as you walk in, in comparison to the Lululemon outlets where the educators kind of ignore you. My intention for this visit was to use the hemming service adding to the great value of my pants. I was helped by Ryley F., who promptly was able to take me in with a smile to hem my 5 pocket, ABC, warpstreme pants. He was able to serve me efficiently by leading me to the fitting room. He awaited for me to emerge so he could promptly measure my pants, pin it, then send it on its way to get hemmed. It took exactly 7 days until I got my pants hemmed back. It was such a smooth and efficient process, all Lululemons should operate this way. When I returned to the store today to pick up my pants, it took no less than 1 minute where I was in and out. Now that's the kind of 5 star service I expect!

I did however picked up two tops for myself and a pair of pants for my partner. Men's section is more limited but still fun to browse through. Smaller store because it is an outlet, but worth stopping in. Definitely noticed the inventory here had more women's sizes in the 0-2 range. The staff are all very nice and helpful. I lost one of my precious earrings in the changing room and when I went back two days later to inquire about it, they had it in their lost and found! They even have a jar of Milkbones for the fur babies! My dog certainly appreciated the treats.

Somehow, I ended up with my wallet, so what better time to shop? Fashion Gal has a lot of trendy clothes, and I've been wanting to update some pieces in my wardrobe, so I took a lap around. Unfortunately, a lot of the clothing had cheap/thin material and high prices. However, directly to the left of the store - upon entering - was a clearance section. The items ranged from about $3 to $20 in the clearance section plus there was an additional discount on some of the items. I looked at a cute blue dress that I wasn't sure I wanted, wandered away, found out they have dressing rooms, and went back to try on the dress, where I found a cuter, fitter, smaller lady eyeing it. I watched, eagle eyed, as she lifted it up from the rack to check it out and eventually put it back. I bolted over and grabbed it, trying it on in the dressing room. It fit and looked really nice! Score! It cost $5! I've wandered in here a few times after shopping at Wal-Mart to look in the clearance racks for more nice, discounted clothes. I found a pretty dress (but had cheap material) for $3, a cute skirt skirt for $3, and romper for $3. Everything was also discounted for another 20%, so I walked away with three cute items of clothing for less than 10 bucks! Usually I now only look in the clearance section, then I'm out when I find nothing I like. Everything else in the store is a little overpriced for my tastes, but I definitely was excited to find some cute pieces. And it's a good way to hype up yourself up for going into the busy Wal-Mart shopping center to do some essential shopping when you know needless and fun shopping at Fashion Gal is next!
