Dizzy Rock is a custom furniture store located on Federal Hwy in south Boynton Beach. According to their website "What distinguishes our brand Is our eccentric, eclectic, unique and fully customizable new way to express yourself or your brand with your furniture, home or business. Not only do we make furniture pretty but we make it last." At Dizzy Rock they can fabricate anything you can dream up. They create custom headboards, rehab furniture, and can even print whatever fabric you desire. The only limit is your imagination and budget. There is so much to look at in this store where everything is eye catching. How about a train locomotive that is a bar, a coffin bookshelf, a life size giraffe, steam punk cuckoo clock, or a graffiti painting monkey. Each piece is whimsical and discussion worthy. Of course this much creativity doesn't come cheap. Nothing is marked with a price but I overhead the monkey graffiti art piece was $4,000. They do have some small affordable gift items at the register. I admire anyone with this much creativity and artistic talent. This store is a one of a kind joy ride.

The sales person suggested that we check on the items in their Delray store. We'd been to the Boynton store a few times & had bought a teak bench. The Delray store selection is somewhat different. They have a large side yard with an enormous (for the size of the store) collection of pottery planters, decorative objects and more. Inside the small air conditioned space is an eclectic mix of decorative objects from around the world. Although my taste tends to run to modern pieces, I found myself drawn to a small table that is not like anything else we own. We bought this little table that looks as if it would come alive, if only in a Disney animated movie!

Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Two floor and the day I was there the second floor air conditioning was out so definitely cut my visit very short considering it was already 90 degrees outside. I'm not sure what I was expecting. With the pricing, and with what I've read, I expected it to be on the lines of a Roche Bobois... not even close. I know this is an outlet store but if this is what they sell... it's not for me. It had a really poor selection of damaged items that are still way over priced. I was honestly expecting to see much better prices on pieces especially ones with obvious flaws and I was surprised to see brands that come from China. I know RH has membership pricing and a strong following. IMO...there are so many better options and you can probably find brand new and factory fresh for the same price or even less than the used pieces they have. Personally I will go elsewhere. - [ ]

On top of that debacle we had a couple of issues with the items delivered and we went in circles with them to rectify the situation to no resolution on all but one issue. They don't care and they just keep pushing you off with "suggestions" on how to deal with their defective product. Horrible customer service. This furniture was too expensive to have so many issues. They made the shipping mistake and take no accountability for their negligence. Update - yes they replaced a table top when they sent the wrong one, However, we are still stuck with a wobbling table as well as cushions that have ties and no where to tie them onto. So I have ties hanging everywhere, not to mention the ties are already fraying! The delivery debacle cost me over $1100 ! How or why would $100 credit be acceptable!!! What a joke, we spent thousands of dollars on this furniture!
