No one ever told me that this was the case. Not when I first purchased. Not when I called. There is no sign that states this policy. So basically, I made a $200 donation. Transparency regarding store policies is a must. So much for doing business with local, small businesses. Cannot support the small businesses that are not doing ethical business. Small businesses work hard for every client. You would think as hard as it is the customer would be valued and treated honestly.

Especially since I know it will be 20-40% off in a few days. Oh well, such is life. I try and think of it as free money to spend, even though I know deep down that I spent a lot to get that Kohl's cash. I had never shopped at this location before. After going to 2 different locations last week looking for dress shirts and ties for hubby, we wanted to seek out a new location. First, I had a really hard time finding the dressing room to try on a few things. They need better signage so you can find it! Then, half of the dressing rooms were closed off! What could prompt a plain room to be "out of order"? It's not like there are plumbing issues. I also recommend that they install more hooks inside the dressing rooms. I like to hang things that I plan to buy on one hook and things I'm not buying on another hook. That's in addition to the initial hook I used when I arrived. That way, it's easy to exit and put the items in the correct place. I've even been to some stores that have fun with it by placing a sign by the hook - "coming home with me", "didn't work", etc. There didn't seem to be as much stock as the other stores I had been to recently. Hubby found a pair of tennis shoes and I found a Croft & Barrow sleeveless top. I usually have to do an alteration to the arm hole openings because they make them so huge. I tried on the top inside out so I could see if I could alter it. I could and I did. I still had to pay on top of the Kohl's cash since the two items were full price.

For some reason, when the package arrived in Memphis, it was sent to Florida! I live about an hour from Memphis! when I contacted Avara, I was pretty much told to wait & hope it arrives. I paid extra for shipping protection. I was told that was to insure my package against loss or damage. Well isn't it lost? Using the USPS is not a good idea, especially if a package has to go through Memphis! obviously I am not valued as a customer. They have their money & I have nothing!
