I loved AS in the past because they were not like most plus size stores with the big flower prints, cheap materials, over the top colors, inconsistent sizing and just overall ugly clothes. This is now Ashley Stewart. Yes you can find pieces and pull something together but overall there is no draw to the store at all for me. I am between a 12w-14w & very much into classy with trendy grown women fashion. The sizing is so inconsistent. Why do they put so much padding in the bras...whyyy?! All plus size women are not busty!!! Please explain to me the 'curvy girl' line! Are we not all curvy girls? 1x=2x, 2x=3x, whaaat?!? She them turned towards the back shelf and tried to place them in a binder. I finally asked " could one of you assist me" and her response was "I'll be there". The next words were: the price of the item and "use the swipe". I did not say anything to her but offered a smile. She did not thank me, no " come again"; " no forget you"; no nothing. When I inquired in the store about any remaining winter coats and why I didn't receive a return call, "Stevie" basically put the onus on me that I should have gone online and purchased the coat. The first words should be an apology, not shifting blame to a customer, especially one who has been loyal and dropped tens of thousands in over 20 years shopping with you.
