This well-curated store proved that maxim true as I found a lot of true vintage pieces, quirky and in excellent condition. The accessories here were also plentiful. Lots of unique hair clips, chunky jewelry and handmade Etsy-esque items. I caught and released a Free People mini-dress and a Diane von Furstenberg wrap. Surprisingly, there was a unhoused gentleman having some kind of altercation with himself just outside the store as I was leaving. From a seller's POV, I already knew they wouldn't accept everything I brought in and their buyers would lowball everything, but after clearing out my closets for Spring and reviewing everything with a close eye, I realized some items might be worth getting some money out of rather than donating it all to the local thrift. Unfortunately there really isn't a market for a lot of my clothing and shoes in the OKC metro area and I wanted to get out of town for a bit so I decided a road trip to Dallas was necessary. The store itself is clean, has parking right out front and the staff was pretty friendly and reasonable. In any other situation I would do trade, but for obvious reasons this time I did cash. I got enough money to pay for a full tank of gas on the way home, despite selling them premium vintage and designer pieces. My biggest complaint is that I was told they are only looking for natural fibers, but the clothing they are selling is synthetic fast fashion. read more

July 9th,2026 i walked into a buffalo Exchange to sell some cloths i brought (2) pair of really great shape rock revival jeans (no rips or tears!) (2) pair of Rock Rivival shorts great shape (no rips or tears) (1) Pair of silver jeans (2) pair of Lucky brand stone washed shorts great shape (no rips or tears) (2) Levi's 501 shorts both pretty new (no rips or tears) (2) spider dry fit shirts practically new. I turned my bag into who is the manager sorry didnt get her name, she signed me up and told me it would be about an hour so I sat down so I could keep a eye out on my belongings then a couple had walked in and the manager placed there bags on top of my 1 bag not only that at this point ive been waiting about 2 hours and the couple who had walked in the manager started assisting them immediately (i got skipped) , i did mentioned to please do not get the bags mixed up now as the manager was going through the couples things I noticed my bag was gone, i interrupted and ask the manager where is my bag she tried to point it out but couldn't find it. There Isn't a good selection of quality or desirable merchandise. I've visited 2 times and won't go a third. There's a person who may be a manager that's just uninterested in the customers and rude when you attempt to interact with her. The employees seemed to be treated the same by her. I try to sell you my clothes, but they're never trendy enough at that very moment... even though I swear I'll see nearly identical pieces and the same brands on display as I go shopping after being handed back my giant bag of clothes. Very hard to find parking, there are only 10 or so spots for the business but it's shared with the shop beside it. This place is a great find. The people greet you when you enter and are helpful finding items. It is nicely organized and very clean. While we were there they were constantly cleaning and sweeping the floor. We watched people bring in clothes and the staff evaluate.ld what would work. I used to love this location but now I'm less enthused. I came to sell recently and I had three boxes to carry in. I was juggling the first box and my toddler, and the employees saw me struggling, but nobody held the door for me, much less help me carry the rest of the boxes in. When it came to selling, they never buy much, and it often isn't the pieces I was expecting for them to buy. They chose some poorer-quality tops, but didn't want any of my pretty and high-quality semi-formal dresses. It was unclear when I was called back to the counter which items they had chosen, and I felt awkward and unwanted. When it comes to buying, their stock has changed a lot, too. It's a lot of Gen-Z clubbing type clothes, and not much that I'd consider wearable. The shoe section is usually my favorite part, but they were disorganized, cluttered, and with the sizes all mixed up. I have always thrifted at Buffalo exchange for the past few years. It has a good collection of clothes and the staff there is very nice. However when it comes to selling&buying...Buffalo exchange is not the place to go. I am a gen-z and I keep up with trends quite well. I also worked as a fashion intern in the past few summers. I could 100000% say that the lady who was looking through my clothes either had a horrible taste in fashion or just racist. She was a middle age white woman who was wearing a cowboy hat. She looked through my stuff (about 15-20 pieces) and only picked one out. The total was $3.5 store credit, $1.5 in cash. To clarify, I had two pieces from iamgia and one small handbag from jadedlondon. They are both quite expensive and trendy brands. Just based on this experience, I will not be coming back. read more

I have came here a few times to buy items and honestly found some really great finds! I am in the process of moving and found things that I need to sell and donate. Recently I came back to sell for the first time and honestly it was a great experience. I got to go straighter to the seller table with the buyer. She evaluated my clothes in front of me and we got to chat! She was really nice and pretty quick but still checked each article of clothing. She assessed the clothes and gave me an offer at the end to either get store credit or cash. I was able to go to the cashier and redeem my cash out. The process was quick and efficient. Quite a while ago I went in to sell some name brand, plus size jeans that I had JUST gotten from Nordstrom that season. They just didn't fit right for me. I walked in hoping to get some money and the sassy skinny hipster wannabe mr Shawn Mendez lookin desk person said "oooohhhhh we only take in style clothes, g'day!" men don't have a lot but they have the audacity!!! Honey, if I saw a pair of Paige, 7's, Citizens, or Mother jeans on those racks in my size, they ARE in style for plus size. So I beg your pardon Shawn. G'day. Love Buffalo Exchange. It's so much fun to shop for deals on a wide range of clothing brands and I've even been successful in finding brand new designer clothes still with tags. They have lots of variety even coats and jackets and clothes for men and women. Their buy back program allows you to sell your clothes and apply the amount towards a credit or cash. The buyers are particular for what's in style and in good condition. You do get more out of the store credit when selling your clothes. I love browsing in the store to kill time and add some amazing designer labels to my wardrobe. Since covid they mandate masks throughout the store and even in the dressing rooms. Finding parking can be trickier but I've been lucky finding it right in front of the store. read more

I took in two full baskets, overflowing with brand, new name, brand, clothing, and shoes, converse Nikes Victoria's Secret. Some of them still had tags on them. We're talking the girl takes both of my baskets to the back and brings me to empty baskets and I'm thinking OK I'm waiting for them to give me some money and she tells me no we're going to donate all of it. I said no you're not I want my things back. Needless to say I walked out with two baskets that we're halfway full at Best and I received one Nike slide back. . I don't even have both shoes! What am I supposed to do with one Nike slide? I need both of them to sell them or to at least wear them and those were brand new. My boyfriend and I love Buffalo exchange used to go all the time in different cities, but we never find anything at this location. Selling: I brought tons of new and gently used lululemon, Zara, platform doc martens, Nike air max, pretty little thing that I've bought within the last year that they said was off trend, but then proceeded to buy the clothes I brought that were completely off trend. I've loved Buffalo Exchange for a decade now and went there all the time in California to buy and sell. I went in to this location to sell two big bags this last spring. I was dressed very casually since we'd just gone on a hike (and I'm also a new mom lol). Everything in the bags was name brand and hardly worn. I've sold to a lot of consignment and resale shops so I totally understand the buying limitations and am usually not upset at all when things get passed over. But I kid you not -- the employee (who was dressed like she was about to go to an anime rave) looked me up and down, told me to wait right in front of her while she "looked through" all my items, then proceeded to take each one out one by one, fold them and put them back, and NOT LOOK AT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM. She was talking to me, asking me questions, looking me up and down the whole time, which is why I noticed her not looking at a single thing. Then after about 5 excruciating minutes of pretty much nonstop eye contact she said "I'm so sorry, but we weren't able to accept any of your items today". It was almost comical and I should've said something but I was so weirded out. On my way out I noticed everyone else was dressed similarly to her - part rave, part Halloween, and all the clothes in there are similar to that. Think sequined cropped tops with studded leather straps, old anime shirts, fluffy boots, etc. I promise I'm not a prude but I came out of there feeling like I just left an alternate universe.
