This isn't my favorite Ross, but the last few times I've stopped in, I did really well. Over the holidays I picked up nice candles and body lotion sets for my coworkers. The prices were so inexpensive, I was able to buy myself a bunch of holiday gifts too. I picked out a few things yesterday, but I didn't have the patience to wait in the long line. My fault, as it was the day before Easter and they were extremely busy. I'm going to stop by after work tomorrow and hopefully find the kitchen items I should have bought yesterday, and I liked a few other things, so I am excited about going back to finish what I started yesterday. I will NEVER shop at Ross again for these reasons: I bought a stainless steel travel mug that claimed to be leak proof. It was not and Ross refused to let me return it because it was missing the tag, although I had the receipt. The clerk said it could not be resold so it couldn't be refunded. And, I also saw a food product I buy regularly and it was marked higher than the regular grocery store. And finally, there are always 15-20 people in line because of lack of staff. read more

The best Ross locations are definitely near Boca. They have such nice stuff!!! I was shopping for my son this time around but I always go there when I visit our family. I will definitely continue to come when I visit. Great shoe selection for men, women and kids. They have nice handbags and great selection of clothing for everyone also. This is a strange store. I came by here despite the low star rating because they open early for one of these stores - 9am- and it is around the corner from where I go some mornings. I am less familiar with Ross than TJMaxx or Marshalls, but I was pretty surprised at the lack of brand names in the dresses section. I did find some brand names in the seperates section, but some of the prices seemed pretty high for this type of store. I did find a handful of items, and trying them on was a breeze, although the dressing room has seen better days. Only 1 cashier but she was nice. This plaza is kind of abandoned, which is a tad creepy, but there was plenty of parking. read more

I am writing to express serious concerns about the ongoing issues at this location. Every time I visit, there are seven register stations available, yet only one employee is ever scheduled to operate them. This repeated understaffing results in lines of 20 or more customers at almost any given time. Today was the breaking point. The line was so long and the wait so unreasonable that I felt compelled to take a photo to document the situation. Waiting 30 to 40 minutes just to check out a few basic items is absolutely unacceptable and shows a clear failure in store management and staffing practices. Customers should not have to plan their day around the possibility of being stuck in line for nearly an hour due to lack of staff. This is not a one-time issue--it happens every single visit, which indicates a systemic problem that needs immediate corporate attention. I strongly urge corporate to: Review the staffing practices at this location Hold management accountable for the consistent lack of adequate coverage Ensure more employees are scheduled during busy hours Provide proper training and support so customers receive the service they deserve This store has potential, but without urgent intervention, customer frustration will only continue to grow. This was a fairly typical Ross. It was surprisingly busy compared to most of their chain stores that I've been in recently. As usual, it's pretty much self service except at check out. They had a large selection of women's clothing and quite a few racks contained clearance sale items. It's a mix of items -- some decent and even a few designer brand tags among some things you wouldn't even consider. It' s the kind of place that you really have to have patience and time to dig through. I came looking for a summer purse and there wasn't much from which to choose. And as for shoes, not much here that appealed either. So what I originally stopped by here for, I did not find. But while I was here, I did look at some of their dresses. Again, nothing that appealed nor that I could use or buy. But in any case, now I know, and I won't be wondering what I'd missed out on. read more

This was an interesting place. Just like all large department stores, you can never actually trust the hangers or the sizes, but everything was very much mixed around. The employees did not really seem that interested in doing anything but the bare minimum. The changing room attendant was a very sweet older lady. She took her job very seriously and did a good job. However, the dressing rooms were incredibly broken down and in bad condition. There was a good layer of dust about a centimeter thick on every surface. There was mold on the ceiling. I tried to get out of there quickly. The doors were broken and there were stickers and random security devices all over the stalls. It was very gross. The store did have a pretty good selection of clothes. The cashier literally did not say a word to me, and after throwing the clothes in a bag dropped it to the floor. She did not say anything when the receipt came out so I took it and said thank you and left quickly as she was already ringing up the next customer and shoving their clothes in a bag above mine. So I don't think I'll be going back if I can help it, there are other Ross's stores in the area and I'll see if one of those are a little better. read more

Zero stars!! What a. nightmare to go to this store! Just trying to return some items. 2 registers open, one points to the other as the return one. When it came time to return items for the lady in front of me, she took her sweet time. Then, she decided to ring a purchase instead of a return. Afterwards, she returned my items in lightning speed without hanging each item like the lady in front of me. When asked to see a Manager, she said she was the Mgr. Well, now we know why this store is always rated slow. Staff is awfull!! Employees are disrespectful!! Like they own the place!!! So unlike many other Ross stores I frequent. So sad!! read more

I have to agree with the other reviewer. This place is terrible. It's such a perpetually sad, run down dump, you really have to wonder what management is thinking. Fresh tactics are definitely needed. The biggest problem here is that there is zero thought given to inventory presentation. It's very dollar store like. The men's wallet display was literally a haphazard pile of wallets on a stand with an occasional loose piece of manufacturers packaging tossed in. The electronics area was full of headphones and phone cases that had clearly been opened and just shoved back in the box. The clothing selection was disorganized and the sizes were all mixed up. The decrepit sunglasses rack almost fell on top of me when I gave it a spin. All that aside, the best part of my visit, by far, was seeing the security guard chasing a mouse with a broom. Ross. I've never been disappointed in a Ross until I walked into this store. I'm not sure how management selects which stores to place security, but this one has it. Upon entering, I was welcomed by the security detail and it went down hill from there. The shelves and racks were very unorganized. There were clothes on top of the racks, clothes on the floor; it was just a mess. I can usually rely on the handbags to be organized in some type of manner usually by color. Don't hold your breath. There were multiple bags out of place. There was even a cooler in the handbag section. I managed to find three items I wanted: a pair of Under Armor pants for only $9.99, lipstick organizer for $5.99, and a hearty bag of chia seeds for $2.99. I went to stand in the already long line and there were only two registers open. And the line just got longer and longer and didn't seem to move much. I thought about the items I had in my hand and how I could easily find them at another Ross store; I refused to further stand in that ridiculous line. So, I returned all of my items to their rightful places and left the store empty-handed. People, history was made. I've never left a Ross unhappy AND empty-handed. After living and shopping in Delray Beach for over 30 years, I have found the lack of ability to return an item with a receipt to the store without putting my personal identifying information into their computer system. Not only that, but the store manager was extremely rude and just quoting the "store policy" that an item attempted to be returned twice after spending over $100 in the store could not be honored in order to keep a customer happy when she returned to the store with the receipt 1 day late. Having my i ID stolen I have been told to protect myself by not giving out my personal info to be put into computer systems that we don't know if they are secure. If you want to compete in this world with amazon and other online services you need to change your customer service policies. Regional Manager named Bill Cuson just called me and gave me no satisfaction to ever want to shop again. Go elsewhere and note they do not CARE if you are their customer or not. I asked for the address for corporate and he said he did not know it. Go else where.... Boy do I miss steinmart. They are online in case anyone is interested. Customer Service back in the day was never to quote a store policy and to be flexible in return policy. Staff here is terrible. Go somewhere else. I LOVE ROSS!!!!! Being a New Yorker where we don't have any Ross', I get reallllly excited when I come to Florida to visit my Mom our first stop is always Ross! I always pack less so I can shop. They have such cute stuff. They have clothes, shoes, purses, skin care, sneakers, home decor.....etc etc etc! And the best part, it is SO CHEAP!!!! I just returned 6 days ago and came with a whole lotta stuff for the summer! I'm very happy. The place is not the cleanest and the staff are nice at the checkout counter but the Haitian lady who works the fitting room is kinda rude. Less than zero I have never felt the need to do a review for any stores but this store is so embarrassing, especially for the area it is in. The store in the Del Ray Marketplace is so dirty. You walk in the store and immediately see the dirt crusted floors especially, where the carts are. You smell the dust and dirt immediately. Started to walk away but decided to look for the christmas bag I needed for a gift today, (Desperate). Grabbed a cart with disgust went around bend and almost tripped on the goods on floor, must not have any clean up staff. Put my cart aside to look at face cream that I noticed, and a store employee pushed my cart to get through with total disregard and rudeness. Went around to drop cart off , because as I look down the store saw such disarray that I would definitely risk tripping or cause someone to trip while I avoid the foor disarray. As I made myself around the cashier's side where exit doors are, I noticed even more disarray. The only saving grace was there was hardly anyone in the store maybe 20 or so and most were on the one cashier waiting line. The rest of staff were nowhere to be seen, I have no clue, except for the rude one who smashed my cart away at beginning of my visit. Our world is now going through such a disturbing time of airborne diseases and covid being so rampid, the safety precautions and sanitizing of this store is not happening, makes a person feel that Ross stores do not care or even respect our society. The total disregard of normal health precautions and the even more urgent ones of covid spread is detestable. As a precaution , A sign should be posted on front door saying you are entering a store that is not following normal health and cleaning process, please enter at your own risk. This store needs some serious customer service training--especially the store manager. This Ross has some of the rudest employees that I have ever encountered, and I have a career in customer service/management. Cashier did not put my sunglasses in my bag the on my visit the day before; upon my return to retrieve the item I rightfully purchased, the loss prevention guy tried to claim that I hadn't done so despite my receipt showing I had. They went to "check the tapes" before they even checked the register I had been through the day before. After the Loss Prevention worker "checked" the tapes, he claimed that there was no way I had purchased them. I sternly requested for him to please check the tapes again, so the store manager, raising her voice, says to me: "Well since you're so adamant about it, I guess I'll go check myself." She bobbed her head at me and made me feel as if I had done something wrong for choosing to shop here. All this over a pair of $5.99 glasses; seriously. The store manager was rude to me, said "I'm the store manager and I'll have the tapes checked. That's what we do!" She was incredibly rude, and after they finally realized that yes, the cashier had indeed made a mistake, they were apologetic. I had originally suggested for her to check the register, but she insisted on checking the tapes first and being rude to me. The people claimed that they checked the tapes, and treated me like I was somehow beneath them for for shopping there. On top of this, I called earlier in the day and the woman on the phone told me to come in and they would just credit me... Additionally, the store manager also had a customer walk up to her attempting to get some help in Spanish, and I heard her say--loudly, condescendingly--"Does anybody here speak Spanish? I don't speak no Spanish!"--so maybe that's something for the Ross higher-up's to look into. On top of this, there were two cashiers and a line of 20 people--isn't there some way to make this more efficient? I live right down the street from this location, and I just recently moved here. It's horrible to think that this is the customer service my neighbors and I are getting. Uncalled for. I don't intend on returning, and I don't recommend anyone else visit this location either. Maybe we'll get a different store after this one closes, because if it continues to be run like this, I don't see it lasting long. TL;DR: Store manager has no compassion; employees work together to ensure customers feel belittled, and overall the staff does a great job of chasing off customers. I give this place a -5 stars. Horrible customer service!!!! 2 registers opened. 1 line for regular purchases, another was suppose to be for returns but both lines returns had priority. The lady in front of me asked the Loss Prevention guy if someone could open another line, very nicely, he shrugged his shoulders with an attitude and kept walking. I asked one of the employees if someone could open up another line because it was 6 of them walking around and she told me she couldn't do anything. I asked for a manager and she walked away from me.
