This is the second time that this happen to me on this store and I can't not tolerate this anymore because it was very disrespectful the way how some employees treated customers. I went to buy some clothes at this store and the girl on the cashier was very rude she didn't even said hi How are you sir or did you find everything ok sir on my mind I was it's ok she just having a bad day which I understand dealing with some rude customers will put you on a bad mood what really kinda upset me it was when she was throwing all my clothes on the bags like garbage.. when I saw that I immediately told her if she could please folded my clothes which she reply that she was no obligated to fold my clothes and I could do it my self. So I told her that it's ok I was gonna do it my self so I folded my clothes and placed on the bags... at that point I was just trying to hold my temper and I didn't say anything because at the end of the day I feel that everyone must treat everybody with respect. So I just went to ask the security girl what was the managers name to make a complaint and she told me that it was Maria but I just decide no to talk to her about it and left the store. Ross Dress for Less - Receipt - Women's Clothing Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I was shopping in Ross Dress store in Wichita Falls, Texas tonight and picked up a water bottle from the shelf. The lid was not tightened which caused the bottle to drop onto the floor. This water bottle had a plastic lid and the bottle part was made from a ceramic material which shattered after it fell onto the floor. This bottle which was partly made from a ceramic material was on the shelf among other water bottles which were metal and plastic. As this bottle was ceramic and capable of breaking and shattering, which is what happened, why would the store place this item alongside bottles that were not breakable. I removed 98% of the pieces from the floor and noticed that an employee started to picked up what was left. She came beside me and picked up a few remaining pieces without inquiring about my involvement and whether or not I had been cut or hurt in the incident. I called the manager after leaving the store and he said she did not ask because they were short on employees and did not have time to inquire. I informed him that we were short on employees where I worked also; but, we were expected to assist customers and show compassion and concern. He seemed in a rush to end the conversation and said he was aware of the incident; however, he did not provide interest. He asked if I was ok after I informed him that the employee did not inquire if I had been hurt. This incident at Ross where an item was incorrectly placed on the wrong shelf alongside items that were totally different created a situation that could have been extremely serious. If a child, or even an elderly person, had picked up the ceramic bottle that was placed next to the plastic and metal bottles the child could have been seriously injured from broken glass as the bottle fell to the floor. In the past I have visited and made countless purchases in Ross Dress store in Wichita Falls, Texas. I will not shop in this store in the future as it has a dangerous environment created by poorly trained employees and manager who are not apologetic for their negligence and lack of interest for customer safety. read more

What store can you call that says they can't look and see if they have sports bras you are looking for?! This one! I had bought a couple of sports bras I liked at two different Ross stores in the area and was hoping to get one more without driving to any other stores and coming up empty. The first one I called in Arlington had a nice lady answer who went and looked for me, letting me know they only had 4 sports bras but none in the color or generic brand I was looking for. The guy who picked up at this location straight up said "yeah, no we can't do that at this store." Talk about bad customer service. It seemed more like he was just being lazy. I was in the Prosper, TX Ross. It took me over 30 minutes to get through the line. I was probably 5th in line. There were two cashiers and they wouldn't call anyone from the floor to come help. I even asked if they could. There were probably 15-20 people in line. Then a lady comes in and skips all of us to return an item. That cashier was calling people from the regular line to check us out. How can she bypass all of us for a cashier to give her money and here are all of us who want to actually spend money! I'm not sure if it's because my experience at WalMart was so awful or if this Ross really is as nice as it was. We walked in and it was way more organized than expected, no clothes on the floor, sizes where they were suppose to be, etc... I was pleasantly surprised. They also had a nice selection of everything, tops, bottoms, shoes, house wares, a little bit of everything for everyone. I also have to add that they had the cleanest, roomiest dressing rooms of any Ross Store I've ever been in, plus the help was helpful and friendly. read more

This location does not even deserve a star. This is not the first time I've had an issue with this certain location, but this time could not have gone without being brought to someone's attention. I went into Ross today just for some pants. I was planning to just go in and out. I approached the dressing room and there was a Ross employee speaking to a security guard outside the dressing rooms. I walked up with my items and told the employee I had six items. She pointed to a clothes hanger and counted the clothes as if I were lying about the amount of clothes I had. Once she gave me the number to proceed to the dressing room she then continued her conversation with the security guard. I finished trying on the pants and decided to keep two of the items. When I returned to the entrance to the dressing room. The Ross employee was still talking to the security guard and I went towards the racks of clothes I saw hung up. The employee then approached me and said are you taking that clothes. I responded no. She then demanded that I return the clothes to where she counted the items of clothes I had. I again only decided to keep two of the items and left the two hangers in the dressing room. The employee said did you leave the hangers in the dressing room. I responded yes I did. She said you need to bring them here. I returned to the dressing room for the hangers and returned them to the girl. Before I walked away I asked for her name. Cecilia is her name. I then went to the register and politely told the cashier that I wanted to speak with a manager, she pointed to a register, and told me to go over to another register to speak with a manager. Instead of the asking the manager to come over to talk to me. I told her no she needed to have a manager come and talk to me at her register. The cashier's name is Gregoria. The manager came over (not the one that was at the register) his name was Randy. I explained what occurred in the dressing room to Randy, and he honestly seemed as if he did not care and had a face that made me feel as though I was wasting my time. First of all, this is absolutely unacceptable to treat a paying customer as if they are an employee. I do not work at Ross and should not be expected to do someone else's job. This particular store has improved over the past years! It went from messy and terrible customer service to organized and extremely friendly employees! The floors and fitting rooms were clean and clothes were actually in the places where they had to be! Normally, other Ross' would look like a hurricane passed by, especially on a Friday night, but not this one! read more

I've always gone to this Ross and have never had a bad experience until today. I was at the cash register buying $200 worth of things. Some of my items were clothes and the guy at the register wasn't even folding the clothes he was just grabbing them and turning them into a ball. And I told him "excuse me, can you fold my clothe properly instead of rolling it into a ball and throwing it in my bag", and he responded with " well you should've gone to Macy's if you wanted that kind of treatment". He was very rude, and I hope that no one ever experiences that. It doesn't matter how much money I'm spending, but no costumer deserves that type of treatment from anyone, doesn't matter where you work. read more

TODAY 9/19/2014 a lady lost her purse and the security would not even bother to help they were also very rude and really didn't care. They simply said it was not there problem nor could they help us in help find the women's purse.
