OK, it's been five years since I've updated this review and it's about time lol. This was the nicest Ross around because it's newer and cleaner, but it's now sadly starting to look like every other Ross. They do still have a decent selection at this location and the shelves are nicely and neatly stocked, with the bonus that they haven't crammed the racks together yet so you barley fit a cart like they are doing it every other Ross! The only negative thing, and it is a very negative thing, is the staff here are hit or miss. There are a couple really friendly ones but not very often. There's one lady who has dark hair and she's always at the register in the middle of the store with the jewelry around it - not the one ones near the window in a row - and she's so rude and unfriendly, it's horrible. I always say hi with a big smile but she is rude, won't look you in the eye and only speaks to you if necessary and it's usually to argue; she literally could give two you know whats!!! Thank God for Mr. Kevin who is one of the really nice ones, and so friendly and helpful AND HE SPEAKS TO YOU lol! Too bad he's only there part-time, because he is amazing & they are super lucky to have him!!! I'm usually not a fan of Ross and haven't been to in years. They're always cluttered and you have to sift through the mess to find any good options. Buuuut I was in the area and decided to pop in and take a look. I'm so glad that I did. I was able to snag several great finds for myself, my Goddaughter, the kid, and my niece. Plenty of Hunter, kate spade, Karl Lagerfeld, Crocs, and other popular brands to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection and how organized everything was. Here's where you can get socks and underwear. Okay also white t shirts. These aren't going to be exciting, but they fall under the practical category. This Ross Dress for Less, used to have more dress clothes. Lately it seems barely any, no real choices in belts or ties either. Shoes are abysmal. Also they used to have designer colognes, and got you an incredible deal. Instead now it's outdated Curve for Men, or the horrible Beverly Hills Club that's a ripoff of Ralph Lauren Polo. Sorry there's a huge difference. Customer service is okay. Most of the interaction will be with the cashier. There's a decent amount of parking, and as long as you temper your expectations, it works for general purposes. read more

I'm not usually a fan of Ross, but this location has some nice things for low prices! I bought a couple of pairs of shoes for myself, a dress for me, and several Carters outfits for my one year old daughter. I love Carters but they can get pricey at times and these were great deals! I've been here a few times now for other miscellaneous items, including toys, and can always find a bargain. Customer service has been fine each time I've visited and the store is logically laid out. I'll definitely plan on returning to do some more summer shopping soon. read more

4/20/19 Once again I am here watching people shop for clothes that I have no interest in. The bathroom doors are lick, but the staff members hit a button on the wall to unlock the doors. Guess they don't want homeless people sleeping in the bathroom. Even though I am not getting anything for myself, this place has a calming effect on me despite it being crowded. I see one girl picking out prom shoes and the heels were high...she will be barefoot before the hour is up, or after prom photos which ever comes first. To be a teenager...well I never went to my own prom, but I did get asked to a friends prom her senior year. We will be back. read more

I prefer this particular Ross for a huge selection of women's trendy dress selections. I can pick up several dresses each season and not feel guilty. They literally have dresses ranging from $8 bucks up to $50, averaging around $15-$20 per dress. I get business casual dresses for work, church and trendy dresses for out and about and I receive compliments too. Don't get me wrong, they're not Ann Taylor quality, but they're trendy and in season. Customer service is fine. I've never had an issue with returns and exchanges. Store is clean, well organized, not daunting like other Ross stores I've visited. They also have seasonal knit tops, t-shirts, kitchen stuff too. read more

On july 28th, 2022 at 11:08AM, my sister and I were racially discriminated by these two ladies working at this ross. The lady with the mask is the manager who did not want to hear me and my sister out when we are the customers, the lady giving us a dirty look is the cashier. She first called us over very rudely than refused to give us a partial discount on an item that was previous opened. Although we were okay without the discount, the cashier continued to argue with us and call us rude and mean when we had did nothing to her. she calls her manager over and the MANAGER disregards my sister and I and sides with her employee. This ross needs to learn a thing or two about hospitality because from my experience here, i will never shop here again bc i felt like the employee is right, not the customer. Rated just because of an experience with an associate this evening. As I'm walking around the store, I see a rolling clothing rack sitting near the women's tops. I see something on it I like, and I start looking through the items. Out of nowhere Gladys comes up and proceeds to push the rack away from me as she sees me looking at the clothing on it. No pardon, no explanation... just rude silence. I then say, excuse me - can I look at these items? To which she replies, "not over here". I then, calmly let her know that what she did was rude, and that next time she should politely mention to a customer they can look at the rolling rack in the next location instead of just pushing it away without so much as a word. Upon walking in, you can feel the emptiness in merchandise, disorganization of the store, and just chills. Mixed feelings about this location. Yes, it's a big store, as others have noted, or could it be an illusion caused by lack of inventory? Hmm. It's very clean and easy to see inventory, but again, I attribute this to a scarce selection. After all, the thrill of the find is why we shop there. They did have good prices. The pros: The store is large, fairly clean and well organized. The staff didn't bother me and I had time to browse. I found a top for $8 and a wallet for the same price; I also picked up a couple of decent handtowels. The cons: The clothing is hideous. Seriously, 99% of what they had in the store I wouldn't wear if you PAID me. Horrible prints, tops that were so sheer you could read a book through them, cheap materials, etc. The shoe selection was even worse. The one top I bought wasn't great -- cheap, thin material with a weird print. I think I bought it just to make the trip worth it! So if you have a LOT of time to browse you might find a few bargains. This place has a good selection but poorly managed. Its alllllways dirty and unorganized. There is some selection if they're in stock. Everything is cheap but it always feels dirty here. I came here after going to the Springfield Ross in rolling Valley Mall and was immediately struck by how messy and unorganized everything was. A friend of mine has me on a mission looking for a very specific pair of leggings for her curling team. As an employee was hastily trying to avoid talking with customers I got her attention and asked her where leggings labeled one size fits most would be. She shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know, turned around and walked away. In the future I will go out of my way to avoid this Ross. read more

I love this Ross location, amazingly big, variety of selections to choose from and I am Madly in love with the choices in bags/purses they have. I love that my co workers give me money so I can buy them nice affordable bags from Ross. Customer service leaves something to be desired, hit or miss at times, not to interested in helping you when you can finally fine someone but that doesn't happen too often and it is not bad enough to deter me from going. Honestly I give it five stars because they have an amazing selection of items, fairly priced and I haven't had many run ins with bad customer service. So overall I love this place! read more

I really love this store for the obvious reasons. It's so cheap and I can find things that they don't carry at other places similar like K-Mart or Sears.The only issue that I have sometimes is that the lines can be pretty long. But but the prices are really great. I can buy normal non name-brand shirts that would normally would cost for one shirt anywhere else. If your looking for clothing I would definitely encourage you to go here rather than any other big box retail clothing store. You can get a lot more here than you can at those other big box stores. read more

This location just recently opened back up. They have redone the whole shopping center and it looks a lot better now. I usually go to the Marshall's over by Shoppers to look for good deals on clothes. I went into the new Ross store and was really impressed. There selection of clothes is huge and their prices are excellent. The store was clean and well organized. They do not have much of a selection on home goods and those type of things but for clothes they are great. The cashier was very friendly..I think he may have been a manager. Very rude manager I asked for a price for one of the toys that did not have a price. She looked at it without any thought to it and said $24.99. When I asked how do you come up with this price she said the box size is similar to the others. So if the other toys that's in the similar box size is $24.99 this must be $24.99 also. I told her that they are different brands so should be different prices, obviously she disagree. I also went online and showed her three or four different places that was selling it for $12.99 including Amazon. By the way Amazon don't charge you taxes or shipping. read more

Visited here about six months ago but my visit is still fresh in mind for two reasons: 1. The place was clean and very organized. That alone sticks out at any Ross because usually they are a hot mess. 2. The theft prevention guy was sooo nice! He offered to help me carry my items to the car and was friendly to everyone that came in the door. I'll definitely be back to this one for sure! read more
